my first thread!! I had done some serious thinking on this but i wanted to know if the people of the one piece community would agree with me! So know we know that Luffy's shadow is taken, and i think that his shadow is going to go into that one frankenstien looking zombie that the ol doc hogback was saying was his ultimate creation!! What do you guys think??? I think it would be cool to see a frankenstien Luffy act alike lol i can already see the comedy!

who's translation are you refereing to? in the scanlation by kokotas (translators: maxi and skywalker) hogback referes to it as splendid and work of a genious. not really ultimate and as far as we know he might say that about any and every zombie he makes.
by the numbers theory (the mario on the table has number 741) that zombie would be a regular soldier zombie and not all that spectacular.
also a zombie not specifically adapted to Luffys DF power would be rather useless with Luffys shadow imo since Luffy rely on raw strenght and rubber powers. also if his shadow would go into an unadapted zombie it would probably be an armored zombie since he loves armors so much.
You may be right about Luffys shadow ending up in 741 but i think that would be as big mistake as giveing sanjis to the penguin.

We don´t know for sure if Luffy´s shadow is taken yet. From the looks of it, it might also be that Robin, Franky (and perhaps Brook) might save him before he meets the same fate, now that they no where their crewmate went to.
But I´d actually find it funny if a zombie without any rubber body would try to use some Gomu Gomu moves. That could infact be hilarious.

(either nothing happens or arm flies off hitting someone behind zombie luffy)

Well, this has been mentioned before in the chapter thread.
In any case I agree that 741 seems the most likely candidate for luffy's shadow. I'm rather expecting it to try a gomu gomu pistol at some point and launch a meaty zombie arm across the room after his stitches pop. Or even better, try a gear three attack and just explode!!!
Then he'll demand lots of meat and pass out for a while. It should be fun.

I don't think Mario (The Frankenstein Monster) will get Luffy's shadow. He would be really stupid, and not able to stretch since the devil fruit power's aren't carried over. It would just be a waste of a great shadow and make the plot boring. I believe he will be saved by Brook, since he recently flew into the scene.
