Wait, how did Jigoro get a hold of three swords? Did he just take them from Zoro's body?

what do you mean, Zoro only has 2, and they don't even look alike
-
Well then, does that mean that Jigoro has ALWAYS used three swords?
-
@Impel:

Well, where did any of the other zombies get there swords for that matter? Moria's a schicibukai, I'm sure he has plenty of sources.
-
Well, the knights already had swords and shit, but I doubt any of them would need/use three save for Zoro.
-
@Impel:
Well then, does that mean that Jigoro has ALWAYS used three swords?
Possibly. Maybe Jigorou was a Santoryu user before he died, or it may be just because of the transfer of Zoro's personality/abilities. That is considering that abilities do transfer along with personality (well I guess so since Zomji fights with his feet). But anyway, a lot of this still isn't clear yet. This is speculation upon speculation.

So, in light of ALL the generals, I think that Thriller Barque will have two major fights. One, going on now, where the MWs fight the generals and Luffy fights Moria and loses, but gets the shadows back somehow. Then, Moria chases them, and they have another fight with Absalom, Perona, and Hogback, where Luffy beats Moria.
-
I think I know how the zombies can be destroyed! The stitches! Ripp the stitches out and the zombies will crumble! Chopper will find such a weakness using Brain Point.
I think we will indeed have two sets of fights, but one of them will be for the weak trio + Robin. With their unconvencional area attacks, these four Strawhats can really shine on this arc. They'll save the others at the last minute, when the strongest zombies are almost catching them, and then we will have the standard one-on-one final fights.
The final fights I bet some will be:
Luffy vs. Moria (so that they can recover their shadows).
Zoro vs. Ryuuma (fight of legendary swordsmen)
Sanji vs. Gigoroh of the Wind (so we have a Sanji vs. Zoro fight of sorts)
Usopp vs. Legendary Gunslinger ZombieThe others I don't know. Chopper vs. Hogback will happen, I think, but not on the final match-ups. Same for Nami vs. Lola. I think either Franky or Robin will fight be big long-beraded armor-clad elephant-centaur General Zombie. There's also the question of which zombie will get Luffy's shadow. And, since I think Franky will be captured as well, I hope his shadow goes to "Mario" (I wanty a Zombie who feels SUPEEEER!!!)
-
If Sanji is fighting Jigoro, how can Zoro fight Ryuuma?
-
I think the Strawhats are just imprisoned. Brooke and the old man have shown that, despite losing their shadows, they can still function normally. I think the Strawhats will only recover their shadows after Luffy defeats Moria. So, it is very possible that we can have Sanji vs. Gigoroh while Zoro fights Ryuuma.
-
So, Zoro's body is wandering around somewhere?
-
I don't think it is wandering around, but imprisoned somewhere. Just like Sanji. Just like Luffy (who we saw being captured!). Probably Moria just takes their shadows, make new zombie servants, and plan to give them to the government for their bounties.
I think Usopp & Co. are going to free them, and then they'll fight, shadowless but not otherwise restrained. Luffy will defeat Moria and recover their shadows by the end of the arc.
-
Or, he sees that they have bounties, which means that they are strong, so their shadows will make strong zombies! That's why Zoro was in a ZG!
-
@Impel:

Then why would Sanji's be on a penguin?
-
His bounty is lower than Zoro's, so he isn't a general.
-
Isn't Perona headed for the Thousand Sunny and take the Straw-Hat's treasure?
My theory. Everyong and everything wil be settled and while Perona wasn't looking and they sail off with her not knowing that the story arc finished.
And instant new nakama!
-
^lol yeah she would freak out then
-
@Impel:

No! Moria didn't know Sanji had a bounty because Sanji's wanted poster has no picture of him!!
Oda, you're a genius.
-
They had the bounty posters packed all for the SHs. The difference between Usopp and Sanji is quite clear, right?
Taking it Franky might be left out not been known as a SH, he is difference enough from Sanji too. -
That's why Cindry didn't let Usopp in, because he doesn't have a bounty, technically.
-

Oh man, you're right! It's all coming together!!
-
@Mr.:
Oh man, you're right! It's all coming together!!
but what about the "pet" chopper then? he doesn't have a bounty as such either.
-
but what about the "pet" chopper then? he doesn't have a bounty as such either.
Well, that all depends on how much these people value 50 berries over 0 berries.
-
Yeah, chopper would make a good butler.
-
Or just a pet with 16 characters.
-
Or the ship's cotton candy maker.
-
More like eater.
-
I'm sure they could find out he's a doctor and he could assist Hogback.
-
hogback already knows chopper is a doctor. remember their little conversation at the dinnertable?
aswell as they already know everyone in the SH crew since perona was scouting their ship, and since the wanted posters = the number of crew members i think they can deduct who sanji is too.
-
Oh yeah. Well then, he will become the new Cindry.
-
@Mr.:
Robin vs. Perona- Obligatory catfight.
Man, that would be so hot.
-
After the revelation that Sanji will (probably) stay unconscious for three days, I felt a prediction that Usopp will fight with Absalom, since Absalom's mysterious power is similar with shooting.
-

I'm not too sure about that.. see, Brooke said they had hope. So they have hope if they come back to the ship.
He also said they can wake up their nakama and strike, so they probably are normally unconcious, something a little chill in the water can solve. :D -
I'm glad this thread got bumped so I can gloat over being right about Brooke vs. Ryuma. :D
While downplaying everything I was wrong about.
-
Though it appears unlikely at the moment, IĀ“m still hoping for Zoro against Ryuma. Hey, people also told me that I was a fool to expect to see Sanji against Jabra after Sogeking entered the wolf room so there is hope. :P
-
Judging on how we saw Moria ow, i think Moster Chopper could be about the same size as himā¦ maybe bigger
-
It seems to me that we will see the Weak Trio vs. the Mysterious Three: Usopp vs. Absalom, Chopper vs. Hogback & Cindry, Nami vs. Perona. That may change, however. This arc is very unpredictable.
-

That's true. It's possible that Ryuma's body is too strong for Brooke to handle, and after being squarely beaten, Zoro comes to the rescue or something.
Coward trio vs the zombie generals would certainly be interesting, but I think Oda still has some other things planned for this arc.
-
I don't know, Zoro vs. Jigorou sounds more likely. Imagine Zoro fighting against his own styleā¦
-
dogpen is as stong as a zombie general and his flesh is weaker then sanjiā¦
i dont think any ordenary ZG is going to be a problem for any of Luffy, Zoro or Sanji. Jigoroh doesnt strike me as beeing exceptional.
And i dont think Luffy is going to fight Moria... Luffy usually fights the strongest advesary not the leader (as shown by the EL arc). Moria doesnt strike me as particulary strong fighter. he may have tricks that makes him the most suited to lead but i cant see him as a top class fighter. (for example Perona could probably win quite easily by subdueing Moria with the negative ghosts, but she cant really controll him and she needs him to create "cute" zombies... besides Moria isnt cute enoguh to be her subordinate)
I somehow imagine it will be Brook that will be the one beating the crap out of Moriam, like how Franky and Robin were the ones beating the living crap out of Spandam in "their" arc. Brook has imo the biggest grudge against TB.
-
That sounds a bit absurdā¦ If Moria is that weak then why he have a so high bounty? We even don't know how he fights yet.
-

Aye. All Crocodile did first was to dry some stuff up.
I'm pretty confident that Moria should be able to pull off a whole lot more. And hopefully that he fights with those scissors. ><
-
how weak is "that weak" ? all i said was that i didnt think he was the strongest in TB.
-
Prediction time!
Yes, the monster trio is out of comission for the moment, but I can't see Oda completely leaving out his three most popular characters for the entirety of a story arc. My guess is that Robin, Franky, and Brook will manage to purify Sanji and Zoro's zombies somewhat early on, and Sanji and Zoro will join those three against fighting the generals.
I'm thinking that the weak-weak trio is going to eventually face off against the Mysterious Three. Usopp vs. Absalom, Nami vs. Perona, and Chopper vs. Hogback. My impression of Moria's lieutenants is that they aren't terribly strong fighters, but rather have powers over zombies and specialized abilities (Hogback's medical skills, Perona's negative ghosts, and Absalom's invisibility). I can definitely see an Usopp vs. Invisible Absalom fight with Usopp having to use some kind of wacky trickery to win out.
After the generals, Zoro, Sanji, Robin, Franky, and Brook will attempt to take on #900, only to end up losing badly. #900 will utterly own everything for a couple of days, with most of the strawhats on the run, until Luffy finally wakes up and channels his shonen rage to get his shadow back. Then we'll see this arc conclude somehow, and Brook will join up with the Mugiwaras.
That's my theory, and I'm sticking to it. Of course, Oda's probably going to do something completely and utterly different, but it's all good.
-

He defeated 7000 pirates in his day.
Either way, they're going to have to fight the Zombie Generals to get their shadows back.
I guess we don't know what happened to Dogpen, do we? We saw Absalom either kill it/knock it unconscious, but it's not clear what happened to the shadow afterwards.
-

Well, Absalom didn't purify Dogpen, so it's probably just unconscious. It's not like he can destroy the shadow inside it.
I seriously hope the monster 3 take a backseat and give the others a chance to fight. Although I'm about 90% sure that Luffy's shadow (as Oz) will go on a rampage and tear the place up.
-

How many Marines did Luffy defeat at EL? dont think 7000 during a whole lifetime in Odaverse is that much to brag about if it is just cannon fodder pirates.
(what i meant was exeptional for a ZG not exceptional compared to canonfodder)

Well, the marines in EL were all cannon fodder, too, and I think it was only 5000 marines. I'll have to go check the script.
-
The way he was introduced implied his body is strong, in my opinion. If he weren't Monster Trio strongā¦ hmm...
Wouldn't Jigoroh vs. Franky be kind of an interesting fight? Since the front of Franky's body is metal, and Jigoroh, as a swordsman, is against attacking from the rear.
-

He's not against attacking from the rear, he was just quoting what Zoro said to Mihawk when Mihawk was about to slash his back.
As for whether Zoro would care about dishonoring someone, wellā¦
