Not every character development is a good development.
Or rather, having Gowther undergo this change could be something saved for the final stretch of the last arc, when having him so radially transformed wouldn't matter much anymore. But as it is, it feels more like a complete deconstruction of a character rather than a development, he is barely the same character anymore and it feels cheap.
But I suppose this newfound need for the Seven Deadly Sins to become BFF all of a sudden means he needed his heart back soon because bonds. -

Gowther now is out of the game, must say i like it! He doesn't deserve such happy feelings, better death than being a goody one. -
Didn't expect Chandler was dead, but I don't like the fact cursed seal is intact again.
It did struck me as odd that Meliodas' master wasn't a sword user.

I actually believed he was defeated, hopefully I was wrong. This new demon duo barely had time to properly build the hype around them, if Chandler was defeated already it would feel like they were introduced just to stall, nothing more than "monsters of the week".

Meliodas may be unconscious right now, but he just keeps getting better. He showed Diane the good side of the humans (even when he himself isn't one), Got Ban out of his jail forcefully like a boss, and gave King some words of praise as well as encourage him. Truly there's no one better than him to lead a group of representatives of all races.

"We are simply a fairy and a giant." Awesome. I hoped they'd be shown frustrating Chandler some more, though. Nakaba didn't even bother giving us hope they might stop him. And I think it was a missed opportunity. There's always greater impact when the fight isn't one sided and you're led to believe the good guys stand a chance.

Well with Gowther being broken, they are only 6…. and most of them are not in a good state. So I guess they must find a new strategy. Chandler can teleport so i wonder how they can escape him

Ban kind of needs to steep up his game, but I doubt chandler doesn't has a trick to put an immortal to rest.

Being immortal and having a magic power that can turn the tables against enemies much stronger than himself (remember he just waltzed through the Ten Commandments and nearly killed Melascula), I think being weak is a needed handicap for Ban.
But I doubt it will keep that way, though, since Nakaba is using his lack of strength as an excuse to sideline him instead of making use of his OP magic to compensate that.

Ban has been pushed enough to accept the goddess clan deal for more power. He'll probably wont try to kill Melodias but he wants the power to stop him if he goes on a rampage again.
Right now he has the limitations of his human body, but if he got one strong enough to mantain his wild hunt skill he can become quite owerpovered.
