So. I've come forward because letting the town kill someone that I know is town is beyond idiotic. I am well aware that there is little other reason to keep the gun off of Mastello. I am giving you a reason to keep him around.

Mainly, I speculated that by revealing ourselves, I could stave off an incorrect kill as well as put enough suspicion on myself to keep the mafia off of me.

Obviously, there are many more targets that are worthy of attention. This isn't a typical lynch. We don't need a consensus to kill. All we need to do is point Elizabeth in the right direction.

Killing no one is not an option. I am simply pointing the gun away from someone I know is town.

Ergo, my recommendation for the kill would be a player who has been leading the town in the wrong direction. Shuhan has pushed for a lot of people that I don't agree with as targets. Nectar is another person who has pushed hard, but I don't think he'll agree with my decision. (Despite his own desire to be removed from all this madness.)

Regardless, if Elizabeth still ends up shooting Mastello, his flip will confirm everything I've said. His alignment, his character, what have you. But I was/am under the impression that he and I would both end up dead come tomorrow morning.

Why? Because I love lynching no-shows. You know this. Everyone who has played this game with me knows this. Do I still want Mastello shot? YES! But, I can also lynch a no-show, so I'm gonna try to do both.

Before anyone asks…Why didn't I go after him before? Because my attention was on Bogart and Mastello. Seeing Haba's name made me realize I was neglecting him. Good job on bringing him to my attention, Harvady. Mastello still dies.

I apologize for my absence for the past few days. I haven't been in the best condition due to the recent holidays and such. I'm still in a bit of a daze but I have the gist of what's been happening so far. I'll still remain on the down low for this first day only as I still can't completely comprehend everything just yet.

so we're willing to take Harvady on his word if Mastello flips town? i guess that's believable since he's sticking his ass so far out the line to try to prevent this. sadly, i think Harvady's efforts are in vain. the good thing, though, is that if Mastello's death clears Harvady, we have one "confirmed" townie. (i used the word "confirmed" loosely here, and only because with no one cleared, this act probably makes him the most townie-looking…)

my honest thoughts on the issue, though: i think while Mastello may have messed up with what Nectar and i tried to pull on him, he doesn't give off scummy vibes to me. what totally doesn't sit well is Sky ruining everything and Bogart happily coming along a few posts after and doing his thing. it's just too convenient. if Mastello has to get shot today, fine, but i would like more pressure on Bogart tomorrow. and i would have expected Shuhan to be a little less fingerpointy, especially with the mess that was the vig in the last game, i thought he'd be more cautious about these things. but he seems to have come out strong here, and nothing's ever certain on D1 unless you're mafia. just another one to keep my eye on…

I have a question regarding the mechanic of the game.
When is the lynched person's alignment revealed ?
Because if this information is known before the night comes, the gun could be used very effectively. We just need 2 possible targets for the mayor to chose (the pair of the lynched and another suspect).
I guess I'm stating the obvious there, though :)

You may say that this is no regular lynch, yet, I am still asking for a majority for which ever my target will be as I am but a tool for tonight's kill.

Aww, Laserbeak, why do you have to bring up my screw up in the last game, my wounds had just healed… Anyway, the only reason I survived in IV was because I was the baker and not even mafia wanted me dead. Since then, I have been settling into the role of starting conversation. Granted, sometimes it isn't always ideal conversation, but at least I get people talking...

I really don't like how Bogart post so soon after Sky did. I'm not sure about Sky BUT I would lynch her if I didn't have bigger fish to fry. Townie or not, she really screwed up. I just can't stop thinking about it. Why would she do it?

I am a man who wants to get conversation going. In a sense I am a level-headed Nectar, alibet a little green. When I hear something that piques my interest, I pursue it. If the results are town, bully, my work paid off.

In effect, the reason I did what I did was to lure out the 'experienced' players so that I could get a read on them. Now them taking it as an attack on 'experienced' players was a stretch, but it is comforting to know a natural leader is to be trusted.

Oh and about referring to last games? I try not to, but people keep on harping about my past mistakes, and needed to clear the air…

Call me a flip-flop if you must. But I base my theories on what I read from others.

About 7 hours and 30 minutes to go…

I agree with no lynch since we already have big chances (judging by the normal town/mafia ratio) of killing two townies in the same phase with our own hands (if pairs die together) but I'm not gonna cast my vote just yet because I don't really want for the dayphase to end without at least 50% of the players agreeing with a gun target. For me, both Masty and Harvady are more townies than scums. True, Masty did ignore that little detail in Nectar's post (and that doesn't help anymore since the "secret" was revealed) but maybe he was just too excited to be able to prove himself townie (by answering to Laser's question) that he messes up that...I don't know...But Harvady did say something normally a townie in this game should know.

If I had to gun someone right now, I'll chose between PkBaldy or SUDoK. PkBaldy because he suddenly disappeared after the game started (plus, he likes being suspected =P) and SUDoK for acting quite lazy since the game started.

I’m not happy with the lack of votes either but I'm not sure the town is gonna kill an innocent just like that. If we kill Masty and our main fear comes true (the pairs dying together) there’s nothing left to prove beside the (most likely) innocence of the two victims. If the mafia’s also that lucky, that’s 4 deaths in the first nighphase. Even if I somehow feel that the pairs aren’t gonna die together (judging by their numbers that would end the game way too fast) I still can’t get rid of the feeling that the curse has something to do with what happens to the left one if his pair dies.

I’m glad that Eli proved to be a good player that actually reads and analyzes what’s been posted. It makes me want to give her the Mayor role again. Too bad it’s impossible two times in a row. I'm sure she won’t blindly follow what everyone says just to get rid of the (unpleasant, I must say) job of shooting a player.

As for Pkbaldy, I have absolutely nothing in my notes on him. For me he isn't even here. Does that warrant a kill ? I honestly don't know.

Well there were others who voted, but i think that eliz reset the vote count. Now I've never been a supporter of D1 lynches and this gun thing is similar. unfortunately, we have no choice but to do it, therefore, I believe that if we have to use it on someone we use it one of the people that have hardly said anything.(ie Mr. Haba, PK and flaming) Since the only one of them with a gun vote is flaming, I will cast a similar vote.

I said what i have been saying all the damned time i wanted to prevent the confirmation of who everyones partner was not the whole partner issue itself i feared people would touch upon something like the "no abilities" thing since it narrows down everyones suspects. Now that it has been made public i wonder actually do the mafia in a partnership have no ability as well?

True i only gave my opinion on Bogart being a mafia wich i still do not believe he really is he has risen abit due to causing certain… drama, he just did not feel on as a townie at that moment as well.

Placing yourself in the thoughts of the enemy it is quite a commonly used tactic you know, and in the sentence i added to the fact if she was mafia as well and to exploit her new person status (don't mean this as an insult to you Heart in fact i think you're playing very admirably)

I did not rush the day i thought there was less than 10 hours and the day would come soon to an end anyway besides it looked like no one had anything left to discuss, had you perhaps preferred i stayed a lurker and said nothing?

as you can see in Elisabeth Heart's most recent post, Mastello still has the majority of the votes.

Well I ask n00bish questions like that because I don't read every page. I read about 2/3 of the pages, then post to see if anything changed in the remaining 1/3 pages.
And I usually am somewhere else, yes. And I usually ask about Mastello's choice as it's for some reason the last choice there. ALL THE TIME!
And so…the mains targets are vorlianis and Mastello? Is that right now? All up to date?

Yes, I do know that there are other players, in fact if you had looked just a little bit harder, you may have seen that I listed two others in my post along with you. The reason I chose you for the vote was because you already had one. And I wouldn't worry too much about it. As you said mastello is the one with the majority and as soon as KI shows up this day is over. My vote towards you was more or less trying to be a wake up call, so just be a little bit more active and try not to take it too personally.

As the sun rose into the sky on the second day, the town had awakened. Immediately, the townfolk had found a single body sprawled out in the plaza, dread filling the dead man's face.

! Mastello was Smoker, a Townie.

_Distraught over the man's death, the town quickly buried him next to trapped and Kitsune. As most of the town worked to bury him, Malice, Kinalara, and Sky happened upon a cave in the nearby woods. Inside the cave, the trio found a curious glyph carved into the rocks.

"Look," Malice pointed out.

"How strange," Sky stated, looking at the mural featuring a painting of man and dog. "I've heard before that the people of this island worshipped dogs as a deity."

"Hmm," Kinalara pondered before happening upon a second mural, this time with men, but no dogs. Only strange, abstract monsters.

"What could this mean?" Sky asked as she found a third mural, containing no dogs or men, just monsters. "These letters look like Poneglyphs. I can't make them out."

"We should go back," Malice concluded. "Maybe someone can read these Poneglyphs in the village. There's no sense in worrying the others."

As the trio left the caves, a curious voice rang loudly, echoing through the cavernous walls. "The 67th hour approaches…"_ ******************************************************
