Master Hand and Crazy Hand need to return like nobodies business.
Super Smash Bros Brawl ptII

You know, the fact that Master Hand is so influential and important to a franchise, yet he's just a fucking glove, shows what Nintendo is capable of doing.

But you can see where the ideas come from. Hands can do all sorts of crazy shit.
Especially the pistole gesture/attack.
All we need is the middle finger incorporated.
-

It was a compliment to Nintendo. They made Master Hand into a total pimp, and he's nothing more than a glove.

Given a day or two to relive the good 'ol DKC days on Youtube, I can say that I have a few good ideas on what K. Rool's Up+B would be:
- The obvious heli-pack from DKC3
- Use the Musket-Rocket from DKC2 and just have him aim at the ground.
- Have him pull a TNT barrel from nowhere, throws it down, causing an explosion that rockets him up in a hilarious way (those half Kremling/TNT barrels would work too.)
- Have a Klaptrap bite him on the ass.
Oh, and the taunt has to be him firing the musket, only fishes come out.
-
Brawl needs some Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Battletoads representation.
Think about it.
If you play as the Zombies kid you could have the water pistol as an attack, the bazooka, popsicle sticks, soda cans, the flamethrower, and the final smash is a given– the potion that turns you into that purple monster.
If you play as a Toad, you've got huge fist punch, huge foot kick, head butt, down b could be the stick you get from that one generic robot's leg, up b could be the grapple, and final smash could be something like getting on one of those hover carts and kicking people.
Shame it will never happen.
-
fuck Battletoads
fucking
battletoads

Am really liking this one. That would work quite well.
-
Zombies Ate My Neighbors character would be classic. LucasArts would have to agree to it, but was that really that popular of a game? It's a classic but I don't know if that nomination would hold much water all over the world.
-
Other characters that can represent Capcom in Brawl-
Khan from BoF4 or/& Momo from BoF3.
It just crossed my mind XD. -
So the posibility of character edit has become less out of this world eh?
With the Stage developer, and an equivalent to event matches and the break the targets
(even with 5 original for all characters… but trully an infinite amount of them, but I still like my theory that the hardest dificulty, and the next one will still be one for character), smash replay value has become... incalculable, up to this day I still play the original game almost every week, and if I still had a roomate with melee I still would play with it.The main weaknes of 64 was the lack of many stages, the main weaknes of both games was the lack of a good option of solo gameplay.
I have a issue with melee, something about it that didn't felt right, but I can't put my finger on it.
A enormous ammount of stages, an engrossing single player, and the ability to play vs an human almost any time when you have internet around.
Sakurai and the Sora team has done a good (excelent) job covering up old mistakes and shortcomings, but the detail is that even with the patch ups, and the improvements (in a linear way), there isn't something trully "WTF", in the grand scheme of things, nintendo characters: since 64 days, online game: hi 1000th online game, story mode: ummm skip, stage editor: not in fightings but in many games.
The game will be great, there is no doubth, but I want something new and shocking, alas, in this world is hard to innovate, but alas I chose to trust the company who created a plumber to revitalize an almost dead industry 20(+) years ago.

Has anyone seen this yet?

^I need to see that in gameplay to see it work :V

Ice Climber's stage -The Summit.
Yay for more swimming. I really like this stage right now. I wonder if it inexplicably returns to the top of Icicle Mountain (probably). Also, Kirby hats seem to be coming up in updates now.
-
haha sweet this stage rocks with man eating fish :D
-
There's a pumpkin in the first screen and Kirby is wearing a "costume". Happy Halloween, if you care.
-
Wow three stages and stage builder in three weeks and still no norfair or mario kart stage.
This one looks like fun though.
-
The baloon fighter demon evil fish!!! I hated that thing, I guess baloon fighter deconfirmed, unless they give him the eggplant symbol.
-
Balloon Fight fish!! Nice!
A definite improvement over the last Ice Climber stage.
-
Great stage for the Ice Climbers i like the fish
-
ahaha BALLOON FIGHT
That's what made the stage for me, honestly.
-
a great improvement from the last ice climbers level, that's fer sure. -_-'
-
love the stage development.
-
Can this mean Balloon Fighter is going to be part of the IC franchise?!
Sarcasm…
And notice the jack-o-lantern there. Happy Halloween! BTW, do you remember one of the beta levels found in Melee called Ice Top, only accessible through Action Replay? Could this level originally be the fabled Ice Top?
-
I do hope this means you'll be able to get some Balloon Fight music to go with the stage.
Or hell, how 'bout a Balloon Fight stage itself?
-
ahaha BALLOON FIGHT
That's what made the stage for me, honestly.
Hahaha, I didn't notice that until you pointed that out.
Cool update. Looks like another fun stage.
-
Love the Balloon Fighter reference! Awesome stage.
-
Only I can decipher the hidden meaning in this global warming themed level.
Great update, here's hoping that the vegetables can be thrown like other items.
-
Right now, I'm thinking the Mario Kart level was scrapped. Haven't seen a thing on it since a relatively early trailer.
Nice stage though. Since I'm not old school enough, I did not get the Balloon Fighter reference. Too good though.
-
Hey, I know this question is a little late, but I got my Wii hooked up to the internet recently, so I need to know what you guys think.
My Wii uses a LAN adapter to connect. Will that still work with the Wi-Fi play for Brawl? Or would I need to use something else?
As for the update, the stage looks like fun. And technically, you could call it a moving stage. Would you need to beat up the polar bear to keep the stage from sinking?
-
@Kitsu:

Yes.
All you need is an Internet connection for Nintendo Wi-Fi, whether it's through an ethernet cable or wireless router. Wi-Fi doesn't necessarily imply 'wireless.'
Moreover, the lag is always going to be less severe on a wired connection, so, unless there's just no way to do it in that person's home, everybody should invest in hooking up their Wii via a LAN adapter.
-

It is possible, but it is more likely that the whole thing is that he is showing 1 stage per franchise for now.
-
Yeah, except there's no real reason to take it out. Especially since it looked really fun.
-
I'm waiting to see how they handle the DK levels.
Having two jungle levels for a franchise that a made a point to include as many environments it could was retarded.I expect Gangplank Galleon, which would up chances of K.Rool.
Though the carnivals and bee hives from DKC2 would be awesome..
Or the factories from DKC1…
Or...something from DKC3?.....Anything but "lol jungle 1 and 2".
-
DKC1 Factory level with flaming oil barrels and floating tire platforms.
Dumb Drum falls down occasionally, causing tremors.
-
Stage banned due to too many barrels
-
Stage banned because Fox cannot grasp ledge when ledge ignites in flames.
-
Hopefully, the fact that we'll be getting Stickerbrush Symphony [Bramble Blast] as a song means we'll be getting a DKC2 stage. If so, it'd be hard pressed for it to be a jungle level, since there were very few in that game.
There were two or three in the Lost World, but that was about it.
-
they always seem to pick the most unispired Jungle levels aswell
Treetop Town and Barrel Canyon Blast please, or a Mine cart level
-
Minecart level might be interesting, but it sounds like it would be pretty much how Big Blue was.
Out of anything from DKC I'd like to see the treetop villages.
-

Delfino Plaza also has New SMB music, SMW music, and the SMB Castle theme, so music from games in a franchise doesn't necessarily mean a stage from that game will be in.
-

Yeah, that's why the "maybe" was thrown in there. It's the most popular of the three Donkey Kong Country games, so the odds are good, anyway.
-
my favorite levels on SMBM was Hyrule Castle, Pokefloats, The Mario Ship one, and Big Blue
-
Meta-Knight's Final Smash, nothing we didn't already know.
-
Well, it was bound to happen eventually, I guess. Kind of boring, though.
-
Still nice to get the name, and a real good look at it. As I understand it Galaxia is the name of his sword.
-
Strange we got Meta Knight's Final Smash which is cool but normally we always get new character updates on the first day of the month
-
Other than the little tidbit about how you HAVE to hit somebody else with your cape for the Final Smash to take effect, Nothing special really. Ah well, theres always tomorrow.
-
Wow, what an awful name for a Final Smash. Or for anything.
