@Shin: I get you. There was a hatebase when the chapter she appeared in was released. I remember it and I could see why she could be looked down on, so it's not a problem for me.

I don't bother to scan storyboards, but since I'm not in the mood for finished stuff right now, I'll post this(it's pretty funny). Kinda studying perspective and pacing group scenes. It's only been one day, so give me time to fully learn them.

Thanks Coral. Yeah, that's me though that's just my mind speaking(my actual personality is boring unless I'm around close family).

Okay, here's a WIP of a doodle. Yeah… A doodle that's a work in progress. I want to learn about painting and working with edges. Yeah, it's messy but it's only one brush type. My goal is the finish this up using 4 types. This would "probably" decide whether or not I'll continue or quit digital.

My subject... Oars.

If anyone has suggestions, please give me some.

I like both steps a lot. You have a really good sense of darks and lights for creating three dimensionality. I think you should definitely continue with digital.

@e1n: My thing too. This experiment makes me want to seek out some more textures.

@shin: I wish I had good sense of light and darkness but I think I'm learning. References helped, though that's just a stepping stone(part1).

I want to do those stitch threads over(they are on a layer… easy to erase), but I think it's time I call it quits. I would aslo like to work the edges a bit like I did the hair around the shoulders, but that would take a bit too much time on an experiment like this. Where to next?

Not bad! Not bad at all! o3o I agree with Shinpan. You should definately keep practicing digital coloring. Dang his horns and face are the best. The wound also looks great. You should try doing a Sea King! :ninja: I haven't really seen any drawings around for Seakings and I think it would be good practice o3o

Seaking eh? I should look up my favorite one. One I always like remembering is the one that fell down from the Knock-up Stream.

The newspaper is running my comics agian. I need a new inking style as for paneling I find it a bit stiff. I have no problems with full page stuff , but I'll work on that.

I have been in a stump lately after I found out something(it's a about a girl), and I didn't feel like drawing. Then I decided to do a doodle page to cheer myself up with a nib since I was getting rusty. Most of it is Arlong Park related since this is the most unusual board I ever came across.

Nothing special. Just study doodles. I learned that all solid objects was basically a box, so I tried to implement some of that to seemingly complicated looking stuff. Stuff like Arc Maxum still looks complicated to me, but after learning that box thing, it's easier to see the structure. The problem I have is overlapping without making things look like a mess.
