hi, my name's muckamuck.

i joined APforums a couple of months ago and planned to post an art thread then, but i haven't really gotten around it. i know i've gotten a couple of people annoyed that i haven't posted some of my stuff here. actually i've been doodling stuff but nothing decent enough to post.

i am working on something right now, but it'll take me a while to finish up. in the meantime, here are some drawings and things that will hold this spot. if you know me from elsewhere, these are pretty much reposts. >_>

Ho is never a coincidence :D I can understand if you miss Bushido though, I thought it'd be badass with his hat covering his eyes. As for the toothpaste line, it's just a kind of stylistic, experimental thing that ties the drawing back to the color scheme of my MySpace.

sorry, i like appearing out of nowhere. i kinda have this tuxedo kamen complex. lol The GAM flyer's old but it's one of the few decent color things I have right now.

As for the contest, the deadline hit while I was working on the third page. I'm glad I actually had time to work on this thing at all, even if I didn't finish. Sorry.

thanks, but this is just pencil work. XD
i'll be putting the brush pens to good use soon; they're pretty good for calligraphy, according to my japanese teacher, and we're learning kanji.

you can! if you're willing to put time into them. they can take quite a bit of effort. just don't make them everything. e1n would probably pick at me for this, but i focused on them a lot for a long time now, and now my anatomy is suffering for it.

thanks, i'd like to think so, but i think they are way out of my league when it comes to color choice and appliance, concept work, humor, and overall basics. i'm very much a b&w work person and my stuff is always very spontaneous (as in, no base sketch or anything, just drawn as it goes).

yeah, you're right. so what if it's black and white? :)

personally, i've been experimenting with color a lot more but i've found it quite difficult if i'm not using cel shading. i feel more comfortable with black and white work though, so i've been sticking to that more.

i finished the drawing i was working on last night. it's some of the cast of a comic i'm working on:

Drawing Franky feels like a challenge. A fun challenge.

I managed to finish another drawing (as finished as it's probably gonna get). Looks like I'm never drawing right to left ever again. In creating more characters for my comic, a touring rock band seemed appropriate since music is a pervasive theme. So I came up with Fossil Grapher.

おひさしぶりだねぇ。 (It's been a while.)

I finally got around to finishing two drawings yesterday.
One was very fast because I just wanted to finish, and the other took some time.

A swordsman:

! I just wanted to go all-out and draw something badass, which I haven't done in a while.
A deadly, sleepy girl:

An agent with a serious case of narcolepsy. Her worth and ability lie in her incredibly sharp sniping skills…when she's awake. She wields a Yugoslavian M93 Black Arrow, but it's smaller than normal because the original is 5ft/1670mm long and weighs approximately 35lbs/16kg. She is also a big fan of "Bander-kun," the mascot on her clothes.
! She's set to appear in my comic sooner or later as the main agency reveals itself.
! I was surprised at how well her elements came together D:
I guess this'll be my first step in preparing for Oni-con (barf). I planned to get a table at Anime Matt-surly but had to back out because my friend and I need to work on some more stuff. Soooo, here goes nothing.
