Yeah that is just a shine on her lip. Pagaya's voice was awesome! I really loved it. Conis's was perfect as well. Also the "fall off" thing made me laugh for ages. I really like all the dub voices now, though through some combination of script and voice acting the dub version of Chopper seems way more annoying than the original. When do we first hear Ener/l/ru/lu? xD; and uhh what are they calling him again?

The first time I heard about Enel was when I was looking for tips on Going Baseball over at Gamefaqs I kept saying to myself who the hell is that (found out who) kept saying to myself his name is supposed to be Eneru, watched the subs and stopped caring after that.

I think I always thought of it as Enel personally but Eneru is fine, if a little awkward to say for the English speaker. Well overall there really isn't a big deal over the name except to probably the people who get all anal over the interchangable r/l thing. I mean no matter which way you spell it; it's generally the same name. The only thing different is the pronunciation.
Actually I used to call him Eneru all the time because that's how everyone called him before Skypiea got subbed. I was just used to it. Then the subs came along and suddenly everyone believed Enel was the right spelling… Personally I just couldn't care less anymore.

I'm sorry, but why is Funi following terms from a video game that was done by another company.
More importantly, WHY is Funi following terms from a video game that approximately 20 people ever bothered playing? OH DEAR THEY'D GET SO CONFUSED
The connotations of the words "test" and "ordeal" ARE similar, but Ordeal sounds so much cooler. Maybe they couldn't get the word "ordeal" to match up with the lips? After all, translating from Japanese to English to match moving lips is tricky business.

I don't see how intelligence quotients are involved at ALL for any of the Priest's ordeals. WTF made 4kids (and now Funi) want to use them? I seriously am loosing faith in this whole "Cartoon Network is forcing them to use it" excuse. Even if CN saw that 4kids was going to use IQ tests and it was in a game no one played, why would they care if they were shown in a new different dub? Even if they did, a two second explanation by Funi saying why not to use it would probably fix it. I can get over the IQ test thing so don't nag at me saying I don't appreciate Funi, ect. I just don't see what is causing them to do use the 4kids crap still. I mean, they did fix most of the Big Bad List right?

Because "IQ tests" and "Ordeals" are what define if a show is suitable for adult swim. It's a silly change, sure, but the original names will be kept for the DVDs, so I see no problem.
Hahaha, IQ test, that's hilarious. Personally I'm kind of past the point where I no longer care about these kind of changes. There's been so much complaining along the way that I've started to just tune it out… besides they might do the thing where in the actual ep they refer to it as something else. I think they did that for something but... I can't remember what. -shrug-
Either way the main thing to worry about IMO is delivery by the voice actors. I mean, you can change some names, lines etc, and those will change the viewers' perception of people and scenes etc (if only a ridiculously small amount), and of course incite the fury of the subbies along the way; but what really makes the overall quality of the dub is how the voice actors pull off the characters. The fact of the matter is that the dub cannot ever be exactly the same as the sub. It's in a completely different language for cryin' out loud. And for those doubting Funi, PLEASE, stop ramming every miniscule change down their throats. Yes, some things are important, and it's important to give contructive criticism so that the quality of the dub can improve, but for God's sake there's no need to be so anal. (...can I just emphasize, this is all just IMO.)
