That is remarkably kick-arse.
JUMP Festa: 2006 (or 2007 according to Shueisha)

That is remarkably kick-arse.

That was awesome Greg. XD
I love the part with Sogeking.
-
That was awesome, I was watching that side-by-side with Crossbones' (From K-F forums) video, freakin' sweet.
-
This is THE AWESOMEST THING EVER . o_o SO COOL.
At first I thought Robin had Chopper's nose, though. XD
-
Yeeeeeah, they looked kinda silly…I liked it in 2003 when they were basically cosplaying as the characters. There was even a life-size Chopper.
You know.....I could transfer the video from that time to digital since I have the right cables now....too bad the video is back in the states -_-;
-
Yeah…I find the entire them being in those amusement park getups awkward, I had a creepy, awkward feeling while watching that.
Wish they were themselves.
-
It's cosplya, whaddya want? Video was freakin hilarious, Zoro part was really well coreographed too.
But, man, I don't think that was stock phootage, was it just me or was that part of a preview for the new OP movie on one of the video screens?
-
It was, but it was just used footage from the Alabasta arc.
-
Yes and yes. The only thing "new" we've seen are the movie posters so far.
The new preview shows all the old battles so it MAY be safe to guess that many if not all of the characters will be the same.
-
Can't wait to see that movie when it debuts. It'll be awesome to see Crocodile animated again.
Off-topic:
@Greg: I'm having a debate at NF. I know you can read and speak Japanese, So I'll ask you this, is there any truth to Mihawk cutting elements at all? Some guy swears it's in the databook, so I'd like to know if that's true or not.
-
I've never read anything like that. I don't own Blue in Japan but aside from data regarding characters not detailed in the manga (like Usopp's mom etc.) I dare say there is NO new information regarding characters that we don't already know about.
About as 'deep' as it gets with Mihawk is hinting about his relationship to Shanks.
-
That was pretty cool!
-
Aw~ I wanted to see a vid of Oda in his Pink Afro ! =(
-
Since this has been bumped, here's another question for Greg: some posters here where arguing Oda's reply about what he was jealous of from Naruto was disrespectful. Since you were here during the Q&A session, did it really sound disrespectful?
And more generally speaking, how are Oda and Kishimoto with each other? Friendly, ignoring each other, hostile? We already know Kishi said he was a One Piece fan but I'm not sure the feeling is mutual.
Just something I've been curious about. Thanks in advance.
-
Nope, not in the least. They seem friendly together. They even read each other's comics when they have time.
I dunno if I mentioned this in my summary but the wording even had to be toned down so as not to make it seem to competitive. With people from two different fields with all levels of kouhai/sempai flying around it was pretty fuckin' crazy regarding who could speak to whom in what tone and with what level of respect. Tanaka was definitely running the entire show though since she was doing VA work when Oda was reading DB at children's summer camp.
They were simply two aspects of the respectful series that the other author really wanted in their own.
-
Thanks for the heads up.
-
The VA's continued with an anecdote about recording the scene (yes, they've already recorded that far in advance)
Wow they record that far in advanced?! It makes me wonder if they're already audtioning brooke's (that's the new guys name right) lines O_o.
