Release - November 2008
The debut trailer is out and holy shit is it good! With what looks like a new 'Chainsaw kill tug-of-war' technique added to the game, things can only look brighter as more information is released leading up to it's November 2008 release.
I personally can't fucking wait to put some Torque Bow arrows back into the Locust scum.
Well, it's nice to see that they haven't abandoned their target audience: soldiers who also happen to be football linemen.
Hope they fix the online multiplayer.

I just beat Gears again. It's still super fun and there were alot of small stuff I had forgotten. RAAM is a cheap bitch though, this time it took me couples hours to finally beat him (and with a little luck too

You mean like free-for-all? No. But there's Wingman which has teams of two. Free-for-all would be little silly though since the whole game is build around premises of working as a team.
You know, there's one thing I'm little worried and that's the soundtrack. Gears 1 had a terrific soundtrack but this time they are using a different composer. It's a composer who did the soundtrack of C&C3. And soundtrack of C&C3 wasn't… it was pretty good but not as good as I could had hoped for.
Oh well. Horde mode looks and sounds helluva awesome. I forgot to point out that

. At least I recall having blast with the multiplayer. I always played with friends anyway. So that might have had something to do with it.
A comic and a book tie-ins will be out by the end of this month. I think. I'm getting both!

Yeah, my thumb of rule for all multiplayers is to only play with friends, or at least with people I know. If I can, that is.
That's always the best way to ensure quality of your experience. Because, you know, it doesn't matter what the game is, there are always those who drop out and just makes everything less fun. Also it's a language thing for me. Easier to communicate.
The only real problems I had with the multiplayer was game hosting and that kind of stuff. But Epic is entirely overhauling the whole system. So that has basicly become a none issue.

Lets guess who is going to die! I'm pretty sure somebody is going to die in Gears 2. Could be even more than just one person. You know, it's war after all.

I could easily see Dom dying. Then again that might be too obvious. We don't really know if Maria is even alive anymore. Carmine sharing the same fate with his brother would be pretty cruel. We know Dizzy will face Skorge are some point. But I kinda hope he doesn't drop dead. We don't know much about this Prescott fellow yet. But he is a big shot. So that sorta makes him a good canditate.
