Theories That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread

No not at all .
-
Yep and that's it, if he did say that it means he's pretty sure they're dead, no ?
He's not sure, but he thinks they might be
-
So what can this possibly mean ?
-

That they are going to be surprised once they find out that Luffy is in fact not dead.
-
No they aren't
The point is that they wouldn't be surprised either ways -
If there is going to be a timeskip now for lets say a year I'm sure the marines will think the combo attack from the admirals worked and Luffy is dead. So Luffy showing up after a year stronger then ever would really supprise them.
Ofcourse this theory dies if there isn't a timeskip :)
-
The reason first aid was needed in this last chapter was because Dragon was heavily wounded from his fight with an admiral of the time. It was at this point that dragons infamy was spread as he not only attacked the nobles that killed sabo but he defeated the admiral that came after him for doing so. He did manage to kill the admiral by biting off his head in his haki dragon form but the earth logia admiral of the time was able to break and crush a few of his bones thus the need for immediate first aid.
Remember when you claimed the Fire Nation was British?
Yeah, this is kind of like that time. -
Was general iroh lava/magma rage guy
-
Yeah, that was him too.
He also started making these goofy posts in an Avatar thread about how the bad asian characters had to be english people, as if east asians have never EVER dabbled in agressive imperialism.
Japan? China? Mongolia? These names have never been known to conquer anything at all! -
LOL ya I thought the exact same thing but I forget if I posted it here or another forum. But basically I always saw the fire nation as the english with their superior technology and imperialistic natures and yes they even looked rather white in comparison. Earth kingdom seems like China, I mean the great wall had to give it away. Air Nomads seemed like India or Tabet. And Water Tribes seemed like Eskamos at least the southern while the northern I guess could almost be russian. Anyways I think switching to make the whities the good guys and darkies the bad guys is clearly racial.
oh god .

You know.. in a way I kind of would like this to happen. Especially since I'm really on the time skip side. Although, I don't know a a year. Maybe a few months?
Either way, them thinking Luffy's dead, and him resurging could be cool. But that means they'd have to completely stop caring about Hancock, and the actions she took during and immediately following the war. Although this could really be possible, since I'm sure they'll have their hands full.
-
The only people who really saw her disobeying were smoker, who doesn't even like his superiors, and Sentoumaru who we don't really know much about. They could go either way, but I'm inclined to think Hancock will stay as a warlord.
-
I feel like Sengoku kind of had his eyes on the whole battlefield and would notice something like that. Plus, even though Smoker doesn't like his superiors he hates the Shichibukai. So, getting one of them dethroned should work for him.
Plus, didn't she attack a few fodder marines at one point too? Not to mention stealing that warship, and vanishing.
-
Given the results of the last time he gave his superiors a report on a warlord, I'm not sure he'd bother or they'd read it.
As for the attack on the marines, from memory she hit WB pirates at the same time. The ship was "chasing luffy", so she's fine on that score.

When the SH will reunite on Shabondy, there will be a dozen of Kumabots still there.
And each of the SH will quite easily take one Kumabot. Just to show their power-up. -
Too soon for that huge kind of power up

I had no idea I posted enough to be infamous, my god you people have a good memory. As for the other prediction, well the movie almost proved me right, I mean it was only 180 degrees off.

If Mihawk gets the Sharingan then we are all doomed.
…even Sasuke. -
Kuma sacrificed himself for Dragon's sake, why ? how ? That has yet to be explained, but that whole pacifista thing has some air of revolution behind it.
you've heard it here first.

This isn't really a theory, but it doesn't deserve its own thread and I couldn't think of anywhere else to put it.
I was rereading my copy of volume 16 when something caught my eye. On the cover of chapter 141 (Part 12 of Jango's Dance Paradise), there is an interestingly dressed person walking around in the crowd. He looks like an astronaut. I immediately thought, "A Celestial Dragon!! But wait, isn't this 400 chapters too early?" But since one of the earlier parts of the coverstory described Mirror Ball Island as the most popular tourist spot in East Blue, seeing a World Noble there seems plausible.
Or maybe it's just a guy with a weird suit on. :ninja:
EDIT: And happy birthday, Nami!

PICTURES!! I must see!
Nevermind I found it.

That was discussed a while ago, and yea there are high chances that guy is a Tenryuubito since the sun tatoo was already in the plot.

I'm calling it now, Makino has Ace's child. :ninja:

Okay, thanks for the highly constructive criticism. I never expected anyone to react crazily at all, and I never even stated that the guy was a world noble, just that my first thought upon seeing his outfit was that he might be. In fact, I even added in that he's just as likely to be some guy with bizarre fashion sense.
If I were as pompous as you make me out to be, and had wanted to be crowned the new "Nw Foruam King," whatever that is, I probably would've started an entirely different thread for a trivial coverstory comment. Hence, why I put it here instead of trying to draw a ton of attention to something that most likely is irrelevant.
Do you get a kick out of being so rude to everyone? If so, I hope I've at the very least amused you, you sadistic freak.

Couldn't Ace share the nurses on Whitebeard's crew?
Or, is that beyond Ace's abilities…
-
And again that would make her a pedo.
If a woman in her mid 20's has something with a 16-17 year old teenager I don't consider it as pedophile. I've seen bigger age gaps in real life and nobody was shouting "pedo" but there were rather a whole lot of high fives tossed around.

Are we really going to have this discussion. Are you all that bored, horny, and creepy.

Zoro will find Shodai Kitetsu sword on the Kuraigana Island.

And what would he do then? Start using four sword style? He doesn't need another sword just now.

Santōryū will be there. He wont be using four swords, however if someone appears for a fight in next manga chapters and one of his sword breaks, then there is a possibility.

Shanks is now the worlds strongest man.

Or instead it's Shiryuu's sword. 50/50 chance.

While I admit that my last statement comes across this way, the original idea that they would have a child together doesn't strike me as creepy at all. That because I don't consider it to be that different from what we've seen between Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala in the Star Wars prequels, which is what actually gave me the idea in the first place.
-
And we knew what anakin became due to that relationship. If you don't see that as a warning…
-
We are now talking about sex and Star Wars at the same time
I could say something funny If I was wittier -

The Star Wars prequels, now there's a guide to healthy relationships, sensible writing, and good storytelling.

Oopsie, I forgot that you this is the place where people still believe that Oda hasn't lost his Mojo. My bad, won't mention it again.^^
-
Bringing up the Star Wars prequels in regard to that topic is just stupid though. Has nothing to do with whether ppl think Oda isn't at his best anymore.
