I have been trying to download and play One Piece MP4 files to watch them, but for some reason I have been having great difficulties when using them. Windows Media Player keeps giving me the message that it can't play the file because it lacks the codecs, or even when I have the codecs it only plays the audio. If someone could give me advice to alleviate this problem, it would be much appreciated!
Need help playing MP4s

download and install CCCP
next time use help forum -
I am sorry, I figured since this is the anime forum, it would give help on how to watch the actual anime clips downloaded…
edit: I downloaded CCCP as suggested, but now I only get black and white and other weird colors! Any thoughts on this?

installed any other codecs before installing cccp? if so uninstall them all put cccp back on and try again. if not download vlc player and wait for someone with more experiance than me to solve your problem with the regular media players.

If you go to CCCP's home page, they will have a link to "Insurgent" that'll help you detect all the installed codecs, and I think it will delete all the overlapping ones…

VLC is just too damn useful. Use that one. It'll play everything (except Real Media, cause that format was made by Satan himself).

get KM player, VLC sucks with 1080p.

Also, you may want to look into Mplayer.
But like others have stated, download CCCP and it has everything you need.
