the future rise of the new religion!!

Official Article to support evidence if any doubters here.
I don't know wth is going on but…the first image you linked to isn't working. XD
Arabs protesting against something Japanese-related is beyond me.
EDIT: sarcasm
There were child murders in Gaza and the little girl is holding up a poster that says, "Spare the Children". Haruhi is obviously being depicted as a child; it's actually rather poignant and moving, but all the weeaboo are fussing over is the "spread" of Haruhi to the Middle East.
Yeah, really impressive dipshacks.

posting stuff like that without even trying to understand what's going on is also beyond me.
EDIT: oh, my bad.
HARUHI IS OUR GOD NOW
thus begins a new holy war

Fuck XD! My mistake, and I was one of those weeaboo. Oh well.

that's it, I have to result to putting down a sarcasm everytime I try to joke.

No, you're not. If you didn't know about what the poster said, it's understandable that you would react to Haruhi's depiction; I'm talking about the people who said, "who cares about death in the Gaza Strip? Haruhi's influence is growing!"
Oh, that's watcha meant.
December 22, 2006 is Judgement Day as the mysterious US Haruhi site in this blog states..Haruhi will be lisenced that day, its not a matter of fucking time.
http://www.darkmirage.com/2006/12/21/north-america-haruhi-site-updated/
I'm gonna die. I am seriously gonna die. That was the most entertaining night EVER. GOSH, that marketing was "MAXIMUM"!
…
Win win win win win.
...
Post scriptum, Bandai + Kadokawa are working together on this. Not a bad choice, I would say.
just for this, the us site is awesome:
Bandai + Kadokawa
This'll be good, I agree. Haruhi is coming to the USA officially ^^ More Haruhists to increase since the rise of Narutards hence the Naruto dub XD
Dear folks,
If you want to see the Haruhi manga and novels published by a good company that is not VIZ Media, please register here and vote your support for a license.
They're the only company ballsy enough to go and purchase light novel rights as a serious product, and they have a great relationship with their fans.
Dammit, its licensed. I was looking forward to fandubbing it one day. ><
Guys seen the video on the official american website? I'm watching it now…this is the horror of cosplay, people.
i did not expect bandai…when i think of bandai...i think of mecha...

Bandai isn't doing the dubbing productions, they're just the ones who distribute it while Kadokawa does the actuall dubbing.
No, Bandai is doing the distribution, but the dubbing will be assigned to a recording studio; hopefully it's Animaze.
Animaze FTW ^^ Yeah, that studio is good.
Hey folks, check out auditions for Mikuru and do not forget to vote.
…
After listening to a couple of them I, uh...feel a bit weird. :wassat:
I like the 2nd one the best and the 4th one (i think.) when she said, " I don't want to." sounded like she wanted to. The first one got alittle to crazy with the screaming in one part and the 3rd got kinda crazy too.
I voted 1 after listening to all 4 only to go back to number 2 and notice its the best. Crap.
Round two, folks! Yuki at bat.
I liked VA No. 1 the best. I must say-This is how dub casting should be officially chosen ^^
I voted for number 1 because her voice sounds very cute
I have a tie with 1 & 3. -_-

well, not neccisarily. It is nice to have a say, but I tend to view the general public as "stupid" Plus we are not profesionals, what do we know about voice actors and talent?
I chose #3 1 and 4 had a hint of emotion in their voice, and that just didn't read well for the charicter to me.
Plus we are not profesionals, what do we know about voice actors and talent?
Or, what do you not know about voice actors and talent? A funny secret about the "professional" world is that people become professionals by simply working as comissioned amateurs; pick someone from off a street and have him/her evaluate voices for any period of time and he/she will become a "professional".
It's just that those professionals have a resume of their work, whereas amateurs have none.
If you've watched enough television, you'll gain a degree of expertise in regard to what you watch/remember the most.
i still don't trust the general public :P
#1 by far is the best, sounds just like the character.
Also, I notice they pronounce it "Har-you-he" and I thought it was "Har-you-hi".

*Neither of those is right.
It should be (roughly, of course) "Ha-roo-hee." Romaji transcriptions of Japanese are phonologically-based, so you can tell what the pronunciation is (minus pitch accent) just by looking, regardless of whether or not you know the word already. I realize that's hard for a lot of us native English speakers to wrap our heads around (a system of spelling that makes some semblance of sense?! :-o), but it's true.
Haha, guess who?
I think 4 sounded the best and 2 being the worst.
I dunno, I kinda thought 5 was good by 4 fits as well.
I voted #3. #1 and #5 are terrible.
1 and 2 I thought were crap, I voted for #4; I voted 4 for Mikuru and 1 for Nagato. I can't wait to here the auditions for Haruhi.
I voted for 1, 5 was terrible
I voted #3. #1 and #5 are terrible.
meh…i thought 3 was the worst....the voice is good...but it feels like the person is constantly reading off the script...(meant it as in not as natural...like reading the page during a presentation)
there are long silences in between his words...
"blah blah.........blah blah..blah......blah..."
He screwed up the audition, but I know enough about public speaking to say that such shouldn't be taken into account when evaluating aptitude for a certain role. Frankly, none of the actors fit Itsuki, but I arrived at #3 as my pick because his voice had potential and a slight amount of "gayness" to it. Itsuki is naturally flamboyant, which is why people like to call him homosexual, but that eccentricity wasn't maintained in #1 and #5.
#2, #3, and #4 were all better than #1 and #5 in my mind, but the reason the latter two are doing so well is that people recognize Bosch and Freeman and immediately vote for them based on "ooh, he feels right for the role".
That's the wrong way to go about this; people should listen and evaluate the voices based on merit, not brand name. As such, I thought both #1 and #5 were weak; #5 was distinctive, but it was full of arrogance and Itsuki has none of that. #1 was bland.
3 and 4 were Bosch and Freeman? I didn't even notice that.
@Mr.:
3 and 4 were Bosch and Freeman? I didn't even notice that.
No, otherwise they would be doing well. #1 is Bosch, #5 is Freeman. Here's the match-ups:
1: Johnny Yong Bosch (Ichigo, Bleach)
2: Yuri Lowenthal (Sasuke, Naruto)
3: Steve Staley (Shiro Amada, 08th MS Team)
4: Dave Wittenberg (Lee Sampson, Cowboy Bebop: KOHD)
5: Crispin Freeman (Alucard, Hellsing)
Really? I must have a really bad ear for such things, I couldn't even tell.
Finally, the man himself is up for decision. From what Yotsuba says…the voices are terrible. :/
I couldn't choose between 1 & 4. Most of the voices were eh but these two were the better ones.

lol that's what I'm talking about with the general public. I did however choose #1 for this charicter. I've never seen bleach btw. I just thought the voice suited the charicter nicely, even if it is not an exact match. Also, The other voices were over-emotional for the conversation. I like how calmly #1 was speaking about the event.
I voted #4 for "the man, himself" Just read the lines very nicely. #2 was ok, until he stopped the naritive conversation, and stated talking to people. #3 was breathing to much. #5 sounded like a surfer boy. #1 was too emotional for the charicter.
5 and 1 didn't sound even remotely like Kyon. I voted for 2, he did the whole exasperated thing pretty well.
I voted for 5, the others just sounded awkward, 5 sounded like a normal nice guy which is what he is basically. Well…a normal nice guy with physic powers.
Voted number 1 for Kyon, the voice seems to hold the energy for Kyon when he has his outbursts.
Voted 5 for Itsuki ^^
