Ok to the real thing I wanted to say… or ask rather... A friend of mine said that there is going to be a Final Fantasy for it... Anyone know if this is true or anything, and what FF is it gonna be? I got really curious from that...
A sequel to the Crystal Chronicles from the Gamecube FF:CC: The Crystal Bearers. Though I hope to god it plays more like a FF and less like the first game. And it's also supposed to incorperate WiiConnect in some way/shape/form. There is a short clip of it here.
As long as it is not a like the new "all cut scene, just press A to continue" Final Fantasy, it should be ok.
I did not like the Crystal Chronicles Final Fantasy game that much, mainly because you had to always stay close to that bloody lamp or else you're dead.
Personally I just hope the gameplay is more traditional ie turn based.
I'm hoping that if DQS and FFCB are successful the wii will garner more top notch support from Square Enix.
I don't own a Wii…yet but I hope Nintendo can step up to the plate and improve upon some of these minor shortcomings with their online capabilities.
Yeah. Nintendo really do need to step up in terms of online. Hopefully though they'll have some massive firmware update in the future. Or atleast before they launch the online capable games in the US.

Even if everybody has forgotten to complain, DS's online has still those same shortcomings. Nintendo hasn't done anything.
VC games' prices sucks ass. Dunno about the games, supposedly they are almost exact ports of their console counter parts - for good and for bad.
Gears of War does kick ass though. If I can't find a Wii in a couple of next months, I will just buy a 360.

Holy belated console launch, Batman! Snagged this baby after class today. EB was ridiculously crowded, though remarkably I made it out with my Wii & TP in a fairly swift fashion.

Nawh, had it since August, dude. Haven't taken the little stick tag off the eject button yet. -_-;

Actually, I seem to be one of the few that enjoyed FF:CC (despite it's shortcomings). I'm sort of now hoping they'll release a better sequel as well as more "traditional" one (mixed in with some nice Wii mechanics, naturally).

I also quite liked FF:CC as I had a great buddy that I could play it with, so we had a good time.
My friends and I played 4 player FF:CC back a couple of summers ago. It was pretty fun, I just wish there was more to it than what was there. I hope they can improve upon things and make it better.

I have the Wii like many people here (I think) and it is absolutely amazing. Zelda: Twilight Princess is a blast, but it does get boring after you already passed the whole game.

I put it in, nothing was loading. So I tried restarting my Wii with the Freeloader in it. When the Wii came on, I saw the game channel had the GCN logo loaded. So I went to it and pressed start. There it was… Freeloader's beautiful screen. I ejected, put in D.O.N, and it loaded. Fuck yes.

This is the best news. Now some one needs to try and see if importing will work.
Freeloader doesn't work with Wii games. This has been stated a lot in many places.

Does anyone from London know when the next allocation of Nintendo Wii arrive. Argos said they hope to have some in before christmas but I'll be really thankful if someone knows a date.
Just wanted to mention the Metal Slug Collection for the Revo is one worth getting seeing as it has a number of neat extras like an art gallery mode and a sound test.
This game alone makes me want to get a Revo before the 360!

Yes to the first and we have no clue yet about the second, but Nintendo are looking into the legal technicalities for games such as Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie and the like that we all adored on the N64.
