Phoenix Wright - Trials & Tribulations
-
I shed a manly tear.
-
-
I just finished the game. The ending was great. But, I don't think it was near as good as the ending for Justice for All. Maybe it was just the spoilers I accidentally ran into on Wikipedia and walkthroughs that ruined it for me.
Especially…
! The man that Dahlia poisoned on the day she met Phoenix was actually Armando (aka Godot). Well, I'm sure we all thought that Godot was Armando.

I expected that since the beggining…...
! since it was coffee that poisoned him

ROFL -
Four days ago i beat PW2 it was a good game,My favorite case was Turnabout Big Top
-
Speaking of Big Top… Max Galactica looks like the fusion of Max. Pegasus from YuGiOh! & Hisoka from HxH
-

That was your favorite?
The characters were uninteresting, the circus wasn't fun to traverse and worst of all, every single thing that happens is a damn coincidence or accident.
-
[ every single thing that happens is a damn coincidence or accident. /QUOTE]
Isn't that kind of a recurring theme in the gamesOff Topic (slightly)
But according to Court-records.net by way of Nintendo Power
Apollo Justice is slated to drop sometime in February though it's
not fully confirmed and Apollo's english voice sounds good. -
@Sandai:

! Not in the case of Turnabout Big Top.
! The reason for murder is an accident and a stupid coincidence, the finding of evidence for said reason is a coincidence that logically shouldn't have happened, the murder itself was an accident, a part of the truth of what happens lies within a complete and total coincidence that a cape can magically float from the back of a man onto a statue perfectly.
! It's just stupid. Second worst case in the series -
I kinda liked it, what the first worst case in the series
-
@Sandai:

Case 4-4 without a doubt. It's just horribly written.
-
Is that from GS4 or from one of the earlier games you can toss a few spoilers my way can't you.
-

Uh, 4-4 clearly states that it's from the fourth game…
An example would be that at one point the game designers realized that it was impossible for Apollo to advance with the evidence he currently had, so they had Ema give him some evidence out of nowhere for no apparent reason in the middle of a case.

ROFLHeh. Somebody I know back at school saw the same comic a few days ago. He thought it came from CSI, but I told him it's from PW. XD
To answer the question, I enjoyed all of the cases of PW, thus far. But, looking back at the first game, the cases are kinda dull when you compare them to the other two.

Couldn't be sure that's why I asked, I don't really see that as bad as the occasional spelling error or being presented with a choice or minor task that leads to the same conclusion like
! deciding to let Matt Engarde go to jail or letting him walk. at the end of Farewell My Turnabout.
-

Wow… do you honestly think those are on the same level? What I said was bad righting at its finest. What you're talking about are just minimal errors that have nothing to do with what I am referring to.
-
All this coming from a guy who spelled "Writing" wrong
-
@Sandai:

Wow, I made a single grammatical mistake. This must make my entire argument that you seem to be unable to find a counterpoint to completely void!
-
I guess like Phoenix I'm able to turn things around even when it looks impossible to do so.
My argument was that your example about the so called bad writing in
Turnabout Inheirtor or Heir To Turnabout, didn't seem as big as an issue
as the ones I listed. -
ITT: Phoenix Wright elitists.

Oh wow.
My argument was that your example about the so called bad writing in
Turnabout Inheirtor or Heir To Turnabout, didn't seem as big as an issue
as the ones I listed.Oh yeah, an example of a horrible Deus Ex Machina is so much better than slight spelling errors! What the hell was I thinking?
-
Still can't see a valid objection.
-
Oh, and worst case is obviously 3-4. I prefer my cases over 5 minutes please and thank you.
-
@Sandai:
Still can't see a valid objection.
I still can't see a valid reason to think putting 'a' instead of 'an' is so much worse than Ema giving you the exact piece of evidence you need just because she can. Please enlighten me, O' Great One.
-
Wow I skipped one lower case n which unlike you're righting was intentional and not hilarious, if I wanna use the n or not it's completely my choice, unlike you're righting since you're confusing it with writing.
-

What the hell are you babbling about?

If you were an lawyer you'd be laughed out of the courtroom, even worse if you were a prosectuor.
-
wow, I missed alot. Phoenix fans bashing, me likes where dis thread going. but anyway, I found PW2 to be nothing compared to the other 2, but that is just my opinion.
-
should I start an Apollo Justice thread, or just leave this one for someone to change its name later?
-
I don't see why not since this is Phoenix Wright Trials & Tribulation thread
I wanted to start the Apollo Justice thread, oh well. -
This one could just be made the Ace Attorney thread, to keep from cluttering the video game section with different threads when it's still the same series.
-
Same premise different characters.

Just remane it to the G. Saiban/Phoenix Wright Thread :v

kind of late, I started it yesterday -

Those were some of the most laughably lame posts on this board yet

And this is the most laughable example of trolling Carter.
-
I'm the judge and I hereby RULE THAT YOUR POSTS ARE SHIT ROFL
-
I'm a defense attorney and being the fact that you're a judge you have no other choice but to listen to my case YDH.
-
Sorry the verdict has been read and you're guilty on multiple counts of First Degree Dong Mongling
-
-
And you're being contempt
-
@Sandai:
And you're being contempt
Nice misuse of a term.
-
I was expecting this from Carter but not from you.
@Wikipedia:
Contempt is an intense feeling of disrespect and dislike. It is similar to hate, but implies feelings of superiority/superciliousness. A person who has contempt for another individual looks down (condescends) on that person. The "recipient of contempt is deemed unworthy, beneath redemption. Contempt may be related to feelings of disgust and bitterness.[citation needed]
The old adage, "familiarity breeds contempt" means that we get sick of people and places that we see everyday. In fact, however, familiarity often produces attraction. This is documented as the mere exposure effect in psychology. The exception to the mere exposure effect is if the object is disliked in the beginning.[citation needed]
Nice way to underestimate me…again
-
@Sandai:
I was expecting this from Carter but not from you.
Nice way to underestimate me…again
And so Carter is being a feeling.
You can act in a contemptible manner, but you can't actually BE contempt.
-
@Special:
You can act in a contemptible manner, but you can't actually BE contempt.
How about being a contemptible person.
-
Wow you say you're a lawyer and you don't even know what "contempt" means
not a very good imo
-
Um I do that's why I went to Wikipedia before I put up that version of Contempt
the proper one to use would've been.Contempt of court is a court ruling which, in the context of a court trial or hearing, deems an individual as holding contempt for the court, its process, and its invested powers. Often stated simply as "in contempt", or a person "held in contempt", it is the highest remedy of a judge to impose sanctions on an individual for acts which excessively or in a wanton manner disrupt the normal process of a court hearing.
A finding of contempt of court may result from a failure to obey a lawful order of a court, showing disrespect for the judge, disruption of the proceedings through poor behavior, or publication of material deemed likely to jeopardize a fair trial. A judge may impose sanctions such as a fine or jail for someone found guilty of contempt of court. Typically judges in common law systems have more extensive power to declare someone in contempt than judges in civil law systems.
In civil cases involving relations between private citizens, the intended victim of the act of contempt is usually the party for whose benefit the ruling was implemented, rather than the court itself.
A person found in contempt of court is called a "contemnor." To prove contempt, the prosecutor or complainant must prove the four elements of contempt. These are (1) existence of a lawful order, (2) the contemnor's knowledge of the order, (3) the contemnor's ability to comply, and (4) the contemnor's failure to comply.
The reason for why I didn't use this should be obvious to you.

Special K vs Sandai Mera…ugh.
