I used SAL, and for me it was bad luck cos i phoned the post office n asked about it n apparently, customs charges are either, because the sender hasnt payed enough shipping, which in this case it wasnt because its coming from HLJ, or its just random, when the goods come into the country on a ship or whatever, they take containers at random to check for drugs etc,,, and just scan the packages, so they dont need to open them. and im so unlucky i got my ones checked twice in a week :( , so technicly i could go for years without having a customs charge, all depends on weather your items are in the containers they check.
N the charge goes by item cost, so if its over a certain price u get charged more, n i think it mite be illegal to give a false item price, who did you buy them from? cos i couldnt imagine HLJ giving a fake item price, cos when i emailed them they stated that they have good relations with their customs n they do evrything by the book.
It was just a Ebayer seller i buyed from 2 diffrent seller and booth of them has agree with the put lower price value on it and so far i don't have any charge on it ( 2 small pakkage more then 3 weeks ago and the big box more then 1,5 weeks ago ) so far so good.
