Chapter 526 "Adventure in the Great Prison" Discussion

Sorry to disturb your discussion…but i wanted to ask wether there's a chapter this week,or not.

This question has been answered a great number of times already. However, since I'm in the holiday mood:

There is not scheduled to be a chapter this week. It's supposed to be no chapter this week, a chapter the week after, no chapter the following week and then regular schedule.

But…

...in the past couple of years, spoilers for the following week's chapter have leaked 7 days early (and giving us all a 3-week wait for the next chapter instead of 2). There is a chance that that could happen again this year, but don't pin your hopes and dreams to that.

yea i know im just saying on this occassion as a fan of both mangas for the first time in a long time i found the naruto chapter better than the one piece chapter

Now that's out of the way, I really hope for a One Piece chapter this week. Two weeks is murder><

I think people expect too much week in week out from One Piece, not every chapter is gonna be a OMFG WTF ROFLMAO kind of chapter, the sooner people accept that the better off they will be.

Having said that it was freaking awesome to see Buggy again, I am a Buggy fan…

It has nothing to do with bias but with actually constructive reasoning about the mess that was last weeks Naruto chapter. Just go to the Naruto talkback thread. There you'll have a totally OP-unrelated reasoning as to why it sucked.

when in fact i and alot of other naruto fans on other forums (who were fed up with a string of bad chapters from kishi) found that chapter to be the best chapter since shippuden started

I too am a fan of Naruto, but I cannot agree with you saying it was one of the best chapters of shippuden… just my opinion.

thats the main reason why i find one piece to be a better manga
i've predicted naruto events before i even read the manga n it's come out to be true lol (i even had a dream come true in the manga)

but last weeks wipe out if konoha was completely unpredictable an awesome

Same thing here. I thought Naruto was the coolest thing ever until I started reading OP. By the time I finished reading 50 chapters, I was hooked. I especially loved the humour and art in OP. Now Naruto's second on my list. Bleach was good until Kubo got EXTREEEEEMELY predictable with the same formula for every fight. Hopefully, the Ichigo vs Schiffer fight would set things right

How about naruto predictablility in fights, in Naruto he used kage bunshin no jutsu like 329047234683274623874628374 times and then he learned rasengan, then he dis kage bunshin no jutsu + rasengan 349284673298473297 times and then there was a 2,5 year gap in which he trained with jiraiya, one of the 3 legendary sannin and in stead of some cool new jutsu he had to rely on the demon chakra to win any fight he got in because he can still only use kage bunshin no jutsu and rasengan (sexy jutsu I am NOT criticizing. . .) and after all that training he learned NOTHING but he did find the time to learn rasengan to konohamaru who now probably knows more techniques then naruto and Naruto is not even anywhere near the level of Sasuke. . . (don't even get me started on that guy)
Also he gets special training using AGAIN his Kage bunshin no jutsu in which he learns to cut a leaf in half and before concluding his training in which he learned nothing he goes of to train something else. All this timeloss ultimately causing him to be a retard that is too late to prevent his village from being annihilated which he off course can not do because he only knows 2 techniques and I doubt Pain will fall for Sexy jutsu's

I have to agree with you on Naruto being underpowered when compared to other characters. But I think all of that is going to change with the next chapter. If you have read the spoilers, you'd know what I mean.

Anyway, let's get back to topic. I don't think Hancock is going to play a vital role in this arc from this point (much as I would like her to). Most probably, the WG won't even know about her betrayal even after the end of this arc. Also, Mr. 2 and Buggy have a lot of useful ablities which could help Ace escape. And I can't wait to see crocodile's reaction when he meets luffy. I'm pretty sure he'd be badass as usual

I think you missed the swedish discussions a couple of pages ago. Also, it's so easy to get off topic when the hottest topic we can come up with is a 5 page debate on Buggy's amazing splitting power.

Seastone is for me, the same as Blackbeard. And I don't think Blackbeard would leave Luffy extending by touching him. That would be useless, since Luffy can still use his attack, for he's not weakened when touched by him.

Blackbeard's power seems to be different in that that it annihilates others DF effects, whereas sea-stone and deep-water sorts of knock-out the devil inside.

Pretty sure there are no confirmed spoilers out for OP yet. If there were, 2ch wouldn't still be on the same page it was last night in discussion and we would have a discussion thread. Remember, we are usually (always?) the first forum to have confirmed spoilers up, so just sit tight and wait for Battle Franky to open up a thread if / when they come out.

Happened the past two years in a row. I predicted this would happen the past 2 weeks. If the Naruto Spoilers are out that means we are probably getting an early leak of next weeks Shonen Jump… that means no Shonen Jump for 3 weeks once the chapter comes out >.> hope its a good chapter of One Piece and leaves us with lots to discuss... because otherwise its going to be a LONG 3 weeks >.>.

Reminder to people, don't put spoilers up for ANY series even Naruto in this thread, its ok to say they are out but don't even put up spoiler tags for the material, this is not the place to discuss the material. Wait till a spoiler thread is created for the coming One Piece chapter to discuss it as well, there are plenty of people that visit these threads that don't want to be spoiled with the chapter before its completely out and that includes for other shonen series. I already spoiled myself with Naruto so its ok for me, but their are people that do not want to come into threads like this and have it spoiled.
