Best chapter since the troll death.
Seven Deadly Sins

After 317 chapters I'm still in awe with Nakaba sense of paneling. This chapter was really great once again and Escanor deserve respect. I don't mind shonen friendship when it is like that
-
Escanor was already my favorite sin, but damn, that was great. I can´t wait for his sin´s backstory.
-
! DK is such a jobber, lol.

DK hasn't been imposing since purgatory. -
I didn't dislike the chapter, but did it really need 16 pages to tell us that Mel is sandbagging and Zel isn't fighting back against the DK?
-
Come on Nakaba. Give us Escanor Gaiden already.
-
Pretty clear to me that Nakaba has had no idea what to do with this story for a while now. The power scale is nonsensical as we see divine beings like the demon king jobbing big time and Ban went from the weakest to the strongest.

Not really? It clearly states that Zeldris as a vessel is far inferior to Meliodas, so he isn't as strong as he is in Purgatory or possessing Mel and Ban just got his Sacred Treasure after gradually getting stronger in Purgatory. And don't forget he lost his Immortality, so it's a win-some and lose-some situation.
-
I don't think Ban was ever the weakest. Definitely Diane forever and always.

Meliodas easily blew the demon king's arm in purgatory after using his real power. Ever since the clever Estarossa is Mael reveal, it's just been boring onesided slugfests. Just boring Bleach and Fairy Tail level of action.
-
How to lose any argument. "This is Bleach or FT levels of bad".
Nakaba who foreshadowed the curse of the lovers not even ten chapters into the story has no idea of what he's doing? The same guy that bamboozled the entire fandom by letting them believe the story was coming to an abrupt end? Give me some of that shit you smoke.

I like this series, I promise I do. But I just don't care about any of this. Bring back Escanor already!
-
You don't read a book for just one character, or watch a movie or tv series for the same thing.

I do. Sometimes a massive chunk of characters aren't interesting.

I literally only care about Escanor in this series. Maaaaybe Merlin to an extent, but only maybe. I only read one piece for Franky and Robin tbh. Brook has his moments too, but it's mainly about Franky and Robin for me, because those are the characters I like the best.

I might get some hate for this, but that's how I feel about one piece. I find Luffy especially uninteresting. And most of the strawhats aren't much better unfortunately.
-
The Demon King is losing because he can´t show his real strenght without a beard, that´s has to be it. I didn´t like the chapter, but considering that he is still acting smug he must have something under his sleeve. He was cooler when he was just a design though, I think he is lacking a reason for being evil.
On the other hand, seeing Mel and Eli doing a combo attack was pretty cool, it´s always nice seeing those.
-
Nothing in DK's actions make much sense. Does he really only wanted to groom a new body for him in his sons? Why go on the offense if he still not used to Zeldris body and hasn't recovered his power yet?
-
Pretty boring chapter, bring back the sun~
-
I agree that the chapter was sort of boring, but it seems necessary and it's not like the action wasn't good enough. We learn a couple of things as well
1. Meliodas has full on Demon King Powers
2. Meliodas is not using those powers to protect his brother
3. The Demon King realizes this and it's what will let him get a one-up on Meliodas. Why are we mad at internal consistency? We know that Zeldoris isn't the correct vessel for the Demon King and no one would be satisfied if the fight wasn't close or at all competitive. I can buy any one of you not being invested at this point, but I don't understand anyone questioning the power level consistency or anything of that nature.
-
If you have read the title for the next chapter you know what's coming next. Taking full advantage of that fact, the DK will bring the battle to a stalemate and have his demonic mana grow stronger as the fight drags on.
And then playtime will be over and we'll bear witness to the real and dreaded DK.

DK: "Emotions are a sign of weakness".
And boy, we're starting to see why. When Meliodas lost his emotions, he mercilessly slaughtered Fraudrin without a second thought. In these same cirmcunstances Meliodas would have not cared if it was his dear brother's body. But as things stand now, the DK has already won.
-
So, just out of curiosity, how many solaire references have been made toward Escanor in the past? He seems to be prime "Praise the sun!" territory, no?
-
Things could have bee solved long ago if Meliodas had brought Gelda to Zeldris when he was in Camelot.

Good to know that you are the ultimate authority on what is a good or bad argument because someone has a different opinion.
I am still reading this because of Escanor and also because it's ending soon so might as well stay until the end.

Honestly the fight in purgatory lasted several hundreds of years and the fight of the alliance against the demons was anything but one sided so I'm not sure what you are basing your impression on.
I could understand you didn't like them but they were not one sided.
Also the current fight, which should be one sided, is not because of Meliodas feelings for his brother -
Ironic. The DK robbed Meliodas of his emotions because they would get in the way of his philosophy, that caring for someone weakens you.
Now we're seeing how right he was. Meliodas just can't (understandable) bring himself to kill his own brother off, who is completely sodomized right now. Neither Elizabeth wishes for that tragic outcome as well.
The DK has may be losing in the strength department, but he's won the battle of wits.
-
This is a shonen manga. Actually caring for Zeldris will save him, whatever advantage anyone gain by being an asshole will fade away soon.

I know this is a shonen and i shouldn't expect that much depth but even then it was too formulaic.

Zeldris the ultimate puppet. -
This chapter: from zero to one hundred real fucking quick.
-
Spirit: 3800
Illusory Vampire tiddies: over 9000 -
That's certainly not where her lap is.
-
Spirit: 3800
Illusory Vampire tiddies: over 9000It's more than that. It's having everything you had hoped for and everything you htought you had lost given to you all at once. Might be to good to be true, but when you have stayed "strong" for too long, it might just be impossible to pull out of.
That said the cleavage probably helps.
-
He still lacks the relationship he wanted with Mel and I doubt DK is going to make a passable impersonation.

16 characters of Tru that

Are vampire tiddies that powerful
-
Just a heads up. That form towards the end is reminiscent of the demonic appearance of Zeldris Arthur saw before dying.
-
Arthur didn't died. He is just in coma.

That would be easy.
"Hey there bro! Which one is better? Tits or Asses?"
-
Arthur didn't died. He is just in coma.
So he's dead for the meantime. How is he going to wake up anyway, there doesn't appear to be a wat to bring him back, for now
-
Chandler and Joey are dead, so the direct cause of the curse is gone.
-
"Hey there bro! Which one is better? Tits or Asses?"
As much Meliodas like this is, DK couldn’t deliver it in a believable way.

This whole Holy War was started because the Demon King said "WE WERE ON A BREAK"
-
Oh yeah. The Seven Laws were a thing.
-
Everyone come together and work as a team…except Escanor apparently.
-
Escanor decides when he wants to arrive.

I'm hoping he'll show up as the one, and just completely wreck shop.

@The:
I'm hoping he'll show up as the one, and just completely wreck shop.
As if the One can do anything against the DK. But then again this series hasn't made sense in ages.
-
Why can't the One do anything against the DK?
-
Honestly I don't know that we have any way of knowing how Escanor's The One mode measures up to the DK or the SD. Both were gone long before Escanor was born. I'll be interested to find out.
That said unless Escanor has a power from Sunshine that will allow him to heal rather than hurt, then I do not think he will be the deciding factor in the fight. Meliodas wants to save Zel. Utterly destroying his body would not really allow for it.
-
Can't Ban use The One as battery for him to "gift" the DK and weaken him?
