Ah, here we go. We were both mistaken. An adult Marine discovers and then reports that Marines (I presume from another ship) have been turned into old men and CHILDREN, not babies. On top of that, the children were acting their "age", meaning she does in fact have the power to affect the mind.

"I think what Urouge missed here is that you think Zoans can have however many forms they want, which I assure you is bullshit. Lucci, for instance, trained for several years to get his fourth form. No other Zoan shown thus far is nearly that dedicated."
Woah woah woah, I know i'm late to this discussion but Lucci and 4 forms? Big ol ugly leapard check, skinny ugly leapard gotcha, normal realistic leapard 3. What am I missing, some life return something? cause wasn't that just skinny ugly leapord? Or do those 3 pluss his human form count as all 4?
-
Yeah he must mean Life Return which, is in no way a fourth form.

Hey hold on, that one kid is holding his gun like a true soldier while the other is having a WTF moment.
Call it wishful thinking, but to me Bonney has the cure for ageing and a damn good party trick  -
@LongFist:
Or do those 3 pluss his human form count as all 4?
This is how Zoans are always pictured. Chopper can speak as a 4-legged reindeer, so that might as well count. All other Zoans probably have light animalistic influence even when they're just humans.

A 3-4 year old child that show concern about his current situation is acting his age?
If they would be acting their age how could they have memories of what happen before? You mean they would know that they had been adults and then say "whats going on" and then start playing with a toy car or what?
Nothing on ur link page supports the idea that they are acting "their age"
-
Your sheer retardation enrages me to no end. Do you honestly think playing with toys is literally the only thing children ever do? I suppose you also think old people only ever play Bingo and complain about "kids these days" evey waking moment? Get that bullshit out of here, you dumbfuck.
-
See there? Get too competitive and everybody looses.
16 Characters of truth
PS That panel really isn't conclusive evidence either way. I'd say a young man complaining about his old joints is more likely than an old man to whom that should be natural. But that's really the way I want it to be.

These are not in any particular order. Just something from a spur of the moment :)
Gomugomu no mi.
-For obvious reasons :d, Luffy's usage of this fruit is awesome and creative. Very dangerous with mastery of this fruit.Supasupa no mi (Mr. 1's fruit)
-The ability to turn any body part to steel is pretty powerful. Very good for a melee user.Barabara no mi (Buggy's fruit)
-A fruit not used very well at the moment. Has it's advantages and could be a potential killer fruit with a better user. Still it's awesome.Doadoa no mi (Blueno's fruit)
-Obviously one of the better fruits. the ability to make doors from anything is awesome. Definitely could be one of the most potential fruits. I think it would fit a swordsman. Make a door in the face so the opponent becomes confused, then slice him half.Hanahana no mi (Robin's)
-A powerful fruit aswell. The variety of usage makes this one potential fruit. Good for mass marine slaughter imo :D.Sabisabi no mi (rust fruit)
-Proven against zoro, pretty useful fruit too.Drake's ancient zoan fruit
-T.Rex kind of dinosaur transformation seems pretty powerful.Neko neko no mi: model leopard (Lucci's fruit)
-Also a powerful zoan. Improved senses and power are added and this fruit is excellent for a brawler.Nikyu Nikyu no mi (Kuma's fruit)
-One of the more powerful paramecia. The ability to push anything and bounce anything is one heck of an power.Horuhoru no mi (Ivankov's fruit)
-One of the more awesome fruits. Ability to control various hormones is pretty sick. And it's hella funny. Could be used very in an interesting way ;) -
Now that I look at it again, you've got a point, Ninjabrownie. But just to be clear, it's a seperate subject from the source of my rage.

Haha what a totall waste of a response. Nothing they are doing in the pic is "acting their age" its just another of your tries to act smart and justify your own theories on fantasies. Also stop the name calling it only helps to cheapen ur statements and I dont need that
Stop trying to sound as if u actually made a valid point
@Conspiracynut:Do you honestly think playing with toys is literally the only thing children ever do?
and whats this complete nonsense? Where do you get the idea that I believe such a thing?

It's impossible to tell if her power actually affected their age or it was just funny for them to be snotnosed brats. We really have no idea what the limits of Bonney, Law, and Doflamingo are, but it's safe to say that there are some. It wouldn't make sense if they were invincible.
-
If there ever was proof that you aren't paying attention, that's it. We've long passed the point of my misconception. My outburst was a result of your implications that for children to be in character, even in a dangerous situation, they would act easy-going and play around. Such laughable ignorance has stirred in me a hatred that I do not at all enjoy harboring.

I said that as an example of an childlish act. For their mind to act the age they have they would have to have a memory loss after the turn. So they would not know it was a dangerous situation you cant expect a young child to realise that that is a dangerous right after it is put on the scene.
And if it has memories left of being a grown up how can it act the age of 4? The way someone act is based on trial and error in life.
A grown man saying "Whats going on" right after being turned into a child is not a proof of his mind being changed to that of a child.
Neither is " my joints hurt"You said it was, I pointed out it that it's not.

That's a humorous accusation, considering I was in your role of that superiority complex of yours against two people earlier in this very same thread, and Drake accused me of "getting bent out of shape". I am not so stupid as to think the brashness I've shown you could impress anyone that is smart enough for me desire them as a friend. That was pure emotion. THAT was getting bent out of shape, Drake.
As for the misunderstanding regarding age and memory, I regret to inform you that your logic is shitty. Unfortunately for me, I'm too sleepy to explain why right now. See you in the morning.

It's all a matter of your lack of imagination, really. It is true that experience molds personality, but they are not unseperatable. I find it entirely possible that once Bonny de-aged them, they suddenly remembered their adult life through the thought-process of a child. Over the corse of many years, they grew up and trained hard to join the Marines. Despite the low rank with all those scary men bossing them around, they were Marines and that alone was totally awsome! Then they hear that due to a big scary pirate attacking a world noble, they were sent to that really cool Shabony Archepelligo with all the awsome rides and bubble technology. But then that mean lady turned them back into kids, and the rest of their squad into stinky old folks!
Also, you still seem stuck on the false idea that my anger and our differing theories were related. I suggest you print out this page, cut yourself off from the Internet, and read it repeatedly until you realize that is not so. Only then, when you realize the true source of my rage, will you be worthy of participating in a lowly Internet arguement.

Only when u can cut ur emotions from the internet will you be worthy to argue on it.
Yes you think its possible that its so but nothing on ur pic is a prof so dont put it there as if it is
-
Touche, I suppose.
Holy crap, you're still stuck on the idea that you need to say that? That there's no proof either way is ancient history. Get over yourself.

Hmm… In no particular order:
Capone's fruit:
An interesting ability with a lot of potential. The man's a moving fortress and has many tricks up his sleeve. His power can use normally long range weapons for effective close combat and can pack a lot of firepower. It also has use for storage, so he can keep a good supply of food or hide his treasure from thieves.Apoo's fruit:
I'm a sucker for music-based abilities and he's got one of the strangest and coolest I've seen. We still have so little information about how it works, but it looks like he can spawn instruments from his body and use their sound effects to hit the enemy with an equivalent attack (record scratching becomes slashing and drumming has explosive effects). It also seems limited by range of the enemy's hearing. Lot's of potential with interesting strengths and balancing weaknesses.Noro Noro no Mi:
Another nice and strange one. At first glance, it's nearly useless, slowing things down for thirty seconds. Foxy showed us, though, just what could be done in that time. With the ability to build up damage over time and have it all hit at the end of the thirty seconds could even make a really weak enemy, like Foxy, an intimidating foe.Bara Bara no Mi:
It's such a simple ability that can be used as a very versatile weapon. It can complete many tasks at one time, such as retrieving objects, setting up traps and keeping an enemy on the defensive. It also has the potential for flight, as Buggy demonstrated in Impel Down, where he can go anywhere, so long someone keeps his feet off the ground. He could tie them to his back and fly anywhere. There are many possible uses.Doa Doa no Mi:
Oda did a nice job on this one, turning a seemingly useless ability into one of great strength. The original prospect was in itself interesting, turning any surface into a door, allowing him to pass through anything. With the introduction of the air door, though, it gained the power of a transportation device and a cloaking device. Then it gained offensive ability, manipulating body parts. Too bad it was short-lived. I can imagine many other uses for it, such as spinning parts of the user's body and turning them into weapons.Choki Choki no Mi:
Another deceptively simple ability. Cutting through anything is a plus by itself, but it has the ability to manipulate cut objects like paper, resulting in things like Inazuma's shown us so far. It can create winding stairways or tall barriers from stone and it probably doesn't take much physical power to move any of it, just like with paper. Lots of interesting possibilities with this one.Baku Baku no Mi:
I think this ability didn't get enough time in the manga to shine. We still don't know the extent of it. It can fuse things together, it can fuse the user with his food and it can allow it's user to eat anything. But what's the extent of the fusion? If used properly, the user could eat stone and then turn his body to stone, giving a strong defensive boost. Perhaps it could also be used for camouflage, making the user into a portion of the environment that he's eaten. Lots of cool possibilities.Horo Horo no Mi:
Perhaps the most versatile fruit yet. It has the ability of long range observation, disabling foes, creating illusions and destructive power. Usopp's negativity was only a fluke, meaning the negativity power is still effective on 99% of other targets. It could disable really strong opponents with ease. Who knows what else it hides? If it had the ability to turn ghosts into bombs, maybe they could have other effects on the physical world.Kage Kage no Mi:
This ability works on several levels. It can allow for evasion, switching with the user with his shadow, which he can separate from himself. If the user collects enough shadow, it can be used as either to give a major power up to one person or create a large army of weaker people. The shadows themselves can be manipulated, changing the user's form, which can change the range of attacks. The ability also has a good amount of defensive abilities as well, using a shadow as a shield or enclosing an enemy, for example.Horu Horu no Mi:
This fruit has an eclectic array of effects that can be anything from necessary to nearly useless. It could be very deadly to an opponent, flooding their bodies with hormones that can put them into state's like Luffy was during his healing process or it could just change their gender. It can turn people into giants or it could just make someone's head giant. It can be silly, serious or both and there are many different types of effects to discover. It's almost the equivalent of eating several devil fruits and being able to transfer the powers, only limited by the human body's breaking points. -
@ Wagomu ^^ Foxy is a lazy impostor. His fruit has Hiro Nakamura potential and all he manages is a beam. Not even a 'field'. Or a Noro Noro Punch (okay he's too much of a coward). Also the rigidity of the 30 second thing and that everything is always slowed down to the same speed -> a DF rookie:getlost:

Really interesting post. There's a whole stream of philosophy that relates 'personality' (age isn't a far stretch) solely to memory. That's it.
Add science to that. The brain devolves along with the rest of the body. Certain mental capacities are now more childish, but lets accept the memories remain intact.
So while they still have their memories and basic personalities, they interpret them as children and act accordingly.
But again, I could easily argue this the other way. Easily. The panel just doesn't tell. -

If he trained it better or learned how to use it to its fullest, then who knows what would happen. In his weak state, though, he was able to present a threat to Luffy (most of the threat was his own trickery, but still, had he been a bit stronger or used stronger weapons, he could have been truly devastating).

I don't think he needs to improve his DF ability, but just himself. For example he is slow and rather weak, so realistically if he improved those two weaknesses then maybe that would be enough.
Another thing that annoys me is that he uses weapons, and cheap tricks. With this DF and enough training he could actually become a worthy opponent for the big leaguers, without having to use such trickery to win. Using a combination of strength, agility and DF powers to become a bigger threat is the way forward.
-
^^ I think that if Robin had the Noro Noro fruit she would have travelled to the lost century herself to find out what was going on.
And Foxy was good fun, without the Davy BAck fight we wouldn't have got to see this!!! What I meant was I agree 150% that the fruit is top tier. Even if its owner is a joke.
And aawww snap, the anime screwed us over with regards to Bonney's power. Marines are crying like babies. And Law can't dissect a Pacifista? Where did that come from? His fruit dropped 5 non-canon points.
-
I kind of did my list as one of favorites. By strength, I would probably hold out on saying Apoo's for now and add in the Doku Doku no Mi for its deadly ability with strong defensive and offensive attacks. He could just put enemies to sleep and flood them with neurotoxin. It also aids in movement (venom road) and can easily distract the opponents by causing hallucination and using the non-lethal abilities like tear gas. Furthermore, even if the hydra venom can't spread through the air as easily, repeat attacks could cover the ground with it. The user, of corse, has resistance to his own abilities, so confrontation with a user in a small area would be fatal.
-
Resistance? Nay, immunity. If Megellan had mere resistance, he would still die.
-
i don't know my favorite but I did like moria's
I've had one question on it though…. if his shadow is out attacking someone and the sun hits him would he fry like everyone else
-
He probably would, but said frying takes a while, so he would have ample time to summon his shadow.
-
Well, after 542 chapters I think I can make a good list of my favorites non-logia Devil Fruits.
1.- Nikyu-Nikyu no Mi (Bartholomew Kuma) I think is the best non-logia DF.
2.- Doku-Doku no Mi (Magellan) It's just great.
3.- Mero-Mero no Mi (Boa Hancock) I'm in love with you, Hancock…
4.- Noro-Noro no Mi (Foxy) Suitable for me and my timing... school tests.
5.- Awa-Awa no Mi (Califa) I want to take a shower with its owner...
6.- Doru-Doru no Mi (Mr.3) A waste a fruit like that belonging to such an idiot.
7.- Suke-Suke no Mi (Absalom) No need for explanations.
8.- Bomu-Bomu no Mi (Mr.5) To blow up some idiots.
9.- Doa-Doa no Mi (Blueno) Authorized personel only...
10.- Gomu-Gomu no Mi (Luffy) I had to... -

Seriously? IMO, it was a plus about him. Seeing fights involving pure physical strength can be boring after a while. Foxy was a breath of fresh air.
Trickery and such is what makes all of Usopp's fights interesting.
Shameless campaigning time Vote for Foxy in his upcoming match!
-
umm actually Mr.3 is not that stupid. if you remember the fight from Little garden arc
he was using it pretty impressively. its just he does not have the physical strength that can back up his use of DF fruits, but that doesnt make him stupid.Even Crocodile commented Mr.3 cunning was the sole reason he got the number 3 position.
