Looking forward to the Fables games(based on a dc vertigo comic).
I guess the easiest route would be a bigby investigation style game, a'la Discworld noir.

And then you go Werewolf on Jack Horner's ass ^_^
Does Telltale strictly do adventure games? That's all I've seen them do. A the Walking Dead Game being an adventure game opposed to a survival horror/action shooter is kinda a strange choice or so.
They have such a brilliant business strategy. Don't ever ever ever do an original property!

Except for their original property Puzzle Agent a point and click puzzle game that no one has ever heard about.
it's the exception that proves the rule

Totally functions. Think Dark Seed, or any other big pile of (great to terribad) old atmospheric/horror point and clicks.
I'm excited if Walking Dead would be like that, because it'll be a cool throw back to an old style Telltale knows how to do.
Yeah, but there's definitely gonna need to be more than the simple point and click mechanics in there if you're gonna be encountering zombies. The Walking Dead isn't full of massive zombie slaying, it's more survival, but there still are moments where they do have to fend off a horde. Question is rather they're gonna more or less avoid you fighting and ultimately if a zombie catches you it's game over, or if they're gonna have a sort of combat system involved.
If it's the former, it'll definitely add great suspense to the game and make you think of your actions carefully.
Telltale are pretty busy these days.
First ep of back to the future for free:

Jurassic Park trailer:

It seems not only have they gotten the rights to make a new King's Quest game but their making a second Puzzle agent game and continuing the pilot project with a new game Hector badge of carnage.
A King's Quest revival? Surprised it didn't happen sooner.
Jeeeeezus these guys are going haywire. I mean, I really like their work and all, but…don't flood your market fellas!
That's what I was really thinking.
They're basically the sole commercial output of point and clicks right now and they've already got a lot on the table.
Not considering the stuff the franchises that are already out, I was just reading the new GI where they talked about how they have the reigns on Jurassic Park and then these show up just afterward.
And even then I was thinking that so long as they didn't really try doing anything else, it could still be contained.
But add King's Quest and more Puzzle Agent junk into the fray and it seems like they're just flat out competing with themselves.
Well its not like their making all the games at the same time. By the time Jurassic park launches back to the future will be rapping up and even then JP won't be finished till around September.
While Puzzle Agent is coming out during this because of its art style who knows how much of the game is finished and just waiting for the art to come in.
They mentioned they want a late 2011 release for the Walking dead so I figure with it and Fables they will be the back to future and jurassic park of 2012. With the new Kings quest game coming out sometime in late 2012/early 2013.
Their new game series Hector: Badge of Carnage its a ipod game that telltales is going to help finish up but its still also being made by the original developers.
Still it seems with all these new games Telltale wont be able to get to Sam & max, Monkey Island or Strong bad for a while.
