@Long:
I want it to be something really old fashioned like Orville or Gerald
Or just very ordinary. Like Gary or Matt.

THE PROMISED NEVERLAND|KAIU SHIRAI
I love Finding Nemo and Finding Dory. I enjoy them as prison escape movies too.I never thought of them that way before lol.

Lewis sure has some interesting last moment memories. Damn shame he's dead though such a interesting character.
-
Guess little girl demon will play a bigger role down the line. Probably a princess or something.
-
New chapter out https://mangadex.org/chapter/409035/1
-
Thankfully called on the over-dramatic bullshit. Or melodrama, in this case.
-
If that guy arrives with just Emma at deaths door.. Remember how this arc started. With glasses girl promising the guy that he would die if he did something like that.
-
He had to bring at least one back.
-
We still don't know Mister's name!
-
And we probably won't until his dying breath.
-
Cant see him dying right now. Unless Lucas becomes the new mentor
-
Lucas will be key in acquiring a foothold in this world for the children to organize and be able to make war.
-
New chapter https://mangadex.org/chapter/413595/2
-
That chapter seemed really short. But we got the most important info finally lol.
-
Well there Yuugo. We finally know the guy's name.
-
Hmm, between this and One Piece, it seems rapid-pace chapters are the hot new thing.
-
And here I thought we wouldn't know his name until his dying breath. But whatever. For now we enjoy the brief happy times before going back into the breach.
That said, I'm a little surprised that Emma already wants to go back to the orphanage to rescue the kids. Weren't they going to try to make it to the human world at first?
-

One of the paths to the human world is in the orphanage.
-
I write stuff in the phone and then forget to post them >.<
Each orphanage has it's own gateway, but it seemed like Emma didn't want just to escape, but to change the world.
-
We didn't see main demon guy's body. Hmm.
That two page spread melted my icy heart. I like that the creators don't get over-the-top with deaths so when it happens, even to minor characters, it makes an impact.Yugo? Sounds like the name of a French cartoon character with a show based on an MMORPG.
-
What will be the endgame? Arriving on the Human World, Destroying Demon Lord with an unspeakable name or both?
-
To end the Promise (destroy all the gates or go to war) or replace it with a no farm version. That whole system has to go. Emma's basically Mr. Minerva 2.0. I can't see her letting the Promise continue.
Destroying Demon King @#$%&* is a must. I'm getting serious princess vibes from that girl demon. I can see her and Emma starting a new Promise. That has to happen for my sanity because those past scenes of human kids being grown like cattle was disturbing as hell.
-
That's Berserk-level creepy shit right there.
But also exciting. I'm glad to see it's not just "grab Phil and the kids and run".
-
When [██████]'s name gets overused it seems silly.
-
Yeah, we need a substitute name. Any suggestions?
Glad Emma's getting rid of the Promise and glad the kids are smart as ever. Escaping was never going to be enough and groups on both sides aren't willing to change because they aren't being badly affected by it. I just think this whole mess can be fixed if someone from Human World brought over some KFC. -
Chances of humanity having there own demon experimenting labs or something similar where they harvest the demons for their own selfish desires?

Chapter 98 https://mangadex.org/chapter/422405/1

I think I like the plot a bit more when there's other humans as the enemy. I'm curious about why they'd choose this type of life.
-
Same reason the moms did. When they ask you "do you want to be food or do you want to breed food", you chose to live.

Maybe? But I just want to know if there's another reason to not fight back like these others.
-
I have a feeling that humans are going to be maybe the biggest enemy here, even more than the demons. The demons have been pretty straight forward in their "flesh-eating demon" selves, but humans have abandoned thousands to keep the demons from hunting the whole human race. The demons, while horrific, haven't betrayed anything or anyone (that we've seen), but these guys have betrayed their own to make fucking human cattle ranches.

The rationale here being that they have probably saved lots of people or even the whole race the moment they signed the agreement, but doomed countless children to certain death. Not defending them, but we really don't know how bad things were back then (IIRC). Of course, one might ask the question if what they did was even worth saving the human race etc.
I mean, we've seen some pretty idiotic demons… but it would become a problem if they were the true evil in this story. Like superhumanly evil. Because if all demons are capable of human levels of thought... well, then that makes some of our protagonists borderline mass murderers.
What do you mean exactly? Are you talking about the "animalistic" demons from the forest?

I don't remember posting this! So, I have no clue what I was trying to say.

I think that's the ultimate philosophical/moral question.

I love the family togetherness the kids share. You can't have this type of story if you don't care about them. Yugo getting absorbed into the family is especially nice. Wouldn't mind implied filler featuring the lesser known kids in the anime. Was a time I thought Emma would be pushed aside as the main character for Norman or Ray. Glad I was wrong.
The supporter being in Demon World could pose a problem if there's no other supporter in Human World ensuring they have a safe way back. And how the heck are their phones working in Demon World? I knew AT&T was evil but damn.

You'd think they have something in place in case the Promise fell through. Some type of weapons testing facility using captured wild demons as targets.
But, you know, maybe humanity as a whole doesn't know about the Promise or at least the details. They'd be no shortage of supporters if everyone knew, or maybe I'm being too hopeful.

Yeah there might be some void century shenanigans going on where mentioning the demons leads to you being ridiculed and then having some sort of "accidental death".

Haha ok then.
I think that's the ultimate philosophical/moral question.
And probably also what will decide the ultimate course the kids will take. I mean, they do want to make a new deal with the Demon King (or whatever he is), but who knows what other things they'll get to know till then.

New chapter out and things are starting to get rolling again
-
So who dies first? Don or Gilda?
Ack, I shouldn't be so morbid, but this series is what it is.
-
Considering that EVERYONE survived the assault on the 5 demons, including the dude who got his eye smashed in, and the girl who got stabbed through the troath.. I would bet against that.

But that was after Emma promised nobody would die. I could easily see thek both living but its more of a possibility here.
-
The only non villain that has died is the girl in the first chapter, right? It’s hard to build tension when you know that there is no danger.
-
I forgot if Zack died or not.
-
If anyone dies it'll be one of the Goldy Pond red shirts, but I'm fine with no one dying as long as the story is good. I just want to see Don and Gilda level up.
-
I think that's what we all want to see.

Happy 100 chapters, eh!!
