Yo know, with the mangasteam release I just remembered. The cover for one of the few deaths in this series is a mouse riding a tiny carousel. That seems ridiculous.
But, to be fair, I checked out One Piece. The covers for their death with either a duck riding a polor bear or Nami playing whack-a-mole. I don't feel much right to complain.

Kenichi losing his cool like that and bull rushing at Ogata is dumb, Ryuuto pulling a Spike (from Buffy) is dumb and even dumber is that both are angry because Miu got knocked down and not because Ogata was the cause for Rimi's death. Not like anyone cares if she is really dead, but you know what I mean.

Maybe Ryuto's using that Roar as One technique to force himself to move?
Probably will end up killing him as a result or something since Ryuto's already been badly damaged from his prior use.

Now, in Fairy Tail, Ryuuto would have given Kenichi his Ki or something as a powerup, and Kenichi would defeat Ogata in a few more chapters.
But since this is HSDK, Ogata will get tagged (barely) because he wasn't paying attention at all and is messing with them like kittens, but Ryuuto will collapse and Kenichi will need medical treatment again. Then either a master will show up to chase Ogata off, or Ogata will leave on his own because as far as he's concerned, this has been an excellent night.

Well, it's the whole point of the Master - Disciple dynamic. Since they are so low, he has no need at all to do anything fancy and he has yet to fight in a real master level fight to be forced to show a more defined style. I appreciate that at least those power levels are very well defined and respected.
Anyway, was a very badass sequency, loving it and reminds me that this is the reason I read Kenichi, even if moments like this aren't as frequent as I would like.

I'd really like for the first fist to show up if Miu decides to fight and is nearly killed, that'd be pretty awesome, and I also don't want Ryuuto to die since he's quite an interesting character, it'd be a shame for him to have pondered for so long in that wheelchair only to die ~ 30 seconds after leaving it.

Either a master save happens, or Kensei is amused as fuck with all of this and gives them a pass just so they can keep growing. He is fascinated by disciple growth, so it's not out of the possibility that he may do a "mercy" and have it be out of character, though he'd still leave them in a bloody pulp state.

No because I'm only half gay and I get bored of Miu's tits, I don't have fantasies about them or find them tittilating (no pun intended) because I half fear that they would suffocate me. Plus I cannot stand characters who speak in the third person (with the exception of the X-men's Gambit), because speaking in third person is not cute, it is a sign of lunacy. Rimi Rimi Rimi! Oh fuck off you mildly retarded bitch.
As for the chapter itself, it reminded me why I love Kenichi. It's the closest shounen manga to the feel of the Street Fighter games imo. I have other reasons but on a Saturday afternoon where my love of Street Fighter is at its highest, yeah that's a major compliment from me.

You know this chapter is a good reminder of why I love the series, tits galore aside, the writing can get astoundingly good. The series has spent its entire run building up and maintaining the power balance and how ungodly untouchable the Masters are and how you should fucking run if you see one and here it is having our protagonists take on one of the strongest ones there is and still give us an entertaining fight where we're still rooting for the protagonists despite how impossile we know it is and have them actually injure him without compromising all that careful buildup. Goddamn good writing.

It was such a great chapter seeing kenichi and ryuuto team up. I guess this means he might join kenichi. For them to even touch a master is a great feat. I'm just wondering where are all of kenichi's masters. They usally show up by now

Now would be the best time for him to show up. Although, this does mean that Ryuuto VS Freya & Kenichi VS Berserker will be put on hold (or cancelled).

This arc is positively awesome… while outside interferance was to be expected specially when Kensei is whole diffrent level, I expected and feared that Masters would come to the rescue.
! But instead of masters coming and everyone withdrawing we instead get into higher gear and get long awaited (atleast I have waited this since D of D tournament) clash with Kensei vs Tanaka.
! Tanaka appears to have some major grudges with Kensei, this should be really good. I don't think Tanaka have much chances against Kensei but its possible to deliver some sweet hits on Kensei.
! This series is on fire… definetly one of most eagerly waited releases around. -

Manliest fight in a long time, totally compensates for the overlong Mui and Rimi fight if he was using the time to plan this beauty out. Once again this manga has proved itself, in the fact that it can create such a dilemma where you want to support the protagonist (een if you didn't like him before hand) against a monster who he clearly cannot touch.
Go Ken GO!! That's the feeling that tingles throughtout your body as you click the next page and impatiently wait for that slow internet to load the picture.
But you know he cannot touch him. -

his disciples are pretty much done with (lugh got beat, rimi got dead, ryuuto is rebelling, leaving only Berserker who could easily get attached to another master).
he has had plenty of build-up, and his personality/motives have been made clear. It's also late in the game, so it's not like it would be an anti-climactic end.
moreover, Tanaka here has both a potential shot at beating him, and the motivation to do so. also it would make sense story-wise, Ogata's been a real dick for the past two months and Tanaka needs some resolution sooner or later. I can't think of a more appropriate final opponent for Ogata.
Sure, it doesn't have the intense build-up to the inevitable fight that Junezad got, but I wouldn't be surprised if he goes down.

Hum, I don't know. Tanaka is near master level (by what Kenichi's masters said) while Ogata seems to be one of the strongest members of the Nine Fists.
We can expect a great fight but I dont picture Ogata losing this one.

If this is ever the time for a disciple to defeat a master, this is it. Tanaka hasn't been around for a long time, a lot could have happened since we last saw him. Plus this situation is chaotic enough to allow a lot of things to slip by. I'm hoping for it, yes, but it certainly isn't a bad place for Kensei to end.
Actually, this could go either way! That's what makes this chapter so great. I also got a laugh out of the last page. From left to right we have: legit fight, possibility legit fight, and the braw-hah-haha what are they doing.

All of the other fights conclude themselves. Renka wins against Rachel. Chikage snaps and breaks like a fiddle, emembering Kenichi. Mikumo has her dispatched. Sieg loses cooly and boasts to Natsu that Kenichi will kick his ass. Wonderful.

After the quiet fanservice the last month or so, this chapter cranks it up to 11.

Well, I'm a little disappointed that two of these fights didn't have a definitive ending. Rachael ran away while she was losing, and Chikage broke down. I guess we can't see a little kid get beat up, even when she's winning 3v1? It's a shame, cause now of the people fighting her got a chance to develop. Hermit's fight was the best, but that's expected. Also, strangely enough, the fanservice fight had more twists and turns and character development then it deserved.
I'm going to be annoyed if Chikage and Rachael just show up at school like everything is normal later. Hopefully something more dynamic happens.
