Good question, I seldomly think about the powers and strength of new characters or once I have forgotten compared to others.
Though this guy confronting Cha might indicate that he is strong, if he’s stronger than Dumas or Proust is hard to tell atm.
I’d say he isn’t the No 1 that might be someone else. I would love to see someone who is knowledgeable to be No 1, it would kinda fit the Po Bidau family theme. -
I wonder how much longer until he learns full body transformation?

I bet he is able to do it now. I'm not sure if I am imagining things, but I got the impression that his eyes do look different, could be wrong though.
The sequence where he went to Yasratch room to sleep, was hilarious.Also Rak is the King and he threw away the chess piece cause he thought it was something to eat.
Rachel being helpless is something I love to see. Also Kuhn happened to run into Dumas. -

That the captured branch leaders would turncoat was something I had in mind, so it’s actually nice to see. The two of them we met so far still believe that they will come out without a scratch, but Traumerei doesn’t strike me as the forgiving type of family leader.
Sad to see nothing of Enkidu and him taking over Goruro, but if my gut feeling is correct and the bit I saw on YouTube, we might get something about Traumereis nightmare rather soon.
Anyways it’s great to see Bam and Rak together, the only one missing is Kuhn. I bet together they could take on almost anyone and somehow win. I hope Raks origin and and what it really means to be a Native One. I want to see some kind of awakening and tbh I still don’t like small Rak, kinda reminds me of Chopper and his original more human looking and tall instead of merch. -
We can see the chess pieces in chapter 155, so Rak's octopus is probably a rook

In 188, we know that Khun is a pawn, he said so himself and the octopus is indeed a rock, so how did Khun get his hand on a King, the whale figure?
Goruro is bishop and I think we saw Bam holding the Queen, shark piece.
So that leaves Endorsi, Tiara and the branch leaders who could be King.
With 186 and Endorsi reacting with an exclamation mark, she might have the king?
Or am I reading too much into it? -

One of my wishes from last chapter came true, Rak isn't little and cute anymore and we get to see more from his ancient creature side.
I wonder how powerful he will be, as the hunter has finally found his prey. -

My main complaint for a long time with this series is the original crew we fell in love with back on the floor of tests seemed to disappear or not be of much use, so I’m really looking forward to Rak, Kuhn and Androssi getting some time to shine here
I would really like the rest of the team to come back into the story too though, when was the last time we saw one of them?

I’d say it’s not exactly a power up for Rak, ever since the hell train arc we knew that he was related to the ancient creatures, but this is the first time he truly transformed into one. I wonder what his state of mind is right now, he seems not to be in control.
And here we go, switching right back to Khun, when things started to heat up even more, truly a shame.@Shiebs I do agree, I miss some of the old cast, especially Anak, but who I truly want to see again is Wangnan, as far as I remember he kinda joined Rachel, to protect the former member of sweet and sour.

I forgot a lot of what happened on the hell train, except the big story beats.
What I remember, is that there was some sort of confrontation between him and a former sweet and sour member, but I forgot who. I think he killed him because otherwise Rachel would have done it? But like I said my memory is iffy and I wouldn't know which chapter range I should look at.
I hope that Season 2, covers all of Season 2 of the Webtoon, otherwise I probably need to reread the story at some point. -

It kinda reminds me of giant ape Goku, more destructive and beastlike. It also seems like rage plays an important role into accessing that power of Rak.
So Khun, Rak and Bam are up against Dumas, I wonder if they manage to take him down.
A total surprise is Endorsi having the other King. As of now, she's all alone, so I wonder if she runs into Rachel and her squat. -
I love that the main crew is getting power ups, reminds me of Enies Lobby

Well for Khun it's nothing new, but I think its only the second time using it, though incorporating White spells into it is awesome.
Duma's human design is cool. I wonder if Karaka has a similar human design, maybe similar to his potential brother, Wangnan.I hope we stick to this fight for the time being, I want to finish it and then sort of flashback to events which happened during Khun, Rak and Bam being inside Duma's "world of darkness".

Not sure, but it has to be about Rak. He’s related to the ancient ones of the tower so his powers are rare and ones he’s able to control them he will grow even stronger.
Khun can’t be dead, maybe manga dead but that’s it. He probably stopped his own heart and since he is physical speaking the weakest maybe he gets something like an armour.
Dumas is strong, stronger than I thought he would be. So assuming Dumas goes down at some point in the arc, will Traumerei and Gustang make up or will they destroy each other so the century old balance of power gets falls apart.
Anyways about 2 month until season 2 starts airing, I am really curious how much of Season 2 of the WEBTOON they choose to adapt.

Tiara vs Enkidu looks like it’s over but I bet it’s gonna take a while for him or her to win the fight.A chapter without Bam and his current whereabouts and chances of survival is cool and all, but I want to find out what happened with the three of them after they lost to Dumas, will someone come and save the day or is it Bam who’s going to save them in that weird world inside Dumas armor.

I’m still upset that the boss went from a sly, clever charismatic character to just some bad ass, everything about him seems different than what we saw before

She kinda gives me Rachel vibes and the commenters under the chapter had the same impression.They all look so young, especially Traumerei compared to how he looks now. Maybe it's because he seems so happy and carefree, so I am really curious what happens next.

Yeah, it was a surprise to see him out of all people. He seems to be on a mission, why else cover up?
Also Endiku will cause a mess, for a second I thought he would take over Amizu by the end of the chapter but then Luslec showed up.
Anyways, I pray for chaos and destruction.Also next week, Sunday the new season starts, I am thrilled. It will help me to remember parts of Season 2 as it has been over 4 years, since I've started reading ToG.
On another note. I do own the physical release and it's a shame that they stopped realising the hardcover version.
Also SUI's art has really improved compared to the early art style of ToG. -

With Luslec seemingly doing someone else's bidding, they might be connected to the other people who climbed the tower with Zahard.Not what I expected Endiku to do, he simply went with Amizu, I thought once he envied her he would go for the kill, but now I think he will fall in love with her and we will see bits and pieces of their travel together to V.

Slow chapter, but Endiku truly killed her.
Next chapter will pick up from where we left off and get Traumereis reaction to it. Maybe that's where Endiku gets banished to the sprout, but he seems like to know more about Traumerei and what happened to him so he might stick around. I think that this tragedy might be too simple to cause Traumerei and Gustang to "erase" their memories of that night.
I'd say the flashback and the true tragedy is gonna happen at the end of it.Episode 2 was good, I love the pace of the episode and truly enjoyed the snippets of Bam remembering Rachel, as he is truly alone at the moment.
I've read up to them meeting Mazino, so my mind is quite fresh on the events of the test and everything, which will follow afterwards. -

It has to be one of the people who went with V before he got killed by Zahard.
On that note if watched some lore videos about Bam and season 2 and apparently season 2 was cut short and should have been longer and ended with the reveal of the prince of Zahard.
We know that Wagnan and Karaka have some connection to Zahard, but -

Yes, that was mentioned by Leviathan to Bam when he absorbed him. Though that he was created by Traumerei might be new information.
Nice to see archer Bam again, it’s been awhile since he last fought someone stronger or equal to him.
I’m looking forward to the next couple of chapters, I half expected Bam trying to help Rak and Kuhn somehow and all three of them would go against Dumas, but this might not be the case. -
Lots of fighting the last couple of chapters so nothing to really talk about.
But the anime is just a disappointment, compared to the animation style of the first season. The second season feels bland, stiff and uninspired.
I don't belief it will get better towards the end of the season, but I'm probably going to stick with it just to refresh my mind of the events that happened in early parts of season 2. -

Gosh the two last chapters were so good, we learned a lot about some origins, like the blue flame of Khun and Marzimos wings.
V seems like Bam in every way I can imagine, but I want to see Arlene and Jahads eyes, I hope hers are the same color as Bams, otherwise the theory that Jahad is his dad might be true after all.
Hope that we continue with this sort of lore and background about the ten great families, they do deserve their own story but I also want to see more of Bam and his friends rise in the tower.
