Is there a link somewhere? I didn't even see it up on stream.
Haikyu!!

Thanks!
Yay finally it's done. It feels weird going so long not seeing Karasuna.
-
Meh I'm not feeling this Nekoma match at all, we all know Nekoma are going to beat these jobbers. I'd rather we go back and see some down time with Karasuno
-
Yeah I'm actually worried that we get S3 so early. Really, really hope the quality won't drop, both Manga and Anime

New chapters out!
! If done properly, the sports festival can probably make a good filler for the anime.
-
Oh wow, wasn't expecting something like that sports festival, it's amazing.

Chapter 207 is out.

MMMM I do love me some stats.

MMMM I do love me some stats.
Me too. I have no idea why lol. I forget what the first series was I read/watched was that had it. But I was changed forever. American cartoons rarely do actual stats.
I wonder if Kageyama will go. And turn into a beast.
-
That was a fun chapter. Didn't realize just how much I missed the normal crew.. Nekoma focus was alright but I'm glad we're back to normal. Wonder what's in store at the camp, think Ushiwaka will be there? lol.
MMMM I do love me some stats.
Me too, they can be fun. lol

It's out on tumblr aswell http://imgur.com/a/X6EbL
I did some vertical jump (for some unknown reason) on Track & Field this year, got 278cm, and a guy around my height that was also a volleyball player got 310cm, they are truly crazy stuff.
I can't wait for some more training, this manga manages to make it entertaining. I wonder if Hinata's going to meet the Little Giant since Karasuno finally managed to get to the nationals again. That's the only thing that I can think of that compares to Kageyama's training.
-
New chapter came out: http://readms.com/r/haikyuu/208/3444/1
Hahaha Hinata didn't get invited to any training camp. Loved that panel with Kageyama going "I'll be going on ahead". And that last page was awesome. Not sure if they will keep Hinata in that camp but let's see what happens next. Really loving these cool-down moments before the eventual big battle.
-
So good. Poor Hinata. Poor oblivious Nishinoya lol.
-
That moment with Suga and Asahi talking about Nishinoya was funny as hell.

This is going to be so great.

Well, I'm liking that Hinata's trying to think by himself even in this situation.
-
New chapter. http://mangastream.com/r/haikyuu/217/3586/1
Hinata using the ole noggin'.
-
am i the only one who still gets pumped for this manga
-
It's still fun, it's just that we're in training arc central at the moment.
-
@Chopper:
am i the only one who still gets pumped for this manga
Nope. I still love it.
-
Ahhh, can't get here soon enough. This season has been awful for sports anime so I'm extra pumped.
-
Uh….Kageyama. What's goin on with you?
-
Kageyama's had a taste of gourmet beef and now can't handle the usual Karasuno McDonald's quarter pounders
-
Everyone sees where this is going, right? Kageyama is easy to read because he feeds his spikers perfect passes (hence the goody two shoes). He needs to learn when to give less perfect passes that are harder to hit but also harder to read.
-
Ohhhh Kageyama is back to his former "King" self….... I really hope the writer knows where he is going with this because Kageyama's character growth from the beginning has been one of the biggest highlights of the series for me. And i would hate for that to be suddenly gone.

New chapter is out: http://mangastream.com/r/haikyuu/224/3708/1
Really good chapter. I was a bit worried after last week's chapter but really it just shows Kageyama's growth and brings his development in a full circle. Also that last page with the crown was awesome.
-
Haikyuu S3 tonight!
-
Is it me or the animation team is really going in with this season? Hyped as fucking hell for this match. Enduring this match on a weekly basis with this level of animation is gonna be painful.
-
Coach Ukai's voice actor passed away this week. :(
It is great having Haikyuu Saturdays back though and the animation really is top notch… hyped for the rest~
-
Ooooh man. The episode this week had me feeling all intense even though I remember what happens lol. Tsukishima and that block was so well done.
This week's chapter was also a nice little in between chapter. I hope we get to see our liter libero shine the way Tsukishima did before. And of course as Hinata and Kageyama always do lol.
-
The Rocky theme song is actually titled Gonna Fly Now, which is just insanely appropriate.
-
Kageyama: Recalculating…Recalculating....Recalculating.....

#235
http://mangastream.com/r/haikyuu/235/3900/1Goodness…it feels like yesterday that I first watched Haikyuu, saw that little guy who adores volleyball do crazy jumps and lightning-quick combos, slowly fighting his way up. And now Hinata and co are finally at Nationals and lemme tell you, it does feel so very satisfying <3
-
Aaand the boys take the first match 2-0, courtesy of the third-years being awesome when it mattered.
Now I hope we're in for some other schools' matches, especially one of those housing one of the country's best three spikers.
-
The last few chapters have been pretty great~ but I'm really hoping this wraps up soon and doesn't get dragged out even more.
I honestly can't say I've cared much for the current match and judging from how dead this thread has been lately it seems like I'm not alone in that sentiment. :ninja:
-
I've been reading it. But man this arc is dragging lol. And I can't recall but they haven't won a set yet right?
-

They won the first set, whoever wins this one wins the match so it should end in a few chapters.
-
A year long match involving these boring ass twins was a mistake. I still haven't even bothered to learn their names to differentiate betwwen. God forbid Karasuno ever make it to the finals because that will last forever
-
I'm really enjoying this match. While Inarizaki is not the most interesting opponent, I loved how almost everyone from Karasuno had a shining moment.
I'm used to follow long matches in sport manga so this kind of pace doesn't bother me.
With next match being the hyped battle of the trash heap, I expect it to be the longest match of this manga by far. So, I would advise people that can't stand that pace to take a break and read the next one in batches.
-
The Inarizaki match possibly poses the hardest test for Karasuno yet in terms of opponent skill (talking about drama, it's clearly Shiratorizawa taking top spot) and while it's certainly cool to see both sides go all out with, frankly, ridiculous plays at times (the Miya twins pulling all kinds of tricks out of their hats and Ojiro spiking through virtually anything), I definitely wouldn't mind seeing a conclusion this week.
As for who scores the final point, I'm honestly not sure. Story-wise, it would feel right to see Tanaka score that all-important point in order to show his mettle. Likewise, Kageyama could win it to prove his superiority to the opposition's setter. And we all know, Hinata's always in for the final point even though he's had his fair share of awesome moments already.
Really hard to predict, this one~ -

Really hard to predict, this one~My money is on Hinata getting the final point. He's slowly been stealing the spotlight in the game with his defense, so I feel the Author might give him an attack from a defensive position where he can use the little giant's jumping technique to jump even higher.
As much as I'm looking forward to the match ending and Karasuno advancing, I dread the match with Nekoma because it will most definitely be much longer than this one. Especially because Nekoma has been built up as endurance beasts.
-
! Finally! That color spread for the 6th anni is great. Can't say I was expecting the match to end like this but I love how it mirrors back to their Seijou loss. While it may've dragged a bit in the middle these last few chapters have been absolutely amazing and you can really see how the Karasuna players have leveled up. This match was pretty fucking great overall and I can't wait for it to be animated since I feel like we already have enough content for another season.
-
Yay! Now that's a chapter. Although I can't tell who is giving the internal monologue in the last couple pages.

Pretty sure it's supposed to be Tsukki.
-
Color me surprised!
Truth be told, I was expecting the points back and forth to continue when the twins went for that back minus attack, but lo and behold, it's our monster duo displaying their refined reading of the game (and let's be real, they're the real masters of any quick attack).
Once more– I did enjoy this match quite a bit (despite its lengthy nature) but getting one or two breather chapters now will be a welcome addition. That reminds me, I should check out the other match-ups~

Taken from the latest chapter, ie. the start of Karasuno v Nekoma

-
Another ridiculously badass double spread to conclude this week's chapter.
[hide][/hide]
The hype is killing me.
-
I do love that Karasuno are coming into this math as favourites. It makes it quite exciting and satisfying to have their growth acknowledged.
-
Last week's chapter. End result. I don't dislike how it ended.

Getting Kenma to admit that he's having fun was the real goal of that match.
Totally looking forward to Karasuno's next match. I could see them facing off against Bokuto's team (assuming they make it) in order to put some emphasis on top level spiking but I feel like there's not much else story-wise to use in such a match-up.
Which means Karasuno's next opponent will most likely be about pure volleyball skills and the country's best players. Maybe the team of the new Little Giant?
