I wanna see the new season of Venture Brothers. Looks boss.

I love it too. At first it was just poorly drawn and kind of just retarded but now its cool story bro.
Orpheus is the best character
wow the ratings just sucked last week. SATURDAY (8/28/10)
#1 KOTH [10:30 pm] - 341k
#2 Boondocks [11 pm] - 327k
#3 Boondocks [11:30 pm] - 318k
Adult Swim has been on a steady downturn for a couple years now. They tried to recapture the glory they once had back in 2000 when they grabbed Code Geass AND Death Note in 2008. That coup was BADASS. Unfortunately that was the last great thing they ever did. Since then most of their work has been laughably p!$$ poor.
In terms of comedy, all they have going for them are the Venture Bros. and the Boondocks. Both of them hillarious, very much so, but when you have like ten other comedies and they all suck then we have a problem. They keep re-running Bleach which, at this point, is total garbage and even if you paint trash it doesn't change what it is.
Strangely enough, the Sci-Fi channel of all outlets has really kicked Adult Swims @$$. When they grabbed Gundam 00 I thought maybe they were trying to capture that majesty they had before. They also grabbed RAVE and Monster just to name a few, while Adult Swim keeps showing the same shows we've seen for what, five, ten years now? Who the hell actually watches Inuyasha at this point? My issue with Adult Swim is rather general. Instead of screwing their viewers every season by showing the same programs at different time, the suits need to pull out their checkbooks and acquire some new media.
Even if it's old, titles like Fist of the North Star, Ronin Warriors, and Sailor Moon lay waste to some of the crap they're showing now.
With rundown little operations like Adult Swim, we should thank bootleggers for this great age of piracy.
I like Xavier Renegade Angel, ATHF, metalocolypse, Steve Brule, Harvey Birdman, Superjail, Squidbillies, and of course VB and Boondocks
king of the hill is funny too

#2: Bleach [1 am] - 439k
#3: KOTH [10:30 pm] - 435k
It saddens me that Bleach could get more views than KOTH.
You and me both.
King of the Hill always stressed me out and pissed me off sometimes. I don't know. The characters were always such assholes sometimes. It wasn't a bad show. A lot of the characters of Ed, Edd, and Eddy pissed me off, and I adore that show.
And I've never watched Bleach, so…

I started watching it for that reason. A friend of mine who lives in Indiana swears KOTH is the wittiest of all the animated sitcoms because it's so true to life about how people really act.
I had a hard time empathizing at first because I grew in a newspaper-quality universe, but the more I travel around and meet new people the more KOTH's commentary really hits home.

It's on at 1:00 in the morning.
Yeah, I tend to be up that late on Saturday nights anyway, so I try to catch it.
People check this out. it answers pretty much every quistion you could have about anime with cartoonnetwork and adult swim and even the nileson ratings. (By the way these are all FACT'S not opinons)

Does anybody here care about these ratings at all
Probably not but im just posting these anyway to show people why adult swim doesnt put more anime on.
You don't really need to do it every week. After months of this, I think we get the point lol

So you guys really dont care?
Well it hasn't really sparked much discussion. If you want to talk about lack of anime on AS, then just do it. :)

alright. well at least adult swim is better than cartoonnetwork.
what were the 3 anime AS picked up? brotherhood, kekkashi,…?
Did they ever even announce the other one?
I'm still betting on Inuyasha: Final Act.
Has anyone even watched Kekkaishi? Is it even any good? It didn't seem interesting in the least, but hell, I've been wrong before…

Trust me, you're not missing much.
Last 20 or so episodes (or at least what seems like it) have been horrendously slow and boring filler. It's been picking up speed with the last two or three episodes, but I'm still not sold on it.
Just read the manga instead.
@Gigglepuffy:
Just read the manga instead.
Is it better than the anime?
@Tamaki:
Is it better than the anime?
No, Gigglepuffy's just saying he should for the fuck of it.
Goddammit TK, will you use some common sense!
ive read about the first 10 chapters of it and it was pretty good from what i recall
For the record, it was apparently Durarara or whatever.
Anyway, the reason I brought this up is that more Morel Orel is apparently on the way in the form of a special.
I thought the execs hated Moral Orel and cancelled it while season 3 was still in production? (Which ended up being the crazy out of sequence 13 parter)
The story I've heard most often is that the execs really liked the show and encouraged the people making it to push the envelope even more than they did in the second season. So they did, went too far, and got the show cancelled.
Apparently DVD sales and ratings for the repeats lately have been strong enough to justify a special; well, unless that entire segment during the Halloween marathon of Frankenhole where Orel came out and announced the special was a put on. It wasn't presented in that way though.
