1. It will never be good because fans will never allow it to be good.
I think there will be endless comparing of it to the series and with so many characters and so many opinions it's basically a writer's fucking nightmare to try and make something that would please anyone.
2. They'd have to throw more money than Transformers at it for it to look halfway decent as we can all imagine it and…..that isn't going to happen.

If this movie comes into being, Japan will never let America handle anything again. Godzilla almost caused that to happen, but this will make it happen.
Transformers appealed to people because they're fanbase was all "FUCK YEAH ROBOTS KILLIN SHIZ" but with DBZ, that kind of storyline won't be well appreciated.
Partially because this movie probably will have rare occasions of actual fighting.
I'd go see it with friends just for the laughs.
Can't wait to see "DBZ LIVE ACTION MOVIE: THE VIDEOGAME" either.
Not to mention the soundtrack and novel adaption.

Honestly, that boxing charade made me respect Boll a little. Hilarious.
What's even funnier about the whole thing was he was supposed to fight Seanbaby for a publicity stunt/promo on G4 or something, but apparently because he's retarded and people on TV look small he thought Seanbaby was a midget. He requested information on Seanbaby's height, weight, and fighting experience (Seanbaby has apparently trained in Brazilian Jiujutsu), and afterward quickly declined to appear on the show.

I hate DBZ, but me saying the movie is going to be retarded or stupid is silly of me. I dont know any of the techincal details, so how can I judge it? I find it odd.
We know the director.
We know its by a western studio etc. thus making it 75% probable it will be through the dubbie "Dragonball who?" lens.
We know how difficuilt to convincingly make non-laughable special effects will be.

"Postal" is going to be one hell of a film. "Uwe Boll may be an infidel, but he made a very good movie!"
"Dungeon Siege" doesn't look that bad … though I hate Boll because he made this horrible adaption of "Alone in the Dark", one of my all time video game favorites.
The Only way they could make the Movie work is if they changed enough elements to make it work in Live Action. But they COULD pull it off. Now, that doesn't mean they WILL.
It could easily turn out to be just as bad (or Worse) than the Dragonball Live Action movie that was made in China a while back.
Either way, I'll still see it, as it'll either be done right (Slim chance, but it could happen) and it will be quite the awesome, or it will be horrible, but will most likely be the Funny-Horrible, and I'll get a good Laugh out of it

I used to see VHS fansubs of it with the DBZ fansubs at my comic book store, but I never felt like paying $5-$10 (or however much they costed) to see it. It looked pretty funny though.

There is another live action Dragon Ball movie out there that's based on Goku's earlier adventures. There's an actual attempt at getting the actors to dress like their manga counterparts and Yamcha has a stuffed Puar, smoking a cig, on his shoulder but it still looks like ass.
