The episode was good. And wow, that Batman Forever game was horrible. I can't believe the controls for it were messed up like that. Also, the part with the Joker was funny. Can't wait for part 2.

Definitely loved when he's playing the one for the Commodore 64 and he's just like, "Wha the hell!!!?" at punching the guy 5 times and him not dying. Great episode, can't wait until part 2.

Pretty funny lines in this one but I think he catered a little to much to the fans with this one. Maybe if he did it like a regular review with their stuff thrown in there it would of been fine, which he did do, but eventually he just started spewing fan e-mailed insults that dragged on a little to long. Good video nonetheless.

Focusing on the two player mode was a nice spin. I thought having Kyle as a guest was going to just be a gimmick but it served a purpose.
Though I remember playing Battletoads Double Dragon and liking the two player mode. I'm almost positive the same problems the Nerd talked about were in that game too.

well the nerd picked up on the reason I only rented that game once. in theory it's cool. I'm sure, if you could get anywhere in it.

The Battletoads video was awesome. Really like the part when the Nerd told Kyle Justin to go behind the couch. Also, it's funny how the Battletoads game does not show you that it has a two player mode. And wow, the two player mode is horrible especially the part with dying with either player, and then starting back from the beginning of the level.

The Battletoads review was probably the first time I actually cracked up at an AVGN video. I never played 2 player mode, but it was still an awesome game, and I play it on emu from time to time. I couldn't stop laughing at the scene Romangod posted when James and Kyle started rocking out to the pause music.

Seeing this video was interesting as I recently had my first exposure to the game. That exposure was watching Try4ce of The Backloggery (see my sig) play through and beat the game. I always thought the pause music was always a glitch or something I got in the stream.
Either way, this video was great. Better than most of his latest videos. The best part was the groovin' to the pause music, and it would have been even better if this thread didn't spoil it for me. XD

Since I only had one class in the morning today, I went on a bit of a binge and watched a fair chunk of the videos. Overall, I find the Nerd to be fairly amusing. Eery video will get at leas one chuckle out of me, though yeah, sometimes he does go overboard with the skits and swearing, like with the Star Trek, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Halloween. My favorites were Battletoads, Indiana Jones, and Batman Part 1. Some of them made me wonder how on earth the video game craze took off. Man, Ghostbusters and Die Hard looked absolutely painful.

Hey, I remember Flattop! Dick Tracy was awesome, too bad the game is anything but. Not as good as his Battletoads video, but it was okay.
On another note, I loved the look on the Nerd's face in the Power Glove video when he actually landed the jet in Top Gun.

I recently began to watch AVGN. I had a bit different idea of what the show was like but, you know, it's actually fun to watch. Yeah, that Top Gun moment had me rolling on the floor. Power Glove must not be useless after all!

The Dick Tracy video was awesome. And wow, what a horrible game. You can't even beat the first level. It's funny how some of the enemies move back and forth, once you hit them. Also, the ending was the best part of the video.
