Oh I'm pretty sure both kenichi author and mashima can live on panties alone, lol.
History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi

Kenichi's fight is the only good thing happening for me right now. I was still enjoying things until masters Thing 1 and Thing 2 interfered with their stupid backstory of love, betrayal, and Mission Impossible disguises.
-
New chapters out. Kind of want things to progress, everything is still resulting in a stalemate.
BTW, I reread alot of Kenichi over the past week and doing so REALLY clears up the whole mask thing/Kuremisago flashback. It has been mentioned multiple times before and makes the flashback a whole lot better.
-
What a, was that a wrong translation? In the last panel as they're about to engage masters there is written "Stay alive, Ken chan". Why… Just felt completely out of place for me, I didn't even have a clue that they still remember to care about Ken chan in this whole mess.
-
If this is the final arc, please let it end quickly.

HE always cares about Kenichi. Also, fighting masters and stuff, willing to throw your live away. Poepl in manga ALWAYS think about the people they care about in those situations. Fits perfectly.

If this is the final arc, please let it end quickly.
Why would you assume it is?
-
Well this is the eternal sunset in action, yomi joined forces with ryozanpaku, the big bad revealed himself and Kenichi's fighting Yomi's #1 disciple.
And as others said, an extremely rushed arc probably means the series's cancellation.
Even that blind guy joined forces, i don't know what else there's to expect.

Eternal sunset = preface for the biggest threat, not the biggest threat itself. Remember, the previous eternal sunset led to World War 2. Also, Kushinada obviously has some plan to be seen AND it has yet to be seen that Saiga will actually win (might be a draw, might be postponed).
Yomi teaming up with Ryouzanpaku has been done before (on a smaller scale) and Kenichi has fought the #1 disciple before (Kano Shou, remember him?). I also don't think this arc is rushed, not more than previous ones anyway.
There is still much room for alot of developments. Not saying they will happen or that we are 100% not nearing the end of the series, but I do believe there is alot more to come.
-
Man. I remember when Kenichi fought Shou. That was a good fight. I would have preferred that as the #1 disciple fight.
-
There's still some stuff the author can do with the story but if he wanted to end it here he could. It'd just be a terrible note to end it on.
As for the recent chapter I thought it was good. Can anyone tell me where the people allies/enemies are coming from though?
-
I agree that his very much feels like the last arc. I wonder what will come of it.
-
Man, i'm just giving up on this. You had a really nice arcs in there "Tits and fists" but nowadays you're just not worth it. The appareance of older characters reminded me that you're better that this. I'm just gonna keep reading cause i hate myself but i won't be enjoying you anymore.
-
What an insanely intense chapter this week, damn. Mikuno will not lose this bout I feel, but hot damn. This was intense.
-
This is why I kept with this series.
A good fight washes away all the bad writing XD
-
Pretty epic showdown between the masters for sure! Though it was kind of hard to tell what's going on with all those flashy techniques. Weapon users clad in some sort of Ki armor and Kushinada spreading Ki arms all over the area, which will kill you instantly? (At least I'm assuming that's manifested Ki…) Hot Damn! Excited to see the conclusion of this all out battle as it makes up for the stupid Kuremisago flashback.

I think the weapon user used the same technique as Kosaka (becoming one with the weapons). Kushinada is OP as hell though! And the Kuremisago flashback was not stupid, it was a nice conclusion and brought back some good points from earlier moments in the manga. Rereading it, the flashback was perfect in line with what was set-up.
-
Things seem to be heating up, looking forward to the masters throwing down.
-
I feel like I just watched the Gods of Mt. Olympus beat each other over the heads with their fancy weapons and powers while everyone else wondered what the hell was going on.
-
First thing that came to my head when she said Suicide Squad.

This goddamn fight… so intense...!!
-
I understand his ideals, but why do villians constantly spam their strongest attacks like that. Wear them down with other moves first.
-
I'm going to have to read this chapter again with cleaner scans.
-
What i don't get is the usage of this full body thing. It looks like a defensive technique but then this same technique is supposed to bee offensive since it breaks ki.
If this is a touch me and you're dead then we'll reach a next level of lame in this arc. I seriously never ever expected HSDK to fall this low.
The art this chapter was pretty different and nice though.
-
Worst disciple fight has worst masters no surprise here.
-
I think it's a 'touch me and your ki flow will be disrupted and your muscles will turn lax leaving you very vulnerable to attack' technique.
-

That's why i'm confused, generally when an attack is supposed to disrupt your flow it's in an aggressive way as in attacking spots or something like that. And since the manga is still somewhat realistic this technique just doesn't make sense when you think about it.
The technique condenses your ki into one point to break connection between the enemy's points of ki flow making it vulnerable, but now the whole body is a concentrated ki ?

From the looks of it, yes, and this stage of the technique is probably so dangerous he just did major damage to his body. The technique was already a double edged sword so I'm guessing he can't do what he just did too many times or for that long.
-
I feel like the only good thing I can take away from this fight is Kenichi finally incorporating Shigure's style into his martial arts.
-
If Kenichi plays it smart he will just keep dodging Kajima's attacks until the latter's body succumbs to the accumulated damage from using what I call the "Black Oni" Technique (Dark Akuma or whatever his name is from Street Fighter looks very similiar I found). But incorporating Shigure's martial arts into the fight, getting close, reading the distance and interrupting Kajima's techniques? I'm good with that.
-
There was a missing page (the last one). Mangastream has it.

Its the bonzo kamikaze technice! Aint it cool?
Yawn… I wonder when well go back to the Ryozanpaku's masters fight.
-
God, this fight sucks.
-
The problem with this fight is that it's been split up so much, we lost all sense of momentum. And the first bit just had Kenichi take a couple of hits and already declare himself "I can't win!!" as if he hadn't taken much more damage in previous fights and still won. It's just that they're speeding the fuck through what really ought to be Kenichi's last fight, and that really doesn't feel good to me. I guess I'd like it over quickly now that it's shitty and nearly done, but I wish we could go back in time and spend like an entire volume on this fight, at least. the Kanou Shou fight felt like a fucking marathon compared to this sprint.
-
Did Kenichi just take a leap beyond Miu? Bloody intense and this power-up was long overdue!
-
Goku's moves sure are fancy though.
If there's anything that's great in this arc compared with the others, it's the art in this fight.
-
Yeah yeah, let's get this shit over with.
-
Oh please, this is bloody awesome.
-
I am more interested in Saiga's battle than Kinichi's.
It's been 2 weeks now, that the released of HSDK and fairytail was moved on Monday instead of Friday? If it permanent? what about other manga like The Breaker?
-

Yes. This. This chapter is a good one in a series of bad ones.
It's also weird seeing Shigure emote so much in one chapter.
-
Kenichi was cool this time but its a bit sad that he jumped to near master level skills in such a lame fight.
The series really needed more time (and less filler).
-
Did Keneichi just surpass Miu or has he been stronger than her for awhile now? I always got the impression that Miu was the better martial artist. Up until now that is.
-

It's not like he can't surpass her in one field and still be lower than her in others.
And are HSDK and FT release days really changing. Don't know if my life can take such a change.
-
Obviously, but I'm not talking about in specific areas. I'm talking about overall as a "martial artist" because Fuurinji commented here that Miu was going to surpass him if he slacks off.
! But he wasn't talking about in Ki control because right before that he said Miu actually had better control of her Ki than him.
! So if Miu had better Ki control than Keneichi than what was Miu going to surpass Keneichi in? Presumably she's faster, more flexible, and has a more refined technique but from that flashback I get the impression that Keneichi, somehow, is still the better fighter and Miu has the potential to surpass him.
Unless the master was joking or egging Keneichi on, but I doubt it.
-
I feel like the key thing said there is that she's -really- going to surpass him… as in, if he slacks off, he'll get left in the dust by her.
Not a "you're better but she could surpass you" comment, but a "if you don't keep improving, she'll get even farther ahead of you" sort of thing.
(In regards to the chapter, it felt like one of the better ones from this whole fight / arc... although a lot of that probably had to do with the art being good in the big scenes.)
-
That doesn't make much sense. How do you "really surpass" someone without being worse than them at a some point? Surpassing someone means overcoming them. What you're saying is that Miu is already better but she could really surpass Keneichi? What? I don't think that's likely.
If the author wanted to convey the message that Keneichi was getting left behind he would have said something along the lines of, 'You'll never in a hundred years surpass Miu at this rate.'
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
I figure that Miu's grandfather is either saying that:
1.) At some point Kenichi was better than Miu but she surpassed him and now she has the potential to "really" surpass him if he slacks off. (I think this is what you're trying to say).
Or
2.) If Kenichi slacks off the prospect of Miu catching up and surpassing him is really going to happen. (I think this is the more likely.)
-
Feel like it only doesn't make sense if you're taking it completely literally.
I don't think he's really surpassed her (and I don't remember any mention of that being the case, despite him trying to protect her on numerous occasions), so for me, personally?
I'm reading the translation and assuming the emphasis is on 'really' instead of thinking that Kenichi has reached a pretty big milestone off-panel.
-
Looking up the word "surpass" it means to be better or greater than someone or something.
So maybe he is saying, 'Miu's really gonna be greater than (surpass) you at this rate.' I don't know, the wording is a little funny.
Anyway, if that's the case it sits well with me because, again, I always got the impression Miu was the better fighter and Kenichi was still striving to be stronger than her so that he could protect her when she couldn't protect herself. Frankly, even now I hope Miu is still the better fighter because she has been in martial arts all her life, is part of the Fuurinji clan, and still has lots of room to improve too.
-

That's what I was thinking as well.
-
So kenichi has reached laser beam eye level.
-
It was too rushed for my taste.
Still, this is what last 10 chapters of Naruto should have looked like.
