One of the more awesome moments of my life is when I was playing my Sapphire and approached Rayquaza. I accidentally threw a pokeball the first turn and caught him.
Hell yeah!

If the network has a password yes if not and since its an hotspot it probably doesn't, you should have any problem, you just have to insert a game in the ds before playing you should have the wifi options there, go there if it picks up a hotspot it should make the configuration by itselft just go there test and confirm it, turn the game on and use it, should be easy if you did this already I don't know how to help you sorry :P.
I do all of that stuff, and it shows a strong connection. Then it jsut craps out and gives me an error that the nintendo website says as "find another place". -_________- And it's a new DS too

Yeah I do the same, I actually have Darkrai in a Duskball for that reason even though I usually spam duskballs when capturing legendaries.

So you caught Entei in a pokeball, Suicune in the great ball, and Raikou in an ultra ball in Colosseum.
That's hardcore. And awesome.

If you want the old event Pokemon there are sites that let download them.
For the easy but slow way just use http://www.500mb.us/pkm.php all you have to do is choose English NDS events and change your dns settings on your DS.

God, I love this guy.
Even better, after doing setup for the last time, since I haven't touched the game since all I had to do was turn it on and walk to the counter. Neat.
Hopefully he'll do Arceus next, thats the last of the super rarities I need.

when you get Black or White, the 2 title legendaries can be caught with a near 100% catch rate with any ball.
I caught Reshiram with a premier ball on the first throw as soon as the battle started.
I remember back in the day on Pokemon Red when I was fighting Mewtwo I had him down to around 5 hp and it took over 30 ultra balls to catch him.

Whats with fishing? May I cath the first pokemon in a city, if I fish it?
My beloved KrogGar (Croconaw lvl 26) died against a fu***** miltank lvl 15-.- Now I start to hate it too >,> And well, the only water-pokemon I got atm is a tentacruel which killed my golem, which I'll never forget you damn tentacruel-.-So basically, I haven't got a water pokemon with me, so I thought I might fish me one^^

Fishing/Surfing counts as 1st pokemon in city (unless you have caught something via headbutt or gotten something else like Eevee)

Hate to bump this with Black and White out but I figure its the most appropriate. I know alot of folks have probably migrated their pokemon from 4th gen to 5th gen by now but by any chance is there someone out there with a Kyogre they would be interested in trading? I have a few things that might be tradeable. I appreciate the help if you can either reply here or perhaps send me a private message.

Legends in the Red era had some funny catch rates. I used Pokeballs on all of them… without weakening... Sometimes even on the first turn.
