You could try (though this would be long and tedious) taking fake eyelashes, tear them apart, so that they are just single piece of fake lashes and glue them into a curly by your eyebrows with the eyelash glue.

Meaning you may have to pluck eyebrows to get the perfect Sanji brow? I guess sanji eyebrows are easyer for us girls to do since we pluck anyway..
My Luffy cosplayer used perminate marker and he had his scar for weeks and I had a Nakama mark on my arm for double that long..
You see I do pluck my eyebrow a bit too. However I will not pluck half of my right eyebrow just so that will look good. The problem is after the convention I am still missing HALF MY EYEBROW. I have a problem with that. I will not go that far for cosplay. Although I have seen people who waxed or shaved off all their eyebrows for Gaara cosplay. That is dedication.

Well to be honest having both of my eyebrows that short would still look very odd to me. I mean you would have to pluck everything behind the arch. It would look very odd and it doesn't seem worth it. It is a small detail that my wig usually hide's anyway.

It was the hard candy kind. Yeah I was kind of surprised to hear they hadn't heard of candy cigarettes. Then I remembered after awhile people got upset cause they felt it encouraged kids to smoke. So they are probably just from that Politically correct generation.

then i thought, damn. i have that spread as a wallpaper! how did i not know? so i drew the goal? sign and took a picture.

I am not sure if I am going to do Nami or Vivi yet. The pattern works the same for both of them. More than likely I will do Nami, but I am doing her outfit after the fight with Miss Doublefinger. So it will be all ripped up and dirtified. I need to go look at fabrics and then will decide if I am going to make the Nami or Vivi outfite first.

I just worked on Nami's skirt. I have the ruffled effect. I just have to make the belt and the over layer and dye it a pale pale blue and the skirts done.
Also got the stuff to make the cape so thats good.
I WAS thinking of using silk but thats SO pricy its unreal so I used something softer then cotton. I have nice silky pink fabric for the cape.
I found THE perfect shoes for Nami too which I shall buy soon, maybe nect pay day or wait till I get some X-mas cash.
BAH I still can't find anything to make the log pose from. Those bawbal things… are impossible to find in any store near here. My friend thinks we just don't sell that type in the UK.
OK I need a little help on another cosplay now.
I found the right pants for Foxy and have the stuff to make his coat... but I'm using a jacket for the base of it and just extending it but the shades are a little diffrent... not sure if I should just start again?

As for the logpose...the compass bit I just used a piece of cardboard colored white and red, and then strang clear thread through it, tying a knot in it so it sat in the center. As for the bubble...I haven't seen any of the thing I've use in my craft stores recently...which is weird because its the holiday season o.o Maybe try looking around at Christmas ornaments that can be altered?
Omnichild, That pattern looks REALLY good for Nami or Vivi's costume. It would just need two layers instead of one. Bah...My skirt is still buried somewhere in my house, I haven't even brought it to my new apartment yet. I know I promised instructions to FFU about how I did it, but it sounds like she doesn't even need it - and quite honestly that pattern might be easier for anyone to work with than my jabber.
As for the Foxy coat...That's totally up to you...is the shade extremely off, or just a bit? Colors are really very open to interpretation, as we were just discussing in another thread.
Tomorrow Monty shops for fabric for Enishi from Kenshin, and I shop for Ryuk from Death Note supplies. But that is for another thread XD!

Just put a layer over your first layer that is exactly the same. You'll have a skirt on top of a skirt. Then cut the top one it in the same shape as Nami's. Does that make sense?

I am finally posting pictures in the cosplay thread yay! I am nowhere near being done yet, but I still wanted to share pictures of what I have so far.
First up is my logpose. I took (bought at Ben Franklin Craft store) a regular round holiday ornament. Clear and plastic of course. I then combined it with a watch band. The watch band belongs to a watch set that has interchangable watch bands. I still need to get something for the pointer thingy. It is nowhere near perfect, but still works out nicely.
Next is a picture of the top of the dancer girl's outfit. This is actually just a test top and I will not actually be wearing it at any conventions. I have never sewn anything before and thusly did not trust myself to make anything fantastic the first time. Nor am I an artist so I need to practice painting the design. XD So I bought cheap material, cut it out with blunt scissors (only because I could find the sharp ones.) It is unlined, wrinkled and unfinished. So kinda consider this as test top prelim stage. ok?
