Maybe I'm speaking too soon, but a platformer like that with customizable characters, puzzle-oriented co-op gameplay, and beautiful, fully interactive stages looks really awesome. Maybe the PS3 is worth getting for more reasons than DMC 4 and White Knight Story….

Looks fun but how do you like win or lose in the game? You just travel into a very creative stage and try to reach the finish line or something? Looks fun, but I need more info.

The clip we see there is most likely a clip from part of the multiplayer mode.
The four people have to work together to get the finish line. I'm sure there is much more depth to it than that clip. It does look amazing though, I now have two reasons to buy a PS3.

I saw the demo of the user-created levels mode…..
This has trumped me, I no longer have a reason to hold out for rumble.
I'd buy it today if I could. Maybe in the next few weeks.

I saw another trailer and you can build your own stage. Looks really creative and there's probably more surprises to come. Probably build you own character as well.

I really really like idea and presentation of the game. And the BG song in the GDC trailers is just too cute. But, yeah, it might a bit like The Sims: it's really fun for a short while and then it gets old quickly - I guess it's longevity it's up to you and how creative you can be and how stong and big community it will cater. And speaking of The Sims, this might as well be a new big hit among female gamers.

I'm seriously hyped up for this game. If you hadn't gathered from my earlier posts. The only thing that annoys me is that it comes out in a congested period of games, movies, dvds, comics which are going to leave me so broke.

One of the coolest things about LittleBigPlanet, and this might sound a bit silly, is that Stephen Fry is doing a narration. Now I'm not sure what the narration is about and how much there is it but that alone almost makes me say "yes, Jeeves, of course I will buy the game".

Well Yoska, good question but it's just BG music. After living in Japan, I simply stopped asking myself that question. The random-ass English you hear in songs, TV, radio, read on apparel, advertisements, commercials, etc. just blows your mind.
No one cares about the meaning. It's just foreign and sounds appealing.
I mean, did you ever wonder what they're saying in the BG in Gwen Stefani's songs? It's bullshit.

My fellow Gamestop gave me the Kratos, Medusa, and Minotaur codes already. I called my Blockbuster today, and they said they can sell it to me, but I'm pretty loyal to my preorders and I don't want to have to get the forced path once you go online.
For those people who are buying the "uncut" version on eBay for an immense amount of money, you're just gonna have to get it patched and "censored" once you go online which everyone will do at least once.
Don't be so humble, you're not that great.

Guess who thinks this game DEFINITELY does not deserve a 10? Me.Seriously, this game has so many control issues and glitches it's not even funny.
2 examples of glitches (in the beginning levels):
1: In a level where there is a bridge and a bunch of balls, if you pick one up and drop it, the balls take about a minute to reorganzie themselves making a bunch of random patterns that aren't even connecting before reverting to it's default configuration.
2: Items get stuck ALL THE TIME. and item will flip over on you, not kill you, and you can get out. When you try to go back to the check point, the item is still locked, forcing you to restart the level (the item will freeze in position).
Control Issue:
Jumping into the background has got to be one of the MOST ANNOYING things in modern gaming. First off, the game tries to do it automatically, but fails miserably. It will send you back into the foreground without you doing anything, and it becomes worse during multiplayer.
Having send that, I have only played 4 levels and I am very frustrated.
