Wow. If this is true, that's a lot of killers in a game. But, at the very least, I can confirm that the bolded part is true for N2.
Okay, so for starters, you guys probably figured out on Day 2 that I'm either a Tracker or a Watcher. I am, in fact, the town Tracker, meaning that my "Report #2" each Day has been the real one. Now, here's where things get messy.
As you've probably seen, I've been saying numerous times that I think there's a Roleblocker. Unfortunately, that was based on some faulty information that I had to spend multiple hours with the mods getting sorted out during the start of N3. Here's what happened: my N1 target was Galaxy, as stated in my report on D2. Galaxy attempted to kill Nectar N1 as we now know, and was roleblocked from doing so by SUDK imprisoning Nectar. Since neither I nor my target Galaxy were jailed, I thought I had to have been roleblocked by some other role to have been given the "No Result" response that I received. However: apparently I was "chain-roleblocked" (using the mods' terms) from Tracking Galaxy by the fact that, I guess, he attempted to make a visit (so the mods didn't count it as "he didn't visit anyone"), but didn't successfully do so (so it also wasn't counted as "he visited Nectar"). Because my target's target was jailed and thus my target was roleblocked, I was, too. Mods, please confirm, as per our conversation during N3, that if a Tracker visits someone who is roleblocked from completing their Night action, the Tracker will be "chain-roleblocked" as a result.
So yes, I was getting incredibly frustrated, because I've been unintentionally misleading the Town since Day 2 about there being a Roleblocker, and I have literally the only role in the game where this "chain-roleblock" thing can even happen. What's more, the other major reason that I mentioned earlier why I didn't have doubts about lynching Galaxy yesterday was because, based on my N1 result, Nectar's suggestion of Galaxy being a Mafia Rolestopper (wherein he and I were both given "No Result" when trying to investigate Galaxy) made more sense to me than the idea that I just happened to be roleblocked by somebody else N1 when I tried to investigate Galaxy. But with this new "chain-roleblock" revelation thingy, the results actually did line up all along, I guess; I just never would have thought that would be how this shit would work.
But, at the same time, while my gameplay was thrown off from D2 onwards by this huge misunderstanding, now that it's been sorted out, this still can offer a few useful revelations:
1. By now, we know that Galaxy wouldn't have had any reason to lie about his targets, but just in case there were any doubts, this completely confirms that Galaxy did, indeed, target Nectar N1. If he was targeting anybody else besides the jailed Nectar, his kill should have gone through, and I would have seen him.
2. When I was asking for others to claim before me, the person I was the most interested in hearing from was, indeed, you, Space. Because you are the only person I tried tracking where I wasn't roleblocked. Tracking Wooden N3 turned out to be completely useless because he was jailed anyway, and tracking Gal N1 got me the result (or rather, lack of one) that initially confused me before finally getting it sorted out. But you, I was outright told on N2 that you did not visit anyone. Since the "chain-roleblocking" exists in this game, the only way this is possible is if you really didn't make a visit. So, if you were Mafia and tried to claim a role that would involve you making Nightly visits, like the Doctor, and claimed that you had visited people each Night, I would instantly know you were lying.
3. This is also what allowed me to narrow down the Jailer to two people. It's not me, it couldn't be Nectar or Wooden who were jailed themselves (I was able to figure out it wasn't Wooden as soon as I got my report, before the Day even started, because I couldn't get "No Result" for him if he were the Jailer himself), and it couldn't be Space because he didn't visit anyone N2 and Galaxy was jailed, so that left No Swords and SUDK, with me leaning more heavily towards SUDK because of No Sword's wanting to lynch Gal and his reaction to Gal's reveal of being jailed. So if anybody tried to pull some counterclaim to get the Jailer lynched (which I figured probably wouldn't happen, but wanted to plan just in case), I could call them out.
4. This also allowed me to know even more strongly than I let on earlier that Space is not a Doctor, because in addition to you being sure there wasn't one, I knew you didn't visit anyone N2, and a Doctor has pretty much no reason not to visit people every Night.–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Nectar, did you get the chance to address this yet?
Well, there still could just be three (Femme, Galaxy, Space), and Femme died because of a re-directed kill on her thanks to the Bus Driver ability. In that case, though, that would mean No Swords lied about not targeting Femme on N1, and I don't know why he would do that unless he's a Mafia Bus Driver pretending to be Town-aligned (since I visited that page myself after Nectar pointed it out, and it says that the Bus Driver can be either Town- or Mafia-aligned). Or, I guess he could be a Townie who targeted Femme after all, panicked about it when she died, and lied that she wasn't a target.
I agree, I think we should confirm two people as the most trustworthy and kill everybody else off. If that includes me, so be it, as long as the two people we're allowing to live are people we're sure about. Here's what we could do:
1. Lynch No Swords today, to make sure there's no target-switching shenanigans going on with anyone's reports.
2. Mutually decide, between Wooden, Space, and myself, which one of us SUDK should jail for the Night.
3. Nectar investigates one of the two of us not jailed, or SUDK if he wants to be sure, whatever is decided on there. Wooden and/or I, if we're not jailed, can even use our powers to make sure people are doing what they're supposed to during the Night.
4. Nectar gives a report the next Day, clearing one person. We can decide whether or not we should lynch, or just do a No Lynch and repeat the same steps for the following Night with all 5 of us still alive.
5. Nectar's report the next Day clears a second person. From there, we can start lynching off the three non-cleared people, one of whom would be Nectar (whom we could even lynch first to confirm the validity of his reports to the other 4 of us). If one of the two that we clear is Space as really being a Town vigilante, he could even kill one of the three non-cleared people during the following Night to make it go faster.
6. The two cleared people are the last two alive, and they vote together to end the game in favor of the Town. What do you all think of that? Now, granted, this would probably only apply if either A. it turns out No Swords is a Mafia Driver (with the implication that he lied about not targeting Femme), or B. he admits to us that he's a Townie Driver who actually did target Femme. If he insists he didn't, and he flips Town, then we have to re-evaluate, because that would seem to suggest that someone else killed Femme and we do have another killer still alive and unaccounted for. Naturally, this also won't apply if somebody dies unplanned during the Night, or if Nectar gets a Guilty report on someone.
Forgot to answer the first time. I said that originally about the Jailer to throw off any Mafia. Revealing I wasn't talked to could send them after the less active Townies who I believed the Jailer was.
I'm liking your plan. Again, all for No Swords to be lynched and me clearing Space and one other.
Wooden, will you claim now?
Wooden's report adds up with the details he gave me last night, in case anyone was wondering.
No sense holding off any longer:
Vote Lynch: No Swords
@No Swords Did you target Femme the Night she was killed?
I will target Space the next Night.
