My aunt was visiting this weekend and she mentioned a site her family been on recently.

It's a great site which gives you an interesting vocabulary quiz. A few other subjects including art, chemistry, geography, and math are also available. Finally for each question you get right 10 grains of rice will be donated to people in need. Yes, you can have a bit of fun, learn something, and help people for free in your spare time.

So far I donated 850 grains of rice, my best level has been 42, though I spent most of my time in the 30's.

I also found out the Gnu means Wildebeest. I plan to use it as often as possible.

This was posted forever ago and it is pretty cool. I played for like an hour when I first heard of it. They only had vocabulary though, but now they have more.

FreeRice is not sitting on a pile of rice.you are earning it 10 grains at a time. Here is how it works. When you play the game, sponsor banners appear on the bottom of your screen. The money generated by these banners is then used to buy the rice. So by playing, you generate the money that pays for the rice donated to hungry people.
