Well, 42 chapters is a good distance, but not enough to rush things. Actually, when Water 7 began the gap was even shorter - around 35 - and it was amazing nonetheless. Lots of eps in W7 covered only 1 chapter, 1.5 at most.
Anyway, it's funny when people say "oh no they'll cover only the rest of 442 DRAGGY" while we've seen only 3 pages of it. The "rest" is almost the entire chapter.
I'm sure they're filling the time in some way, it's not a hard task in informative/adventure chapters. In fact the Jump's ad for 337 shows Usopp wearing a strange swimsuit or something like that.! http://www.forumsigs.com/users/crossbones/New_One_Piece_Misc/Jump-ad-337sm.jpg

There is so much Filler they can fill into Thriller Bark. (Which if they do, they might as well as call it Filler Bark, Yohoho!?)
Just Nami, Usopp, and Chopper exploration on Thriller park has so much potential. Brook's visit has potential. Luffy, n the rest looking for Nami's group. The Disco Zombie scene could go on for a lot longer than it did in the comic.

Well, they could throw in an actual flashback for Cindry of her pre-zombie life.
I had a dream a few nights ago where Absalom sounded like Johnny Carson's Art Fern. Freaky.

I'm re-reading the Arc, just to get idea's for some thrillers. So far I'm only at 445. So I'll throw some ideas down.
*Brook's visit lasting a lot longer, showing off more of Brook's past, and bad manners.
*The invisible fight could last longer.- Nami, Usopp, and Chopper hiding from the Three Headed Dog/Fox, could have a bunch of jokes like him looking up, and they dispear. Then looks back down, they repear, then repeat the joke a few times, and faster and random times. Or have Usopp break a branch of something to make him look up again.
- Could add idea of what Hogback looks like, and add Usopp/Nami's idea too.
- They could possible extend them looking outside the window scenes.

Imo the episode should be 442-443. I like the cliffhanger w/ Brook joining the crew, but I think the showing of Thriller Bark would be much better.

Yohoho, they could add a little section like the Report Time episodes with a section like "Ask Brook" or possibly even "Shopping with Zombies." A man can dream, can't he? I's never gnna happen, don't rub it in Bakas! I'M NOT CRYING! BAKAS!!

The top half is just covered in shadows.
! Just looking back to Volume 11 it appears their original Jolly Roger had horns and this one clearly lacks them.

It did actually and it's barely visible on the mainsail.
