Kuro wasn't captain anymore he quit and Jango became the captain.
In the early drafts of One Piece, Zoro was meant to be the bodyguard instead of Buggy instead of a Bounty Hunter. Also assuming that he still was meant to join Luffy at the begining I would imagine he was actually still stronger then Buggy.
About Jyabura… ya I wasn't too sure about that one but I read on Wikipedia that he is the supposed leader. However we all know how false Wikipedia can be so... I apologize for that one
About Mr.4 and Mr.3 I know they werent leaders but I used them to prove that the higher status does not mean you are better at combat.
Even so with BB if he was the subordinate of Ace, we can now most likely say BB was stronger then Ace.

If usopp ran away and hid monster chopper wouldn't bother chasing him, he showed that against kalifa.
Monster choppers energy drains while he is in that form, it is a forbidden and un-attainable by natural means form. He would die if he stayed in that form.

The part Psolaras was refering to happened in the anime. It did not happen in the manga. Also it wasnt Jango it was somebody else on the ship.
Also during the years that Kuro was staying at Kaya he was officially no longer captain. Jango became the captain in those years.

Neither is Arlong, but apparently you don't understand that. You seem to fail to understand that prior to Bleuno, Arlong took more punishment than any of Luffy's opponents. The reason his bounty was so low is because he sucked at punishment. On top of that, he LET himself take blows on purpose to show how strong he was. But apparently the fact that he had no devil fruit, no armor, and no tekkai and yet took as much punishment as Luffy's other opponents up to Bleuno means nothing to you…
You just ASSUME that Johnny meant they were equal in manpower, but that would make Jimbei look even stupider. If Jimbei's men were equal to Arlong, then Zoro took them out while cut in half and with one sword. He'll do the same with Jimbei's crew.
But whatever, it's apparent you misjudge Arlong.

For example, he learned to recognize Soru. But physically, he was always strong. Any of his punches landed on Arlong were just as strong as his punches landed on Eneru, and there were more of them. The only difference is that he had new moves. Rifle and Storm were his only two new moves that he used consistently after learning them. Baka, Windmill, Chomp, Mizu Cannon, and others were simply one-time gimmicks.

People are taking this whole Arlong/Jimbei thing the wrong way. Arlong is a beast, of immense physical power. IMO none of Luffy's opponents to date have had this raw physical power that Arlong possessed, not even Lucci. The problem with him was that he couldn't fight for sh*t, and as a result did not make use of his strength to it's max potential. IF Jinbei has the same strength but has skill to back it up, then as a fighter he would surpass Arlong by miles, and would deserve his place as a Shichibukai. After all, I am willing to bet that in pure physical power, Arlong is stronger than Mihawk, but its skill that puts the lightyears difference between those two. What I am trying to say is skill + strength >>>>>>>> raw strength.
Off topic: I seem to be agreeing with FFA these days (wot is this world comming to). Must try and fix that.

As the series has progressed you can't tell me he hasn't physically grown. He learned new more powerful techniques, but he has also gotten alot stronger.
At the beginning of the series he had to be hypnotised to lift kuro's ship support beam. Later on we see him carrying a pure gold ball on on arm climbing up a beanstalk!!
After that we se him PUSH APART 2 buildings, the luffy from chapter 100 couldn't do that. So he has definitely grown physically, which adds extra power to his normal attacks.
Now I won't argue arlong not being strong, arlong is a monster with uber raw strength. But like bruce lee says "it's all in the technique" strength is part of the equation technique is the other half, with will power making up that non-existant 10% after you've reached 100%

The red book says chopper and usopp have equal strength?!? It has to mean chopper in base form since it is blatently obvious chopper in human form is very strong.
Unlike luffy chopper activates his fruits powers while luffy is constantly rubber and zoro is constantly zoro. But could you post those two pages up, I wouldn't mind seeing their abilities.
I based luffy and zoro off quite a few things, not just the red book. I used the whiskey peak fight, the constant quotes comparing luffy and zoro in the manga and also the jabs and kaku fight, where he dodged them both at the same time with an usopp handicap.

The red book says chopper and usopp have equal strength?!? It has to mean chopper in base form since it is blatently obvious chopper in human form is very strong.
Unlike luffy chopper activates his fruits powers while luffy is constantly rubber and zoro is constantly zoro. But could you post those two pages up, I wouldn't mind seeing their abilities.
I based luffy and zoro off quite a few things, not just the red book. I used the whiskey peak fight, the constant quotes comparing luffy and zoro in the manga and also the jabs and kaku fight, where he dodged them both at the same time with an usopp handicap.
