Well, I searched for it and didn't find it anywhere, so, sorry if a thread about this had ever appeared somewhere. ^^'
So, for you all, who do you think (not who would you like to be) it's gonna be the "last boss" in One Piece, and why? :)
At first, I thought it was going to be Whitebeard (with a fight between Luffy and Ace)…later, I thought it was going to be Dragon…but, now, my assumptions point out to Blackbeard. I believe I won't be spoiling anything to anyone here in the forums, since the anime has already reached the point with all the information here, but if anyone is not up to date with One Piece anime from Japan (that can be seen even in You Tube, btw :P), beware spoilers ahead! \o
My reasons:
- The story is being built up around Teach's gaining of power, and his ascension to the spotlight in the world;
- His fruit power seems to be really overpowered, and he has become quite a challenge (as seen what he's done to Ace). On the other hand, because of his weakness, the fight could get really interesting.
- Blackbeard was one of the most famous pirates ever, and Oda already declared that it was his favourite. ;)
So, what are your points? :)
