@The:
I just don't see the need to do this whole special generation thing, on top of this already silly plotline of make all food places follow one persons will. Apart from that, I enjoyed the chapter, and look forward to Eizan losing again.
When you think about it, Soma's being a special generation really doesn't sell Senzaemon's philosophy or teaching style at all. In fact, I think it lends a bit more credence to Azami's junk. If all of your students suck and hate your teaching style unless you recruit a bunch of ultra elite quality students and put them in a class together, then there might be a few issues with your teaching style.
Also come to think about it, the champions of Azami's teaching are all Senzaemon's students; the ones that didn't suck. And yet they still suck more than the students who were handpicked.
If team Soma wins they are literally just proving that Senzaemon's teaching style is trash. Maybe that was Azami's angle all along. When the school is put under more normal mangaement and Senzaemon suffers a heart attack from the defeat, Azami will execute one of those quiet maniacle laughs while slurping down the last bowl of spiders the Elite 10 will ever vote him to eat.
