It is more that they take his scanlations and put their mark on it and get money for something that he does. While batoto lets him get a share.
Thus he wants rather that we link sites that he supports, rather than sites that takes his scanlation and gain money from clicks.

Pretty sure that was already done near the end of Gintama's last run. The anime doesn't follow the exact same path as the manga

Nope, the 5 episodes after Kintama are all reruns.
Don't get too excited yet but I just looked at crunchyrolls listings and it says gintama 257 is coming up next,instead of huntsman classic.
So draw your own conclusions, hopefully its a new episode, as I've been dying to see the marriage interview mini arc get animated.

Honestly, I don't mind that, the longer they air reruns, the more material that'll build up. The waiting will be worth it in the long run :D

This is the material yet to be animated and my predictions as to how many episodes it take to adapt them. Spoiler tagged out of consideration for the anime-only fans.
! Yamazaki and Tama Arc - 2 Chapters = 1 Episode (maybe 2)
Ikkoku Keisei Arc - 13 Chapters = 5 Episodes
Sadaharu-centered Arc - 2 Chapters = 1-2 Episodes
Obi Wan Arc - 9 Chapters = 4 Episodes
Confessional Arc - 4 Chapters = 2 Episodes
Boyfriend Arc - 4 Chapters = 3 Episodes
Excalibur Arc - 3 Chapters so far, so I can't say 'til it ends :/
! And 5 one-shot chaptersThe short version would be that there's exactly 41 chapters published right now, just barely a years worth of material. Which I predict would end up being anywhere between 15-20 episodes altogether. So it seems like at this point, the staff is biding it's time 'til the arrival of 2013. Very informative post. Having see that,I have a pretty good idea how this is gonna go down. Having said that its pretty much assumed that this series will go on hiatus this coming 50 episodes right? Gintama has only 250 or so episodes,they can't run on reruns forever,and I'm pretty sure we all know how long it takes to make a single anime episode.
Even if there is more material by then,there just won't be enough time to make any more,except for the obvious ones you listed.

If they do that, I think this season might just last long enough until the movie's released. Hell, if they had all of these one-shots and arcs animated by 2013 and ready to go, I think it could last until April. That's not gonna happen, mind you, but hey, a man can dream :)

Awesome! This will make the arc even more amazing! Spyair made the second best Gintama ending after Does in my view Samurai Hot made the four diva's arc even more awesome; just like Shura did with the Benizakura arc.

Whilst I am always happy for new openings and endings when it comes to Gintama as they are always fantastic…I wish we got a bit more time with the ending we had during the Kintoki arc. I really liked that.

Interesting to note, specialy obvious in the the Suzuran episodes and Kintoki episodes, other than Gintoki, Hijikata and Sojo, the top tier fighters are female.
Kagura is insanely strong, Kyubei is supposed to be a master swordswoman, both Sai chan and Tsuki are very adaptable assasins Tsuki getting very badly hurt sometimes, and Tae's skills vary greatly with the seriousness of the arc, but is usualy in the strong side. And then there's donut girl, that I haven't learned her name and Tama (who being the only Robot of the series gets almost as badly beaten as Gintoki, but with torn limbs)
On the men's side, Kondo and Katsura are supposed to be strong, but other than a little showing in the Benisakura arc, there's no proff. Shimpachi is always in training. And other than Hasegawa, who's power level is all in his glassess, and Elizabeth who shouldn't count as male.
Also the fact that none of the girls have subreal measures, that the Catgirl Catherine is a 40 year old woman, the pillar of the house and emotional core of the group is Otose, makes me think that Sorachi is very progresive in the treatment of women.
And then every other chapter there's a scene in a brothel or in Tae's cabaret bar, and then I don't know what to think.

Sorachi is very progresive in the treatment of women.
I really like the way Sorachi writes women, especially since he actually unlike a lot of writers, writes them as actual characters and not just woman shaped love-interests/damsels/fanservice-objects/plot-devices. Plus he writes his women just as stupid/funny/gross/strong/weak/awesome/annoying as his men, which makes me really happy.

i guess it'll take a bit for the opening to grow on me because i didn't think it was anything special. i guess the whole hype that it was the same band who did samurai heart kinda rose my expectations too high.
i only got to see a couple of minutes of the episode since that was all i had time for at the moment, but from what ive seen from it i like. (course i would,as i know what to expect) plus i was only interested at the opening at that time as well
