@dameon_reaper:
I don't like the anime as much as the manga but I still like the anime, even if its still not as good….the fact that someone hasn't even joined yet, at the point he was supposed to, gives a turn off.
I'd probably like the anime more if it didn't cut out entire arcs (well, one so far), and generally cut out/rearrange scenes so that they lose all of their importance, contradict itself, have crappy art and lazy animation, stupidly edit some content in near-4Kids ways and just look retarded in comparison to the manga. But it does. So… yeah.
It's one of my secret shames that for a while I relied on the anime for the series. From around the second half of volume six (oh, wait a second, that game got taken out completely) to the end of the Death March, I didn't read the manga and just watched the anime. Then I realized how awful it was in comparison and swore it off. After hearing about the whole Musashi/Seibu thing, I don't regret it.
The worst part is that I was keeping up with the official English manga release at that point, and had I waited a couple more weeks I could've bought volume 7 and not have had the entire Musashi scenario ruined for me.
@dameon_reaper:
actually, did the Bando spiders play at a different time in the anime cause when I saw, he still didn't join in the anime, unless I'm wrong, then thank the lord…
Looking at episode titles, it appears that it took place in the same place as it did in the manga (I don't see where else they could fit it in, anyway). "The Truth of Red Pupil" comes right before "Run! Musashi!," and since Musashi doesn't have a position on the team that involves running I suppose that refers to him coming back to the team.
! What I would like to know is how the hell the second half of the Seibu game went without Musashi, since his return was the main reason they didn't get completely killed.
