@Cap'n:
I don't think it's that they're graduating, it's that 3rd year is the last year you can be in a club at Deimon.
Don't Japanese high schools only last three years though? Tenth to twelfth?
I think the Golden Generation still go to Oujou, they're just too old to play.
They played for three years though, so they should have graduated by now. Going by the school scouting reports, Oujo has a school system that is so closely interlinked that attending Oujo High School all but guarantees that you'll go to a university, presumably Oujo. Ootawa is probably an exception to that unless they have a sports merit program, but he's a moron.
Is Zokugaku is the only University team we've actually seen so far then? There was one university that Oujo's manager played for, but I don't recall the name.
@Puma:
Well, as an obsessed Eyeshield 21 fan, i want the manga to continue after the Christmas Bowl, during Sena's 2nd year.
Yeah, I don't really want it to end yet either.
It's just that Deimon High School don't permit students to have club activities in their 3rd year so that they could focus more on their studies.
So it's a Deimon school rule then? Rules are made to be changed.
I really doubt that Hiruma and Yukimutsu need to focus on their studies anyway. Musashi doesn't either seeing as how he was perfectly capable of passing the Shinryuuji entrance exams.
On the other hand, I doubt it'd help Kurita.
So they might as well keep playing.
