It'll be titled "Shadows of the DAMNED", you take on the role of a motorcycle riding demon-slayer, who slays demons... while riding a motorcycle. Everyone on the same page? Yes? Okay, good.
Hopefully we get some footage at TGS.

There was a distinct shortage of Motorcycle in that trailer. Interesting to see a hispanic protagonist, especially from a japanese game.
Yeah, looks like the motorcycle may not be a big part of gameplay. Fine by me.
pretty much what I expected. looks to be RE4/5 style gameplay (which needs to be in more games) mixed with Suda's great style. Which is a good thing. Very very good.
I wanna see what interesting things you can do with that sort of magical gun he's got.

It's looking good so far, although I'm hoping for something more than just another rehash of RE 4/5, which I'm pretty sure they will have more to it.
Trust me, there are plenty of tweaks that can be made to the RE 4/5 system that'll make it stand tall above other games.
I've been cracking out on the RE5 mercenaries reunion lately. There are several relatively easy ways that system could be tweaked that come to mind. (more melee attacks that possibly don't require the targeting of various body parts. Weapon selection. Increased movement, etc..)
Doesn't really surprise me to see a hispanic protagonist from Suda since he's a big fan of Lucha Libre. Game looks badass.
Not what I was hoping for and I probably wouldn't care for it after that trailer if I didn't know who's behind that game.
But seeing how EA is financing this, it was foreseeable that it wouldn't be as crazy as Killer 7/NMH (and sadly use the annoying U3 engine).
Wow, so much better than what I expected. It looks like he's a 'normal' person that doesn't dance ballet around bullets unlike…you know.

Yeah, I'm hoping for a regular everyday everyman. I don't want some half demon with magical powers. But I'm willing to bet he's going to have SOME supernatural power.

I've been looking forward to this game since it's initial announcement a while back. I think that the grouping up of Suda51, Shinji Mikami, and Akira Yamaoka is a stroke of sheer genius. I really can't see how this game could do wrong.

Every game cover may have the main character in a cool pose on it, but not many reach this level of style.
The game's been delayed till June 21. Honestly, I think it should be moved to July to get it out of the way of Alice: Madness Returns, another EA partners game. At present I have to choose between only one of them, resulting in not being able to buy the other until after the important numbers have been counted.
This just made it hard to put the game on a waitlist as I intended to get and play other games releasing soon instead.

Shame here. You think I'd easily choose this over Alice being a Suda51 fan, but I've been anticipating Alice since before this game was formally announced due to its art direction. God, this is so unfair. Two games I really want, released in the same month, and both by EA.

It looks more like he's making a jab at all those artsy platformers that seem to be popping up these days.
I'm back from my first taste of the game, and I must say it is delicioso. I'm 3 hours in and just got to Act 3. It is quite fun, but the game is also quite twisted. So if you got a weak stomach, might wanna avoid this one but I doubt that's any of you.
The most twisted moment so far was probably the second boss fight, in which you fight in a demon's version of a farmer's market. Instead of fruit and vegetables on display, it's human body parts. They even have full bodies in a basket with an apple in their mouth. I'm happy to report tho that the game is not scary, just insanely gory and twisted.
Also, strawberries are made out of ground up tongues. This game taught me something!

I feel ya, it just so happened the tax return hit mere days before its release. I am so happy I didn't skip this, to think I was seriously considering putting it on hold for later.
I am playing it and it is awsome its somthing you would expect from suda 51 being a no more heroes fan garcia is a fantastic protagonist and the game is very fun charactors have depth garcia and johnson are a good combination and the homages are good too, only flaw so far is that it looks like they didnt have much money to make the game it looks good but nothing amazing otherwise its a great game only at act 2-3 just bet george lmao it would seem gamespots review of 8.5 is the one to go by so far and game informer ign seem to be missing the point with a harsh 7…
In regards to homages, wait till you get to Act 3 and the level "As Evil As Dead. The whole level is dedicated to the movies. I was so fanboy'd during it all.
ye i heard about that level and ye i watched all the evil dead movies 2 was probaly my faverate 3 was ok but could have been much better do you think the blue gems are a sonic referance they look like the chaos emeralds??
GC gave it 7/10. So while I'll definitely be buying it sometime soon, there's no way I'm dropping £40 on it.
