This episode was awesome, I haven't been rewatching the Japanese episodes like you guys have, and kind of forget the amazing powerlevels of these Skypeia episodes. The music is really picking up, infact there was a bit more than there were in the last few episodes. I wonder if the 4Kidies noticed…
Anyway,the dub was just a joy to listen to, the new voices are awesome, and I'm really digging Crickets, Zoro's, and Sanji's voice. I can'wait for the next episode.
Meh, something I just wanted to say… CN has an HD channel running along side their erm, "Un-HD" channel, so One Piece in HD has already been established. Then when 206 comes, put two and two together, and we got 16:9 HD One Piece.
HD One Piece on my TV screen looks really pretty. =D

I really dont' know why no matter HOW hard FUNi trys, people are gonna bash it reguardless. Lemme tell ya, I'm super pissed everytime I think about the fact that they hardly edit ANYTHING in Naruto, people still smoke, lots of violence with NO flashes, plenty of blood for anyone to be super happy. And then there's One Piece with sooo many damn edits where a character can't even have FAKE blood.
As far as I can tell, I'll just be happy to get unedited DVD's. I'm sooo freakin' thankful to have a new dub with great voices and GREAT original music that I could CARE LESS about the edits, I know I'll see the original uncut dub when the dvd's come out. So .. there's really no reason to keep saying what they're doing or not doing, the dvd's will be out eventually so everyone will be happy… unless for some god-for-sakin reason you actually.. shutters LIKED the 4kids butchering of One Piece...

I watched that clip you posted, Lobster, and it's a back view of Croc, so you don't actually see Luffy's fist connect.
He head butted Crocodile also in that clip shortly after. (which was left in)
That's why it was left unedited.
Nope, because they left Luffy punching Don Kreig square in the face. And lots of other things, but alot of Cinder's clips are removed.

This was 89 episodes in though…even then 4kids edited out a few punches. Funimation's handling of it was Ok, don't forget they did show Luffy's head crashing through a bar counter. Like what many people said, Funimation is definitely going to cut back on the edits as they progress more. If we imagine what the Funimation would be 89 episodes into the dub, I bet they would keep most of the things.
As of now, I agree with you partially. 99& of me was satisfied but that other one percent still is a little agitated about the edits to the fights.

Dammit, I missed the first 6 minutes of the episode cause I went to the bathroom to shave off a 3 month old beard (damn that was a bitch) and forgot what time it was.

Defintely an enjoyable episode. The only weird thing was that they can show completely unedited violence meant to be funny like the two monkies cleaning each other's clocks back and forth but they can't even DARE show a bullet fire that never gets to connect. They used to able to show character deaths and stuff like this as long as it's later revealed that they come back. Someone could get stabbed through the heart if it turned out to be a shadow clone or whatever getting stabbed. For some reason they cant show stray bullets!? WTF?!
Colleen's Luffy still isn't completely winning me over and Eric Vale is good,but could do better and add some more suaveness to that Sanji voice. Colleen's Luffy actually sounded alot better in this episode since she finally had more lines. Even her delivery of the title was much improved over the last few episodes. She actually read each line with the appropriate emotion to accompany them instead of just sounding generically excited.
Also, it's a children's comic from Japan.

Ouch, that's a bit harsh. The two of them are nothing alike. If it was Bryan, than he wouldn't even say anything about the editing. He would just say nothing happened in the episode, the voices suck, 4K!Ds would've done 10x better, and than he would throw in his little "Phuzz=God" comment. >.>

Ah, those were the days. Damn people becoming so much more sensitive about every little thing. Nowadays, people think that every kid is going to become violent from watching cartoons. I agree. At this point the best we can hope for is they uber edit these little instances of violence along the road to the huge brawls that come later. Then, by the time they get there, CN will have eased up on the editing a TON. After all, if this level of editing is used on the fights it'll be really hard to tell what's happening. Not to mention, you'll get dizzy watching it with all the zooming in and out, and shifting of angles, and crazy flashes to cover up physical connections and anything that could possible cause a serious boo boo or scrape.

Alrighty, awsome ep. I was a little disapointed with how the gun scene was done but I can live with it. It also bothered me how it seemed to cut into commercial break right in the middle of one of Crickets sentences :/. Other then that it was a pleasure to watch and I can't wait till next week for the next one. >< soooo close to hearing Mihawk that I could taste it.

Yeah, I'm black and i love anime and manga…I once went to a small anime convention and wore a leaf village headband.
Doesn't Luffy see the chestnut and then he gets pulled under? But then there was the time issue with the fall song thingy (:sick:) Teach's voice is actually growing on me. I liked Cricket's voice, well done whoever it was. Luci is perfect as usual. 
Loved the crew's voices, they're really getting into this. Do we get to see Chuck E. Cheese slice open a monkey next week?
