Well, since it's revived, I'll vote for Who's Who. I think his design is really cool.

All the Beast Pirates main members have amazing designs,

I also think CP9 designs are great, Fukurou doesn’t get enough love in my opinion, I don’t know why but I’ve always loved his design

I like Kumadori and Kalifa a lot. The fishnet, glasses, and big forehead really set her apart from other female characters in the series. As for Kumadori, my love of his design is because of the design itself and the amazing Japanese anime performance

For current design, i think it's King.

So did Luffy with his Strawhat. No reason, why a character shouldn't hold to an accessory for that long if it means much to them.

I assume as much because he wears it in his clothing in the present story and seemingly exposed as a child and as a buff man. I mean, we've seen Chopper wrap up his hat, but otherwise most personal accoutrement have stayed unadorned. I don't believe there's firm proof any way, and even as a human, he may just have a beaver tail.

The vivre card confirms Machvise is human, so the tail is definitely just an accessory, like Masira's.

Only thing I would have liked to see him train to get back into shape during the timeskip
