The forum claims there have been ~1,800,000 posts. There should be some kind of prize for the person who gets the 2,000,000th post.
2,000,000th Post
-
-
It's a volatile number though.
Mods delete posts all the time.
-
Do older posts also get deleted? If not, one could wait to see which is the 2,000,000th post after we are a few thousand over two million.
-
-
-
Wouldn't be fair on the guy who got the 1,000,000th post and didn't get anything. :P
-
You're basically making the suggestion to make a race for the 2 000 000 Th post? And what about every 500 000th post? or every 100 posts? Or every post?
Quantity over quality. You be the judge which is better.

This post is deleted!

This would cause spam, imagine 2 million posts and then its at 1,999,999 by count it'll be spam chaos. Fail idea sorry :(. but nice concept :) could work with viewers, 10million viewer or something

You may want to try that again. :wassat:
Sorry, I'm being nitpicky.

I've described what i think will happen if we practice what he wants. In other words he wants the quantity to win over the quality. Which is why i wrote what i did.
Is "quantity over quality" not allowed in english? -
I think what you said was right. It's just not all that common to hear quantity over quality in English. It's almost always the other way around.
-
The way you phrased it makes it sound like you were advocating quantity over quality.
-
Yeah, forgive me. I assumed you were trying to tell him that it is quality over quantity.
My bad.

Experience showed that constructive criticism isn't a good thing in this forum.
/real talk.

We all know why the thread was closed. It was because of immaturity. As simple as that. We shouldn't forget that there are many manchilds running free crashing threads left and right.
-
Congrats to…AP!? Hmmm. Instead of focusing on who posted the 2,000,000th post and lauding him/her…why not just congratulate APForums.net as a whole?

everyone knows i'm the winner at everything anyway
-
You guys are all focusing on the negatives. I think it'd be fun to see a particular thread called 'race to 2,000,000th post' and a whole bunch of people posting like mad to get it. No problem right?
And the prize could easily be a custom signature or something small like that. Simple.
Good idea, unlikely to happen. doesn't affect me either way.
-
You're basically saying it would be fun to spam/Ddos the board. You and i have a differennt concept of what's funny and not.

Fixed .
It served as good filler for the break though. Plus I bet none of you thought it could hold out that long before turning into a smelly goo.

I like this idea. An Arlong Park celebration!
Edit: It just realized that it will probably be several months before this happens. Definitely next year.

probly more than 2 million posts due to the fact mods probly deleted alot due to how long the forums been running
-
It'd be neat if the Admins released a new skin to mark the occasion.
(Unlikely to happen though)
