I don't mean to be a fanboy about this, but honestly, how can the the sixaxis be considered more innovative than the wii remote? It's the same shape as the dual shock, doesn't have rumble (even though the 360 controller and wii remote do), and has inferior motion detection. I'm sure it works fine for what it's intended, but I really don't believe this.
Sony 'wins' an emmy
-
-
I'm pretty sure the Wiimote has won way more awards than the Sixaxis, so I wouldn't let it bother you too much. It's like 1 out 10 in favor of Nintendo. Still, finally some positive Sony news.
-
Lame.
This is the first time I've ever heard the PS3 controller called anything but a "PS3 controller". I didn't know it had a name. I also didn't know there was an Emmy for techology.
-
….Are these guys on drugs?
-
Piffle! That's the Golden Globe of video game awards! I told you I want an Oscar.
-
Sony was the only one that was entered
Nintendo didn'tThey won by default
however if the Wii's controller was entered, and it lost, THEN i would be kinda peeved

Bingo, we have a winner.
-
However, i highly doubt Sixaxis would of walked away with the award if Nintendo had of entered..
maybe they found out it was the emmys
BUH-DUM p-ISH
-
What a waste of an award
-
Give Sony some props for bribing the judges. Remember, a lot of money can make anything happen.
-
This just in:
who cares.
It's an Emmy….for....a game innovation?
Are you saying you wouldn't be blatantly insulted if Nintendo won?
-
Bad show, Sony. Lies = no-no. I am ashamed to be a Sony fan right now.
-

Yeah, it's pretty sad. I didn't even know that Emmys gave out awards for this type of stuff. Did the video game industries recently make a category just to get a mediocre award?
-
Didn't Sony just rip the axis thing from an old Kirby game? Then again, I could be wrong.
-
I believe the category is 'innovation in technology' and since it's an Emmy I suppose that limits it to entertainment technology.
I personally am still of the belief that neither Nintendo or Sony have produced anything unique or innovative yet. I nominate my Fujifilm Finepix which made me look like freaking Brad Pitt in a picture I took of myself moments after I woke up.

No one ripped anything. It's all slightly different spins on existing technology.

Sony does NOT lie, They simply Forget to tell the truth

Nintendo's internet fans' tits jiggle with rage and confusion

@Cap'n:
Nintendo's internet fans' tits jiggle with rage and confusion
So by your reasoning, Sony and Xbox fans are skinny and in perfect shape, next to Nintendo fans? Right another logical issue de-mystified by Cap’n Carter.
So did any other gaming companies submit items for voting by the Expo? Or was Sony the only one that felt like reaching out.
-
Not this again GSR. Carter did not say the things you put down, he in his own way, was trying to make a point. I believe Carter was referring to everyone getting worked up over something so significant as this.

I'm not starting anything, except being just like Carter and making lame attempts at topics.
In addition I actually posted a serious comment after my original question.
-
Actually, you should read Carter's post, he just hates fanboys in general, (assumption) And he's right, this is nothing to get worked up about
Considering, they were the only ones that actually entered, and just Warped the truth

Sony deserve nothing, but a kick in their arse. Where's Dark_AleX's emmy for hacking their PSP to shreds, uh?
