Hey everyone,

So, here I am! After close to four years of lurking I finally decided to join for real.
Hm, what would you want to know…? Let's start with the obvious:

I got into One Piece by watching the anime which to me was like the coolest cartoon ever (lack of experience, I guess ). I think the episodes (in my country) went up to after Skypia and were endlessly rerun afterwards. So I became curious, hijinks ensued and I started reading the manga up to the most recent chapter which was Garp revealing Dragon as Luffy's father.

Yeah, ever since I have been following this community, from the shadows, always waiting, always scheming...or some such :ninja:

also, i'm not sure what country you live in, but the show is only currently dubbed (in english) up to about episode 195 which is a bit after Skypia ends, so that would explain the reruns. And if you don't want to watch the subtitled episodes, every saturday funimation puts up the new episode one the website, and you have until wednesday before Hulu takes over and you can't watch it from outside the states.

I'm from Germany. I haven't really been actively following the anime in a long time. But I am pretty sure the most recent episodes are actually a lot farther along than 195. Not sure how much exactly, though. But thanks for the information

Edit: I did a little research. The most recent episode that aired in Germany was 400.
