New info…
Now …... I like these designs far better than the Batman Animated influence we saw earlier, but ..... the Looney Tunes just aren't superheroes. They just aren't. And when you try to force them (or their "decendents") down that road ....... they look stupid. Well, I'm just glad that I don't normally watch WB's after school cartoons.

Ha! They had to change the name of Bugs's character because a "decidedly maturely rated product" was already called Buzz Bunny.
And that image for the cartoon reminds me of Reboot, for some odd reason.
-
Hooooooooooooo~? It seems they changed the character design AND strayed the cast away from the Looney Toons. They're supposed to be original characters now, right?
-
Oh, my. At least the Daffy clone isn't just 'Duck' any more. Really not feeling the whole 'Ace Bunny' either. The rest of the characters I think I can live with from a visual standpoint (don't get me started on their powers/abilities shudder at least they did the smart thing and gave the Wile E. clone regen).
Now if you'll all excuse me I feel I must vomit.
-
Why not just make new Looney Toons instead of a totally (crappily) new show with funked-up versions of the characters? I thought those were perfectly fine, before this whoole Loonatics business.
-
I'm kind of indifferent on the new designs. Hell, I'm indifferent on the whole ordeal.
-
I hate Originally-American-Wanna-be-Anime-style cartoon remakes. >< Yes, lets just suck all originality we used to have in cartoons, cram it into a Anime-stereotyped style and give the main characters angst and superpowers so kids will love em. gags And lets give Roadrunner-clone a voice! :o
I'll give it a chance though. u__u I'm not expecting much though, except a laugh.
-
Those costumes look like they've been ripped right out of the Megaman Battle Network series
-
I still dont like it, I was lucky to grow up with Looney Toons and from time to time I still watch it and it makes laght(SP). I hope this gets caned realy fast.

Looks like they have Tim Curry signed on. Man, where has he been for the last couple of years?
Last time I saw him he was playing Gomez Addams from The Addams Family.

**Tim Curry is currently in Spamalot which just picked up Best Musical in the Tony Awards!

Holy Crap, really!? Damn, I need to pay more attention :P
Thanks, normyk :D
-
Wow, this show is going to fail.
-
I dont know who needs the ritalin more: the kids who watch this show or those who thought it up. Regardless, this show is going to crash and burn.
-
Hahaha,I only see that they changed the eyes and made them look friendlier.
I still think this show will fail.
And cosmic dust?…. -
So I'm guessing these Loonatics are going to be too busy saving the world to make any insightful and humorous political and social commentary as their 'ancestors' once did. Those character profiles make me cringe. Danger Duck can toss 'magical energy spheres'. Rev Runner has an embedded GPS. Cooool… At least it will be funny, I know I'll laugh at how they've destroyed these classic characters.
-
The more I think about it the more I come to the conclusion that if they wanted to do something like this they should have lined up the same people responsible for Duck Dodgers. While I have a personal bugaboo about anything but classic Daffy I do find the show very funny and very well done. They manage to respect the classic characters and make the show new and fun at the same time. They could have made 'Loonatics' something good in spite of the name.
-
They made them look cuter, and the show will still suck balls.
Where's that Newgrounds flash when you need it? I can't wait to see this bomb, and if it becomes popular, then I give up.

sigh not again, I thought we were done with this foolishness.
You do NOT touch the Looney Tunes. They are classic pieces of Americana and are damn-near sacred. I don't care if these are supposed to be seperate characters, they are obviously just ripped off the old ones.
There is NOTHING wrong with the old Looney Tunes, they are eternal. I can't imagine kids or anybody for that matter seriously getting into this. It's just an insult to Chuck Jones and his work, a mockery of everything that he has done for this culture.
-
I'd be impressed with Tim Curry in the voice cast, if he didn't already do voices in just about everything in the world.
-
I've heard about this. My friend thinks it's a bad idea, too. She told me that this new, crappy version ruined her childhood memories. I saw a flash movie on Newgrounds that was making fun of Buzz Bunny by making him a hyperactive crack addict, who was telling kids about his new show. There was a sequel with the new design, Ace Bunny. For some reason, whoever wrote it made him a pedophile.
The new designs do look like Megaman EXE rip-offs. Now because of a petition set up by this one kid, this show has been turned into some crappy, half-action cartoon that's basically ripping off of every cartoon that exists.

Couldn't have put it better myself.
Still, I might take a look at it when it gets a UK release just to see how badly the characters are butchered.

This was the flash movie I was talking about. http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/223809
And here's the other one with the revised Ace Bunny:
-
Yeah I've seen those already. The first one is one of my favorite flashes of all time, and the second was a sequel I was waiting for.

**Haha, I love those flashes. I saw them both ages ago and I think they're sooooooooo true. "I'm extreeeeeeeeeeeme!"
Didn't they make Loonatics because Teen Titans (Great show) was getting good ratings supposedly because of its dark elements?
