Hell if I know who Colbert is. Anyone got a pic of him? (Maybe there's one on other pages, I'll have a look later)
He does the Colbert Report on Comedy Central. It's like the Daily Show.

Rickman can play late 30s even though he's over 60. You never would have guessed he's 61 if you saw or heard him.
Mostly, it's the voice. It would be perfect for Kuro. When I first saw Kuro in the manga, I immediately imagined him when Rickman's voice. That and being a hugh Rickman fan… :wub:
edit-
It's a shame George C. Scott is dead. He's be perfect as Garp.
edit-
If someone can come up with a good role for Alan Alda, I will give you the greatest loving of your life.
I like Rickman too, in …uhh... Sense and Sensibility. (is Ang Lee fan <3)
Clive Ashborn as Braham
And Joe Don Baker is…..... Yama.
edit-
Lilly Tomlin or Mindy Sterling as Dr. Kureha.
@Pass:
And Joe Don Baker is…..... Yama.
I prefer he was played by George Wendt.
And Kyle McLachlan would be just fine as Kuro.
George C. Scott would be perfect as Montblanc Cricket…
Jennifer Garner as kalifa. Perfect role.
George Wendt? I don't know. I see him more as Zambai. And Yama's a fat lazy slob. No one does fat lazy slobs better than JDB.
Thought I don't consider Ms. Garner that great of an actress, her as Califa would be a waste of her talent.
edit-
Even though I'm a bit iffy on it, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson as Ohm.
I thought Arnold Shwartznegger might make a good Blueno
And Steve Martin would make a good Spandam
And Steve Tyler as Lucci
Johnny Depp as Shanks
Funny, I always saw Zambai as Jon Lovitz. And Vin Diesel would be perfect as Ohm, if he wasn't so expensive as he is now.
I don't see what is wrong to play Califa, though Garner indeed wouldn't work in that role.
Califa doesn't do much. She's more of a fanservice and action oriented character than….. acting.
Bill Nighy as Gan For.
George C. Scott would be perfect as Montblanc Cricket…
But he's dead.
@Pass:

Blame it on Oda. She was a cool character but then he messed up
[ON] For the sake of our dearest Nami :happy: [OFF]
for the sake of the heroine:getlost:
@Pass:
But he's dead.
Yeah, that's why I wrote would.
Ah, I see. Sorry, but the word 'would' doesn't necessarily mean that the person is dead.
Johnny Depp as Brooke. No questions!
Christina Ricci as Perona. Perfect match there, considering she did Wednesday Thursday Addams in her youth.
Hogback should be Danny Devito. He was BORN to play that role.
Cindry? Maybe Emily Bergl?
Moria is a tough one. Perhaps John Goodman?
Ryuuma should be Orlando Bloom, just to piss Johnny Depp off.
I can't think of a good one for Hildon.
He might not an actor but after Pirates At worlds end, Hans Zimmer just has to do the score if there is ever a One Piece Movie.
Nah, the composer who does the music for the anime series should do the music. Hell, the music he's already done for the anime should just be used as the soundtrack with him composing new pieces when the situation calls for it.
How about Steve Buscemi as Spandam? He's good at playing creeps.
I have talked about Steve Buscemi being Spandam in an old post of this thread.
NO
Lord Cuttler Bekket=Spandam
Lord Cutler Beckett, "Read between the lines. You pirate sukka' FOOZ!!"
He would be perfect…
And Spandain could be played by John Leguizamo.
…........
Louie Anderson with makeup as Fukurou.
Brook=Chris Rock
just stop…
and immagine :o
Good God no. Chris Rock has too much of a in your face attitude to play the (somewhat) gentleman Brooke.
@Pass:

It would be a nice WTF, like Hulk Hogan playing Franky…
Actually, Ven Diesil would make a good Franky.
Christopher Walken could be Spandam. He acts like Spandam in the movie, "The Rundown".
BTW, you edit your post, Rootbeer.
@Rootbeer:
no no no no no no no no no no!
Christopher Walken's incredible acting would be wasted on a character like Spandam. He's too good for that role. That, and Spandam doesn't have a scene where he has that Walken-syndrome speech.
Yeah, I changed it. I just wanted to add more.
http://www.apforums.net/showpost.php?p=377189&postcount=29
Christopher Walken would be cool as Kumadori. The problem would put all that make-up in him.
Elizabeth Hurley is a definate Robin. I'm not sure if anyone can Argue with me on that.
Ven Diesel would make a pretty good Wiper.
And did anyone ever see "The Ref" With Denis Leary? there're a few scenes where he looks ALOT like Sanji.
Edit: Pamela Anderson and Califa.
I like Kelly Hu as Robin, she is Asian, friggin sexy as hell, and kind of looks like Robin.
Sorry, but Kumadori doesn't have any Walken-syndrome speeches.
Wait, I got it. Christopher Walken as Hiriluk! Imagine Walken doing Hiriluk's "I am a doctor" speech.
@Pass:
"I am a doctor"
When I read that I had Walken voice in my head say it. Fucking perfect.
Actually, I would prefer to build a time travel machine and take Vincent Price while he was still alive for he play Hiruluk.

Not if it was a star studed movie like smokin' aces. Spandam wouldn't be that bad of a role either.
The FIRST time I saw Nico Robin, I thought "Hot damn! Anime Xena" Lucy Lawless might be a little old to do her know, but back in her Xena glory days. Hell yeah! It's always the first actress&role that comes to my mind when thinking Live action One Piece.
Tom Cruise as Luffy
Brad Pitt as Zoro
George Cloony as Chopper
Angelina Holei as Nami
Ben Afflac as Sanji
Matt Damon as Usopp
George Cloony as Robin(double role film, and he's a big gash anyway)
Bernie Mac as Franky
It shall be called OCEAN'S EIGHT.
Chris Kattan = Doflamingo
Randomly came to me.
^LOL that might work
Hmm, for somehow I thought in John Malkovich to be Enel… I dunno, maybe because he is really good to impersonate insane, flamboyant characters.
I have a question for you guys…
If a One Piece movie "was made"... wouldn't it be made in Japan? Like Death Note? Why would it be made in America, where it has so little popularity? Hollywood film-makers wouldn't dare take that risk. They would make a movie about something that the vast majority of the American adult population would be familiar with…
...which is most certainly not One Piece.
(unless they made it a low buget straight to DVD kids movie)
@Lobster:

Because…
This doesn't suppose to be a serious thread.

Probably right but One Piece would work better without an all Asian cast because, they are Pirates and Asian Pirates are not as cool.

I hope not, I don't like movies were every actor looks exactly the same.
Oh yeah, to make this post more relevant:
=
Who is that, Mantisk?
It's Jim Broadbent
It's Jim Broadbent
That's right, and a great actor, if I may add.
Check out "Moulin Rouge!" (he played Harold Zidler), "Gangs of New York" (Boss Tweed) and "Hot Fuzz" (Nick Frost's father), or await the fourth Indiana Jones or the next Harry Potter.
edit:
Hey, I didn't watch Narnia, but I just saw a picture of Jim Broadbent in it:
Fits perfectly!
I was watching Narnia for the first time day before yesterday. I liked him.
Sorry for resureccting a dead topic, but while watching Willard, I realized that Crispin Glover could pull off Spandam. He's great at playing insanely characters and they both have unusual noses. Plus, he's not that much older than Spandam (43 to 39).
Has Bruce Campbell been suggested for anyone yet? I think he could play Jyabura easily. He's good at playing characters like him, although he is getting rather old.
There's a video on YouTube that has actors as OP characters…
For example, George Clooney as Iceburg, Bruce Willis as Captain Smoker, Sylvester Stalone as Arlong and Blueno... Jet Li as Jyabura...
Funny thing how some of them…
Appear in One Piece….
Well, the girl's outfit actually resembles another look of the character above, but you get the point. Anyways, that show was a hit in Japan for what I know..
Haha, I remember when someone made a thread about it in the OP thread that I used to go.
