Haha, I love Bellamy. The mix about agressivity and cuteness, that's weird °^°

Love the night colors in that last one. Really reminiscent of Earthbound, for some reason.
And Gnomejao is wonderful.

Ah, your artwork is just so lovely, cute, and awesome! The colors, the style, absolutely wonderful.
Thanks for stopping in to say that. Part of your positive energy is just what I needed.
Glad Y?ou were able to see the key aspects I aim for.

Love the guy too. That one line of him saying he won't laugh at Luffy anymore was the moment his character won it for me.

Neat nickname :3 Gnomejao seems like it's a fan favorite from people I showed it to.
But yes. I did take the base colors for the daytime bg (minus a few things like the sky and house) from Mother 3 before playing around with effects/filters to make the night one. It turned out really nice tho. Looking fowarrd to trying this stuff on more finished pieces.
edit: Oh wow. I forgot to upload this. I guess I was a little tired(still am now)

Love it. Shame how few people will get the reference.

Obscure references are my thing.
Doodles of a cartoon with one of my favorite diverse casts. Class of 3000 was a breath of fresh air for me. My greatest memories of this show had to have been the Christmas special, so I can’t help but think of it annually in December.

This was to play around and study different sort of faces or traits on black characters. There's a whole tangent I can write of my attempts gathering references to this, but I'll probably save it for a blog entry in the future. It's just some of the stuff I've read from other boards sort of saddened me. Maybe I'll make a write up this weekend. So keep on a lookout on my Tumblr if you do use the protocol.Either way, I nothing denies me enjoying this study when I'm actually drawing from designs.

Gnome Chinjao is cool yet funny at the same time, lol.
Bart looks cool and Rebecca's growl face is adorably scary.
-
Hahah. I tend to draw fighting girls more fiercer than they normally are. Or atleast exaggerate a perp a I really like on certian characters when it comes to stylizing. Thanks!
I'm not good at drawing Christmas images. So I just drew kids hanging out with Glacier Bears. It was really cool coloring this creature design for the first time.
But yeah. Merry Christmas. Whether your celebrate it or get offended by it =:3 -
those aren't bears. they're really beeeeeeears. those bear cubs are precious.
-
Adorable designs for those cubs, I love the bright and lively coloring style you got going on there too, especially with how you have the linework on some things like the clouds and the cubs themselves different colors, I've been meaning to try that kind of thing myself in my own color stuff sometime!
-
Those ice bears remind me of Cubchoo's from Pokemon, only bigger and cuter.
-
It's been a while since I posted some art here. Still exploring a bit and not getting anything done tho.
Original character stuff.

As always, really enjoying your color and how it sets the mood particularly in the first two Syn and Leo ones…I'd love to see what led to that second one!
Are you still using a nid to do your inking mostly, because the Kill la Kill one made me think a bit of a brushpen or something. The Parantural stuff is really fun, in particular I like the shadow on Suzy's hair. Very subtle. Johnny looks a bit older in a couple of his pictures and I like all the poses. I've finally been reading Paranatural recently and got to the current chapter and he's been an interesting one.

It's basically an ongoing gag or inside joke that's been going on for years.

Yup… Doesn't explain the current one, but that's definitely the joke. Are you still using a nid to do your inking mostly, because the Kill la Kill one made me think a bit of a brushpen or something. All the images minus the Pnat ones are done with a Felt Tip pen. The Kill la Kill one was my first time using it… thus why it looks thicker. The others was more me practicing with weights... which is still kinda hard. Funny you mentioned nibs, because I'm actually planning on replacing them with Felt Tip.
-
Oh yeah, I think I've seen the first one of those Valentine's pics way back, but definitely have a vivid memory of the most recent along with the other VDay pics you made. Looking forward to seeing more felt tip work from you, I believe Paranatural does as well and the way Zack Morrison handles it is great. By the way, what kind of felt tip have you been using dude?
-
Not even sure I'd recommend a Felt tip pen aside from trying out a bunch of them. But I use this one
http://www.jetpens.com/Pentel-Fude-Touch-Sign-Pen-Black/pd/9199It's good, but I'm not sure how long it lasts per pop. So I'm looking into trying some other ones.
