lucci is luffy's opponent,maybe this chapter and the next is oda's way of usopp's return and franky's enter to the crew
here is my theory,usopp runs to avenge luffy but gets owned and one instant before lucci kills him franky hits or shoots lucci to buy some time,franky tries to carry usopp and luffy but gets hit and while usopp and franky are down and waiting for their death luffy awakes hits lucci and thanks franky for his help and franky carries usopp away
and now luffy is pissed at the fact of lucci hurting usopp and he is higly emotional of usopp following the crew and the fight continues
i might be wrong,i thought the VAs would be weak but eitherway they are going down

After reading the chapter, I really don't see how Usopp would get over there to the fight. Not only is the bridge destroyed, but there are marines all around them. I don't think Usopp is going anyways. Now, him sniping Lucci to provide time for Luffy to recover, I could see that happening, but i'm hoping Luffy is only down for a few seconds and will recover and show us that determination that is we all know is Luffy. Man, already want the next chapter so badly :p

It looks like Zoro's sword really DID get broken. The marine snaps it in three pieces; and then the next frame with Zoro, it looks like he's stolen a Marine's sword.

After reading the chapter, I can tell that not all of the 200 captains are as strong as they made out to be. I think majority of them would be around captain morgan axe level.
As for Luffy, I dont think he's done yet. This fight kinda reminds me of the fight with Arlong, in the sense that everyone is done with their fight and just waiting for Luffy to beat the guy. I think it will be a repeat of it, and Luffy will come out top.
As for Sanji, I think he might have snucked into the buster call ship.. since its so close. He might use it to fight off the captains or the other ships as well.
I think Luffy and co will come out of Ennies Lobby alive, and finally be recognized as a threat to the world government.

Awesome chapter! Usopp at last!
On another note, I know the spoiler said that Zoro's swords caught fire and didn't break, but reaidng the chapter it really looks like one of them disintegrated or something. I mena, after that happens if you look he isn't using his katana but one of the marine's swords instead… Maybe I missed something, and it seems like an odd and quick way to just do away with one of Zoro's swords...

Definitely something happened to the sword zoro wields in his right arm. In the next panel Zoro is in after his sword is "on fire", his sword has some pointy things on the handle/base/whatever it's called.

That chapter…was just nuts....pure and simple! I like to thank BF first for providing it.
But again...marines everywhere, the SH fighting for their lives, Lucci may actually have won...and Ussop finally returns! (as Ussop, not Sogeking) I just hope next week makes more sense of this...unless the next arc is "Impel Down"...

His sword was corroded or rusted or something. It's destroyed. Wow! He was using a marine's sword in place of it, that's why the hilt looks different.
EDIT: Man some of you guys are smoking crack if you can't see that the blade has been broken into three pieces.

This chapter remind me of the fight of luffy and crocodile, when luffy drop b/c of the poison than it went to bomb hunt. I think the next chapter is something like that, it will change to the fight with the marines and at the end of the ch luffy will get up and say you can't beat me or i won't lose.

Luffy is only down one one knee with his fist to the ground, he's not out of it just yet. Also Zoro is using a stolen katana with 4 star points on the hilt, either his other one is broken and he's still got the pieces or it was burnt and he's not using it.

As for Luffy vs. Lucci i really hope the fight will end next chapter, but that's what people have beeing saying for a month now.
As for those 200 captains they are so kickass, they are not on Smokers level but they are strong motherfuckers. I just can't believe that one of Zoros swords has been destroyed.

If you look closely that seems to be a Marine sword he is using. It has the finger-guard thing and a completely different hilt to Yubashiri. Yubashiri seems to have corroded into… dust.
At least I think that was Yubashiri that got dissolved, it'd make sense as that was the only sword he had that wasn't 'special' as-it-were.

Holy shit. Respect for Lucci +++++ if this is it.
It's great that Luffy has an opponent who believes as strongly in their own ideals as he does in his. Each one thinks they have the higher moral ground and are fighting with sincerity.
The whole ending with Usopp yelling reminds me of Little Garden when Luffy was caught in Miss Goldenweek's colour trap. Usopp is somehow going to get Luffy his chance if we follow the pattern.
